“Lora did such a great job the first time she watched my little boy! I was thrilled when she was available for this last-minute drop in job! I especially appreciate Lora‘s updates and photos. And she was so understanding and patient with me and my multiple texts to her… I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a sweet, dependable and conscientious individual to take care of their beloved furchild!!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for most of my life. I had a dog in Colombia who was part of my family for 15 wonderful years, and now I have two cats here in the United States. Caring for pets has taught me patience, responsibility, and how important it is to make animals feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I truly enjoy spending time with pets and treating them like family. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I always make sure pets receive attention, playtime, and loving care. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment for pets and always make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I understand how important routines, patience, and supervision are, and I treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own cats.
“Katie and Adam absolutely outdid themselves for our boy. They definitely had great knowledge about dogs and we learned so much during their time with Magni. The amount of pictures we got while we were gone was wonderful! So many really great updates seeing our dog have the best time. I would highly recommend these two for your dogs, they would be in the absolute best hands!”

“Mary is a true cat lover. She also cares very much about the experience of both my cat and myself she went above and beyond several times as I tried to navigate my new cats habits. She will be my cat sitter from now on because I could tell she cares.”

“Willa was amazing! She took great care of my cat while we were away in Bali. She made sure to feed her twice a day and even played with her in the garden. We also had a broken door, and Willa took care of it right away while we were away from home. I really appreciate everything she did for us. I can’t wait to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring to look after their pet.”

About: I care for my own dog daily and understand how important routines, patience, exercise, and attention are for keeping dogs comfortable and happy. I’m familiar with walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and making sure dogs feel safe in a calm environment. I’m dependable, communicative, and will provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident their dog is being well cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m available weekday evenings and all weekend, so I have time for walks, playtime, potty breaks, feeding, and giving your pet the attention and care they deserve. I focus on building trust and helping every pet feel comfortable in their environment. I use positive reinforcement to reward good behavior and improvement, pay close attention to each pet’s needs, and make sure they get plenty of potty breaks!
“Kimee is phenomenal! She was extremely patient with our puppy and even trained her to not jump up much! She has a great temperament and is clearly knowledgeable when it comes to ways to make an obedient puppy. She treated our home and animals with respect and we will definitely contact her in the future :)”

About: Hi! My name is Ny’Mari and I’m a recent 2026 graduate of Renton High School and have been caring for pets since I was 10 years old. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have experience with puppies, including reinforcing basic training, routines, and positive behaviors while making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and love. I’ve also owned and cared for cats, fish, snakes, frogs, and other small pets, so I’m comfortable with a wide variety of animals. In addition, I’m happy to water houseplants and help care for your home while you’re away. I treat every pet like family and strive to provide a safe, fun, and loving environment that gives both pets and owners peace of mind. I have a very flexible schedule and am available 24/7 to care for your pets. Whether you need daily walks, drop in visits, overnight stays, weekend care, or last minute help, I’m happy to accommodate your needs. I make it a priority to give every pet plenty of attention, playtime, and loving care while sticking to their normal routine. When caring for pets in your home, I always follow your instructions and keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. For overnight stays, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved by providing plenty of attention, playtime, meals, potty breaks, and companionship. During dog walks, I prioritize safety by using secure leashes, staying aware of our surroundings, and matching the walk to your dog’s energy level. For drop in visits, I’ll feed your pet, refresh their water, let them outside or clean litter boxes as needed, play with them, give lots of affection, and make sure they’re doing well before I leave. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“My pup already loves Tensie! She spent about an hour here walking and playing with my dog and I can tell she was happy by how relaxed she was. Tensie is so kind and was really flexible with me when I conpletely forgot to leave her a key ??♀️. She treated my girl like her own dog and that is so calming to me as I’m one of those crazy dog moms. I’m excited to have her keep watching Kaiah for other occasions!”
“Kayleigh always takes great care of our spoiled older cat.. and our outside squirrel friends :) It's nice to have someone that our cat likes and knows, so he's not spending the entire visit under the bed. She plays with him, gives him treats in his activity tray, and he even sits by her sometimes for pets.”

About: I grew up with two Boxers, so I’m no stranger to high energy dogs! My family also had two Pit Bulls, and I seen firsthand that they’re some of the sweetest, biggest cuddle bugs around. I don’t buy into the stereotypes, they just want love, attention, and to be as close to you as possible! I currently have a Toy Poodle and an Aussiedoodle, so I’m experienced with curly coats, brushing out tangles, and keeping active pups entertained. Whether it’s a long walk, a game of fetch, or running around until they finally decide they’re tired (if that ever happens!), I’m happy to match your dog’s energy while making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I do currently work Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm so I’m available after 6pm on weekdays and completely open on weekends. As long as the communication is open I don’t mind trying to see the best way to work with your schedule. I do have a car and open availability on weekends so I don’t mind making a last minute trip if needed. Both of my babies are going through their terrible twos and would probably get into everything if they could so I definitely understand how important it is to board them safely afterwards.

“Kalie checked in on our cat (Siren) while we were away on vacation and exceeded all our expectations. We were appreciative of Kalie's prompt, informative, and detailed messaging. Siren can be challenging at times (she's wary of strangers) but Kalie did really well and Siren even sat next to her and purred. We hope to work with Kalie again in the future!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
