About: I have been an animal lover my whole life! Growing up, I had dogs both big and small, as well as cats. Now I have a dog (June) and a cat (George) of my own. They are the loves of my life! I have experience with puppies and seniors, as well as administering medication to dogs and cats. I’ll treat your pet as if it were my own! I am currently in school, and it is self-paced, so my schedule is quite flexible! I can provide pet care basically any time, and adjust my school schedule accordingly. If I am caring for a pet in a client’s home, I will be sure they feel comfortable and safe with me. About: My 3.5 y/o corgi, Kiko, would tell you I love all dogs, almost too much. For the last 13+ years, I’ve been fortunate enough to be responsible for at least 1, and most of the time 2 dogs of my own. While I have no formal training or certifications , I’m great with puppies still learning a routine, senior dogs who need a strict routine and everyone in between. I’m a very calm human so even nervous dogs are comfortable with me. I currently work from home, so I’m really good for dogs who require a little extra attention or struggle being left alone for long periods. I have a spacious two bedroom apartment with one flight of stairs and a nice balcony/patio for bird watching and sun bathing. When Kiko is here, we go on at least 3 walks a day, weather permitting, and make regular trips to various dog parks to see his friends throughout the week. When he’s not, we’ll still walk a lot but maybe fewer dog park visits unless that’s your dog’s thing too. If the cheapest sitter you can find is what you’re looking for, I’m not your person. However, under my watch, your dog will be safe, extremely well cared for, and loved like they are my own. Your dog will get the same care if I’m at your place and I share custody of Kiko, so his presence is not always guaranteed.

About: I grew up with dogs & cats my whole life, and was the kid pet sitter of our neighborhood. Now I have my own dog and bought a whole entire house by myself just so he could have a big fenced yard. He is high energy, high maintenance, anxious, quirky and yet very wonderful dog, I would die for him. That’s all important for other pet parents to know so they can trust I fully understand how much they also love their babies. I also understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with basically strangers, and how awful it feels when a rover sitting goes south. But I also known what it’s like to have found a beloved, treasure of a regular pet sitter. I’d love to be able to be that for someone myself, or even just a safe backup option to have on speed dial with your regular sitter is unavailable. I currently work a full time in office job. I do have some remote flexibility for some occasions. My in office hours are also somewhat flexible, I normally am in the office between 9-5, but have some freedom to step out for appts or pet care mid day and return to the office. The time I need to be in the office in the morning & leave in the evenings is also somewhat flexible. But outside of work, I have an open schedule for watching pets. I am able to stay home all evening after work and all day on the weekends. I would prefer to watch/board dogs at my own home because I have my own dog to care for. But rest assured, he is a very friendly and submissive or else purely indifferent with other dogs. I have a fully fenced, secure, 8ft wood privacy fenced large yard. So your dog will also be able to run, enjoy & play with my dog in the yard. If the idea of another dog in the home worries you, I can assure you that your dog will be absolutely safe with my dog, as I worry about his safety just as much in the presence of other dogs. They would never be left alone together unsupervised. If they are playing in the yard, I will be out there with them. If I need to step out of the house for awhile, they will be left in separate areas of the house, unable to access the other. Pet parents can trust I will not take on more than I can handle, and I will be up front with anyone if I don’t feel I can handle their pets for whatever reason. The safety of my dog, myself, and other animals is my main priority.
About: I’ve had a lot of exposure to animals from a young age, mainly with dogs of all ages and temperaments, but I have cared for exotic animals and understand how important their needs all are. I work totally on my own schedule as I want but don’t have a strict schedule, making it easier to take care of animals. My schedule is not set in any way. Typically I care for them based on the the request on the owner within reason, but I tend to give them as much attention and love as they need. I want them to feel loved. About: Growing up in unincorporated King County we always had a wide range of stray cats, escape artist canines, feed store chickens, ducks, and I took care of and managed my rabbitry of 15 to 20 bunnies. I became the usual go to within the neighborhood when someone made a trip out of town. Around the age of 16 or 17 I started to spend my weekends in a few different horse stables. Cleaning stalls and paddocks, as well as feeding, and grooming expanded my knowledge and love for animals. My first job was with a well-known chain petstore, who i stayed employed with for 2 years and 3 months. This is where i learned the most about caring for a wide variety of critters. About: We had our first crazy dog for 11 years. We've had our current old dog for one year, and have learned to guide him around through his failing eyesight. We will have the support and advice of one family member who has been petsitting for six years. I stay at home full-time. There are usually two to four people at home at any time. Our own dog is never alone. I am available for boarding any time, and having another dog or two occasionally will be a treat for all of us. We have a yard, but no fence, so we always use leashes when going outside. We have stairs that dogs will need to navigate. The light in the staircase is always on. We have an older dog of our own who cannot see well but loves other people and other dogs. He especially likes little dogs, but occasionally objects if they get too close too fast because he cannot see them coming. We have experience giving pills, eye drops, and ear drops.

The daily hygiene routine of the dogs includes cleaning of eyes, paws, sanitary areas. If at any time, your pup gets sick, I will notify you and also connect with Rover vet. I can provide the pup with rice and boiled chicken in case of upset tummy. I can provide medication to your pup as and when required. Please make sure the meds are marked and labeled. I can provide with crate, blanket, bowls if necessary. I recommend providing big water bowls for larger dogs as I only small ones. Let me know about the commands or tricks your dog understands and the boundaries practiced at home so that we can do the same. My wife and I are currently working from home full-time. I will be attending to the dog full time and will be available to take for walks, potty breaks, and playtime. I have a fenced yard with outdoor camera. We have two fur babies currently staying with us now. We have crates to crate train the pup. On walks, the pup will always be on a harness with a leash.

About: I've taken care of dogs throughout my entire life, and was active in training my border collie/lab mix Akila in my young adulthood. About: I Could Be Your Dog’s Best Friend! At a music festival over Labor Day weekend in 2025, I met a woman who needed someone to watch her Black Lab for a couple of hours. I was available, so we took her over to my tent. The dog immediately began acting as if she were my dog. The situation turned into me watching her for most of the weekend, giving the owner freedom to come and go as she pleased. One evening, her owner came by, so she could take the dog for a walk. And the dog didn’t want to go with her! She had to be coaxed into going out for a walk. She wanted to stay with me at my tent. In early October, I spent one week dogsitting for some family friends. Their Black Lab and I got along very well. I took care of him again, for two weeks, from late November through early December. Before the end of those two weeks, he was acting as if he was my dog. After my third time dogsitting for them, between May and June of 2026, they told me to just keep my own copy of their house key. My approach to dogsitting is simple. I will treat your dog as if he/she is mine. This means more than just feeding your dog and making sure he/she has the chance to regularly "take care of business." It means hanging out, spending time and forming a bond with your dog, so that he/she genuinely likes me and would be excited to see me again. At the Home Depot, I am part of the Night Crew. I work only 3 nights per week, 4 hours each night. So, I have plenty of time for caring for your pet(s). I cannot do boarding. I am only available for going to the client's home. On a previous dogsitting job, the entire yard was fenced in. The dog had free access to both the front and back yards. In the morning, I fed the dog, played fetch with him, and left him outside for the day. In the evening, we played fetch for a while. Then I brought the dog inside for the evening, fed him, and spent some time just keeping him company, before going home. I was consistently mindful to close the gate when entering and leaving the yard, and to lock the door when leaving the house.
About: I’m a mom to two cats and one dog. I can’t remember a time in my life where we didn’t have an animal in the house. I’ve always been someone my friends and family look to when they need a sitter. Info about my availability (please be flexible, as it might change. I might add random availability as it will reflect on my calendar): Fridays after 1pm Saturdays 1pm-3:30pm Mondays before 5pm I work two part time jobs and one of them has a pretty inconsistent work schedule. When I have the time off I’d love to take your dog on a walk. My schedule looks different every day, which is why I am pretty open for last minute bookings for walks. My main priorities are keeping my fur babies safe, healthy, and happy. With a 2 year old dog and a senior cat, I understand they both have different needs. We have a fenced backyard for our dog and he goes on 2-3 walks a day. When weather and my schedule permits, he goes on excursions with me or my family members. My senior cat can’t play as much as she used to, but still gets a lot of love and affection.
About: Growing up in unincorporated King County we always had a wide range of stray cats, escape artist canines, feed store chickens, ducks, and I took care of and managed my rabbitry of 15 to 20 bunnies. I became the usual go to within the neighborhood when someone made a trip out of town. Around the age of 16 or 17 I started to spend my weekends in a few different horse stables. Cleaning stalls and paddocks, as well as feeding, and grooming expanded my knowledge and love for animals. My first job was with a well-known chain petstore, who i stayed employed with for 2 years and 3 months. This is where i learned the most about caring for a wide variety of critters. About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. It first started with our family cat who I primarily fed, trimmed nails, played with and then our family Shetland sheepdog at age 11. I’ve had plenty of experience with walking, bathing, even training dogs on command and working on household behaviors. I’ve also taken care of senior dogs and have administered a variety of medications. I currently have a 3-yr old husky mix girl pup. I’ve crate trained her, somewhat good on leash (a bit reactive when other dogs pass by closely), and has good recall. I value the quality a pet has and would make sure they feel as comfortable, safe, and happy as possible, treating them as my own. I currently work from home twice during the week (flexible and can pick the days each week) and also available most weekends and evenings to take care of your furry family member! I live in a very dog-friendly area in Des Moines! I ensure at least 2-3 long waks a day, and enrichment like toys and training as well to keep your pup happy and busy!

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life! Growing up, I had dogs both big and small, as well as cats. Now I have a dog (June) and a cat (George) of my own. They are the loves of my life! I have experience with puppies and seniors, as well as administering medication to dogs and cats. I’ll treat your pet as if it were my own! I am currently in school, and it is self-paced, so my schedule is quite flexible! I can provide pet care basically any time, and adjust my school schedule accordingly. If I am caring for a pet in a client’s home, I will be sure they feel comfortable and safe with me. About: My 3.5 y/o corgi, Kiko, would tell you I love all dogs, almost too much. For the last 13+ years, I’ve been fortunate enough to be responsible for at least 1, and most of the time 2 dogs of my own. While I have no formal training or certifications , I’m great with puppies still learning a routine, senior dogs who need a strict routine and everyone in between. I’m a very calm human so even nervous dogs are comfortable with me. I currently work from home, so I’m really good for dogs who require a little extra attention or struggle being left alone for long periods. I have a spacious two bedroom apartment with one flight of stairs and a nice balcony/patio for bird watching and sun bathing. When Kiko is here, we go on at least 3 walks a day, weather permitting, and make regular trips to various dog parks to see his friends throughout the week. When he’s not, we’ll still walk a lot but maybe fewer dog park visits unless that’s your dog’s thing too. If the cheapest sitter you can find is what you’re looking for, I’m not your person. However, under my watch, your dog will be safe, extremely well cared for, and loved like they are my own. Your dog will get the same care if I’m at your place and I share custody of Kiko, so his presence is not always guaranteed.
