It’s wonderful to see how they all work together to make sure every dog gets plenty of attention and care. They kept me updated with photos and messages throughout the stay, took our dog on walks, and made sure he felt comfortable and loved while monitoring all the dogs closely. Our dog absolutely adored them and he gave everyone tons of kisses when we picked him up, which is his special way of saying “I love you.” Their own dog, Meelo, is such a sweet dog. Even though he’s blind, they’re very mindful and careful, introducing dogs slowly so everyone feels safe and at ease. About: I grew up with dogs & cats my whole life, and was the kid pet sitter of our neighborhood. Now I have my own dog and bought a whole entire house by myself just so he could have a big fenced yard. He is high energy, high maintenance, anxious, quirky and yet very wonderful dog, I would die for him. That’s all important for other pet parents to know so they can trust I fully understand how much they also love their babies. I also understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with basically strangers, and how awful it feels when a rover sitting goes south. But I also known what it’s like to have found a beloved, treasure of a regular pet sitter. I do have some remote flexibility for some occasions. My in office hours are also somewhat flexible, I normally am in the office between 9-5, but have some freedom to step out for appts or pet care mid day and return to the office. The time I need to be in the office in the morning & leave in the evenings is also somewhat flexible. But outside of work, I have an open schedule for watching pets. I am able to stay home all evening after work and all day on the weekends. I would prefer to watch/board dogs at my own home because I have my own dog to care for. But rest assured, he is a very friendly and submissive or else purely indifferent with other dogs. I have a fully fenced, secure, 8ft wood privacy fenced large yard. So your dog will also be able to run, enjoy & play with my dog in the yard. If the idea of another dog in the home worries you, I can assure you that your dog will be absolutely safe with my dog, as I worry about his safety just as much in the presence of other dogs. They would never be left alone together unsupervised. If they are playing in the yard, I will be out there with them. If I need to step out of the house for awhile, they will be left in separate areas of the house, unable to access the other. Pet parents can trust I will not take on more than I can handle, and I will be up front with anyone if I don’t feel I can handle their pets for whatever reason. The safety of my dog, myself, and other animals is my main priority.

About: We had our first crazy dog for 11 years. We've had our current old dog for one year, and have learned to guide him around through his failing eyesight. We will have the support and advice of one family member who has been petsitting for six years. I stay at home full-time. There are usually two to four people at home at any time. Our own dog is never alone. I am available for boarding any time, and having another dog or two occasionally will be a treat for all of us. We have a yard, but no fence, so we always use leashes when going outside. We have stairs that dogs will need to navigate. The light in the staircase is always on. We have an older dog of our own who cannot see well but loves other people and other dogs. He especially likes little dogs, but occasionally objects if they get too close too fast because he cannot see them coming. We have experience giving pills, eye drops, and ear drops.

About: Currently living in Des Moines not far from Salt Water State Park & near a few dog parks that we frequent. I can’t remember a time I didn’t have a dog! I’ve had a very good connection with Tucker from the beginning. Given how well he responds to me, I swear he thinks he’s as much my dog as he is my friends’. My dogsitting experience actually began at a music festival, over Labor Fay weekend in 2025. My first day there, I met a woman who needed someone to watch her Black Lab for a couple of hours. I was available. So, we took Aurora over to my tent. She immediately began acting as if she were my dog, and I wound up taking care of her throughout the weekend. At one point, her owner quipped, “She listens to you better than to me!” At the Home Depot, I am part of the Night Crew. I work only 3 nights per week, 4 hours each night. So, I have plenty of time for caring for your pet(s). I cannot do boarding. I am only available for going to the client's home. On a previous dogsitting job, the entire yard was fenced in. The dog had free access to both the front and back yards. In the morning, I fed the dog, played fetch with him, and left him outside for the day. In the evening, we played fetch for a while. Then I brought the dog inside for the evening, fed him, and spent some time just keeping him company, before going home. I was consistently mindful to close the gate when entering and leaving the yard, and to lock the door when leaving the house.

Alex took care of Baloo like his own dog and have regular updates with photos and videos of what he was up to!”

About: I've been pet sitting of a variety of breeds & sized dogs for over 13 years. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed, stay overnight, and play with their pets. I currently work from home full-time unless I am scheduled for out of town trips. I would have time for your pups. I am available most days, weekends, & overnight stays. I live in a cul de sac, and I have a fully fenced large yard. I would need your crate and / or dog bed for any overnight stays.
