“We booked Mary as our cat sitter last minute due to an emergency with our original sitter, and we are so grateful we found her. She handled our two cats incredibly well—she even made friends with our shy cat on the very first day, which is something we didn’t expect! Mary went above and beyond, spending extra time and effort to make sure our babies were comfortable and cared for. When we returned from our trip, both cats were relaxed, happy, and clearly well-loved. We would absolutely rebook Mary for our next trip and highly recommend her to our friends and anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and attentive cat sitter.”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life and have been pet sitting for friends and family for over 7 years. I have experience with walking up to three dogs, drop ins and overnights, administering oral medications on a time sensitive schedule, and providing structure for rambunctious puppies. I love playing fetch in the yard just as much as cuddling on the couch. I look forward to meeting your fur babies! I’m currently a student taking online classes and working part time 1-2 days a week in the early morning. I have a very open and flexible schedule. I will take dogs into a fenced yard or go on walks regularly, provide enrichment with toys and treats, following mealtime schedules, and basic cleanup around the house including scooping poop in the yard.
About: I've dog sat for friends and family for years, walking feeding, and accompanying their pets! I have also worked professionally with dogs at a dog daycare at their big dog locations and small dog and puppies' location. I'm currently working part time, so I have a relatively flexible schedule during the week. I am always available for overnight boarding or check ins. I have my own big dog, so I am comfortable working with big dogs. I am committed to the well-being of your pet and value transparent communication with pet owners.
About: I specialize in providing personalized care for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior pets needing extra attention. With my background in project management, I bring strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring your pet's safety and comfort. I understand how to manage different personalities, ensuring each dog gets the care they need, whether it’s playtime, training reinforcement, or administering medications. I’m also highly organized and empathetic, making sure your pet feels at home while you're away. I work full-time from home which makes it easy for me to be available during the weekdays as long as i have wifi available. When i am not in meetings i am able to take dogs for walks, play, or will prioritize any training practice needed. Weekends i may have some short commitments during the day, but would always ensure i prioritize spending time with the animals i am caring for and making sure they are fed, taken out, played with, and given the attention they need. When caring for pets in your home, I make sure to keep their routines consistent to minimize any stress while you’re away. I’ll provide daily walks, playtime, and feedings according to your instructions, and ensure your home stays tidy. I pay close attention to their needs, offering specialized care for puppies or senior dogs, including administering medications, crate training, or extra TLC. Your pet will feel comfortable and cared for in your familiar surroundings
About: I have two friendly & playful pups. Bowie I have raised since he was a puppy and he is now almost 9 years old! Bowie is a large sized labradoodle. He is very playful but also patient with Roo my 9 month old super mutt rescue! Roo is slower to warm up to new people than Bowie (who loves attentions) and likes when new dogs can respect his space at first. Both boys are super friendly & love playing tug of war and chasing each other around the fenced yard. My dogs are allowed on the furniture but we also have room for a kennel if your dog prefers to have a safe space to decompress on their own. I can only board friendly social dogs that will get along with Bowie & Roo. I care deeply about making sure my dogs are in the best of hands when I am out of town and want to do the same for you & your dog! Please give me as many details as possible. I am an over communicator so all info is welcome! My goal is to give your pet a healthy & happy vacation! I live near the airport and can be flexible on pickup/drop off times. I work from home on Fridays and am off Saturday/Sunday. I can board dogs Fri-Sunday with complete supervision/care. I can provide care & application of medicine as needed. I want to make sure your pet is taken care of just like they are at home! Please give me as many details as possible for their care. I have a large fenced yard for your pup to play in, can take them on walks if you like, give them plenty of couch cuddles & they will be able to play with my two friendly pups Bowie & Roo!
“Amy is great! She’s super patient and great with my reactive dog. Her photos and videos make it clear my dog is comfortable and happy in her care. I feel totally at ease knowing my pup is in her hands!”

“Tiana has been great with Artoo. I first booked and she responded very quickly asking if we could do a meet and greet. Easy to communicate with via text or the app. Tiana sends updates with each visit as well as a picture or 2. Makes me feel better knowing she is stopping by to check on Artoo while I’m at work. Won’t hesitate to book with her in the future.”

“I'd give 10 stars if I could. Tyler & Alexis are so kind, attentive, and helpful. This is the longest we've ever left our Bengal cats for, and I felt so at ease knowing these two wonderful people were looking out for them. I know they were patient with my picky eater and were communicative about any one-off concerns (like surprise vomit). I feel so at ease with these two and recommend them highly for drop in visits, though they also offer other services.”

“Larcy did a great job with our 2 cats while we were gone for 5 days. She sent multiple updates and pictures so that we knew they were all taken care of. Will be using her services again in the future!”

“Joley is a real "dog person" who has a great way with Chipper when he get's anxious. She kept me informed of how they were doing, and was totally dependable. I was very happy to have her help!”

About: I’ve been fostering cats of all ages and personalities for 1 year! I have experience with potty training, oral medication and topical applications. I am a psych student and take pride in my ability to read each cat and listen to their needs :) I’m currently a college student. I am at home most evenings, and can spend time with your cat! I have the entire day available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I have a large individual room to my own, a cat tree, window planes that is a favourite for cats to watch birds on two sides, multiple litter boxes, hide-able nests and beds. WINDOWS ARE SEALED.
About: My family has always had dogs and over the last 10+ years I have provided care for them. I have cared for my own pets, as well as many other pets on Rover with various health needs and abilities. This includes older dogs and cats, those with health/medical issues/needs, those who need medication, as well as those with other types of support needs. I genuinely get so much joy from spending time loving on the sweet fur babies of this world and look forward to ensuring that while you are away, your fur babies feel loved and well cared for :) I am generally free Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, but may be able to make other days/times work occasionally! I often work from home Monday & Tuesday so those days can be more flexible depending on the week. I can occasionally do longer term stays (up to a few weeks), as long as there is a good set up for me to work from your home part time, so feel free to reach out about longer stays as well. I am flexible, and I prefer to hear from you about how you would like your fur baby to be cared for. I am happy to do whatever is easiest and most comfortable for you and your pet(s) :) I am very communicative, professional, respectful of your space and thoughtful in my care and won’t be afraid to ask questions and keep you updated on how things are going!
About: I have had pets ever since I can remember! My parents currently have two golden retrievers and two kittens that are well-loved. We raised the dogs since they were puppies, and our former cat was with us until her old age. I am very involved in taking care of the family pets, and I have experience pet-sitting dogs and cats outside of my family. I am here to keep your pet happy and safe! I am organized and passionate, so I can adapt to each pet's unique needs. I love going for long walks or using a toy to keep pets engaged. If requested, I will send photos and check-ins during the visit as well. I am currently an undergraduate student, and I have a part-time summer job as an ice cream scooper downtown! I am not studying in the summer, but I will be studying full-time in the fall. Please discuss with me beforehand how long the pet can be left alone during the day. I am not currently offering boarding services in my home. For overnight pet sitting, I will make sure to discuss the pet's needs in detail before the stay so that I can take care of him/her well. Please tell me how your pet likes to be entertained so that I can give your pet some extra love while I am there!
About: I’ve had a lot of exposure to animals from a young age, mainly with dogs of all ages and temperaments, but I have cared for exotic animals and understand how important their needs all are. I work totally on my own schedule as I want but don’t have a strict schedule, making it easier to take care of animals. My schedule is not set in any way. Typically I care for them based on the the request on the owner within reason, but I tend to give them as much attention and love as they need. I want them to feel loved. For visits and walks I try to be encouraging and go at the animal’s pace.
About: As a certified veterinary assistant, I bring a professional level of care, medical knowledge, and dedicated attention to every visit. My background allows me to confidently administer both oral and injection medications, ensuring that your pet remains on their prescribed health schedule while you are away. Beyond my clinical training, I am a hands-on dog parent to my own three-year-old dog, whom I have successfully trained, giving me a deep understanding of canine behavior, safety, and positive reinforcement techniques. Whether you have a high-energy puppy requiring extra socialization and activity or a senior dog that needs a gentle hand and specialized care, I am equipped to handle all life stages with patience and precision. You can rest easy knowing that your furry family member is in capable, compassionate hands during every walk or drop-in visit.
“Kelsey was an amazing sitter for our dog while we were away! She was great at communicating, expressing any concern she had, and updating with lots of pictures. We were able to enjoy vacation while knowing our anxious dog was in great hands and being cared for so well”

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 17, and over the years I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. From daily walks to overnight sitting, I’m used to being a consistent and reliable presence in a pet’s routine. I’m also comfortable giving medications and supporting both young and senior dogs with different needs. I especially love working with puppies! That’s really where my heart is. I use positive reinforcement, routine, and clear (but gentle) boundary setting, and I take the time to understand each pup’s personality so I can adapt to them, not the other way around. I want pets to feel happy in their environment, not just managed, and my ultimate goal is for everyone involved, pets and humans, to feel supported in the way they need to thrive. My background is in social work, which really shapes how I show up with animals too: patient, attentive, and tuned into emotional and behavioral needs. In my free time, I love reading across every genre and learning about astrology, so I bring a calm, curious, and intuitive energy into the care I provide. I work independently and by contract, so I have a very flexible schedule. I’m usually available for in-home pet sitting with as little as two days’ notice. Having WiFi in your home makes it easy for me to take care of a few light work commitments during the week (Mon–Thurs), while still being fully present and attentive with your pet. When caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on creating an environment that feels as close to their normal routine as possible. I take time to learn each pet’s habits, preferences, and personality so I can adapt my care to what makes them feel most comfortable and secure. I prioritize consistency with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest, and I use positive reinforcement and gentle boundaries, especially with puppies and high-energy dogs. I pay close attention to behavior and energy levels, and I adjust throughout the day to meet their needs — whether that means extra play, quiet companionship, or more structured activity. I also believe communication and preparation are key. I ask that all emergency contacts, vet information, and care instructions are shared ahead of time, and I strongly prefer a meet and greet before booking. This helps ensure I’m a good fit for your pet’s specific needs and that everyone feels comfortable and confident moving forward. Overall, my goal is for pets to feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. I want their time with me to feel calm, familiar, and loving, so both pets and their humans can feel at ease
“Eric was very thorough with his visit recaps and took very good care of my dog. He always arrived at my house at our agreed time, gave her medicine and hung out with her while she ate dinner as she is sometimes an anxious lady. I will definitely use Eric's services again in the future as my doggy was in such good care with him!”

About: I have cared for dogs young and old, big and small, sleepy and energetic, fluffy and derpy. I'd love to hang with your pup. I spent all of 2025 using pet sitting to travel around the country and internationally, caring for 9 dogs, 14 cats, and one rabbit in the past year. I have been a dog lover ever since I first held my baby pug dog-niece, Beans, in my cupped hands. Since then, I've cared for Beans frequently, as well as for the pets of other friends and neighbors. I'm currently doing a smattering of freelance work and trying to finish my novel, so I have plenty of time to give your pet all the cuddles, pets, and walks they deserve. When pet sitting, I care for any client's home with care and respect. I do my best to follow the pet's routines to keep them as comfortable as possible. I strive to leave each home at least as clean as I found it.
Normandy Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Stephanie took great care of my 3.5 month old mini dachshund puppy (Siggi) for a few hours while I had to be away. Stephanie was prompt, communicative, and followed instructions. Best of all, she and Siggi got along very well and I'm glad he has a new reliable friend!

I had a super busy week at work and i booked Envee to drop in, in the afternoon in addition to her usual walks. It has been such a load of my mind knowing Akira was cared for & fed whilst I was away for a more extended period. I come home to a happy & calm pup. Envee is super punctual & follows all instructions to the T! So grateful for her help!
