“Joe was wonderful with our pitbull and shih tzu! He was thoughtful, communicative, and attentive both before and during their care. He gave them plenty of walks, made sure they were comfortable, and kept us updated with pictures and messages. Joe was also very flexible and accommodating, which gave us great peace of mind. We would absolutely book with him again!”

“Best Rover Family ever! Two parents and their teens worked together to make their safe home and securely fenced yard inviting (welcome aboard greeting, clean and tidy). Happy “Bush Tails” throughout. Appreciated the simple timely & affectionate text & picture updates. punctual for drop off & pick up! Our 4-year old was happy throughout; relaxed and energetic when we picked her up.”

“Daisha and her husband were amazing!! My dog Xena does best in a household where she is the only dog and I’m so glad we found Daisha! We did a first introduction about a week or two before the dates booked so they could meet and get familiar with each other which went well. While Xena was boarded they sent pictures and updates at least once a day explaining how she was doing and adjusting. Thankfully Xena was comfortable and there were no problems but I’m certain if there was, we would be able to find a solution. Overall I am extremely happy I booked with Daisha and her husband and would definitely book again!!”
“I’m so glad to have left Teddy at Kathy’s care. From the initial meeting, I knew Teddy would be in good hands. Kathy is very thorough. She asked questions, made sure Teddy would be comfortable, and she really put my mind at ease while I was away. The updates were comforting and Teddy came home tired and happy. I will definitely book again and I highly recommend Kathy to anyone who’s looking to leave your fur baby in great hands.”

“This is my dog’s 3rd or 4th sit, and she clearly loves the family, already. My travel plans due to Labor Day ferrie, got really messed up and not at all what I had agreed upon, yet Daniel & Joelle were very forgiving, and accommodated quite a lot.”

“Kristina took wonderful care of our dog while we were away! Her communication is top notch and she was so accommodating and professional. Our pup returned happy, relaxed, exercised, and even smelling good 😊 We will definitely book with Kristina again!”

“I highly recommend Erika as a dog sitter! She provided exceptional care for our girl Ginger, with tons of adorable photos and frequent updates throughout the day. It was clear she was attentive and genuinely cared for my dog's well-being. I felt at ease knowing my furry friend was in Erika's capable hands, and we would definitely rebook with her again in the future.”

“Ashley is wonderful! My pup had a great time, with lots of cuddles and play time! Ashley gave daily report card updates, with great photos! She was very communicative and responsive. I can tell my pup was well-cared for! Highly recommend Ashley!”

“I highly recommend Molly for dog sitting in her home. She did everything possible to ensure my anxious Chihuahua was happy and comfortable. He ended up having a great time! We will definitely book with her again.”

“I left my dog with Maria for 8 nights while on a family vacation. I couldn't recommend her enough if you have a small old dog. She took such great care of Napoleon and he had a blast at Maria's house with all the other dogs. Maria is caring, provided daily updates (pics/videos), and is very detail oriented to ensure all dogs are cared for. We will definitely be booking with Maria again for our future boarding needs.”

“We loved every bit about our experience with Debra! As a first time Rover user, we wanted to find a host locally that our Molly would love… and Debra nailed it! I’m pretty sure Molly didn’t want to leave! Long walks, daily photo and video sessions, positive open communication, snuggles! We scheduled a pre-visit to get acquainted and I was so thankful we did because it made the whole experience so much less stressful. We will definitely use Debra for our next Rover stay!”

“Qi was a great & responsive host! Pepper got to play with other dogs & passed out when he got home. She was very patient with Pepper through his puppy shenanigans, as well. I appreciate Qi’s last minute availability which allowed me to get away for a quick weekend for July 4th. Will book again.”

“Riley was happy and well cared for. Abigail provided pictures and regular updates. She showed love and affection towards Riley and asked the right questions about feeding and walks etc. We will definately be using her again!”

“Samantha is a wonderful and sweet person who took great care of Milo! She was super understanding about Milo’s reactivity towards other dogs/people and sent lots of pics every day ☺️ She’s a great communicator and I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Melissa and Kyle did a fantastic job watching over Storm for the weekend! They gave me updates and photos along the way and were flexible to accommodate an earlier than planned pick up! Thank you for extending your wonderful home and welcoming Storm as part of the pack :) Looking forward to his next stay!”

“We always know our boy Zuko will be in the best hands when we leave him with Kirsten and her family. 💙 He has so much fun at their house and comes home nice and tired! 😄 I love that Kirsten sends pictures and updates and it’s so nice to know that he is getting lots of love and attention. 😊”

“It was my first time using Rover, and I could tell my dog enjoyed staying with Chuk. She sent daily updates and was responsive to all my questions. I had to drop my dog off early in the morning and pick her up late at night, which can be challenging, but she was incredibly flexible with the timing. Thank you so much!”

About: Raised around dogs (and cats) and would love to care for your pets in my home or yours. Comfortable with senior dogs as well as others. I am retired and available any time. I would need a couple of days' notice, preferably. I live in an apartment with a beautiful dog-walking area and nearby parks to walk in. I no longer have pets of my own, having just lost my 17-year-old Rat Terrier. I am comfortable with all dogs and cats. I can administer medications and make sure they feel safe with me. I don't push, but let them come to me when they feel ready. Separation from you is anxiety-inducing, and I do my best to calm them and let them now they are not alone.
“Sarah and Ben were so great with our two dogs. Orca and Rue were very quick to get comfortable, not an easy task for our highly anxious puppies and a true testament to Sarah and Ben! Highly recommend them and hope to use them again.”

Kathy is everything you want in a dog sitter! My anxious, not-very-social dog has a new bestie....Kathy! He had a fantastic stay with photos sent to me of him zooming around the yard or cozy on the couch. We already schedule two more weekends and Mack is excited to return to his new friend, Kathy.

I just don’t know if our babies can go anywhere on their “vacation” aside from Stan and Ulas. They always come back so happy and I love seeing the pictures of their beautiful yard with them running around and playing. Stan and Ula are wonderful people and I highly recommend them!

Tamar and Amy K. exceeded my expectations when taking care of Toby. I am new to the area and needed someone to watch Toby for a long extended trip. They were so flexible with me and answered all of my questions. They even let me visit and sneak in a quick day care session for Toby before his longer stay. They value safety for the dogs and social time and sent me pictures every day. It was nice knowing he was cared for and socializing while I was gone. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Everyone who works with them truly cares about the dogs and I know Toby is looking forward to going back!

Tyler and Alexis did a great job watching our anxious pup! They made sure he received the space he initially needs, and then once he warmed up met him at his comfort level. Overall I could tell my dog was very comfortable and we would definitely come back to have Tyler and Alexis watch Kenji again!

We “hit the jackpot” in finding Shannon & Bert! Our 9-year Bernedoodle (Griffey) is still a “puppy at heart” ..very active and excitable! To prepare for a week long stay, we did 3 days of daycare with Shannon & Bert. They kept us informed each day, and by the time our vacation arrived Griffey was accustomed to going there. Throughout our trip they put our minds at ease with their updates & photos! Knowing that Griffey was being so well cared for allowed us to thoroughly enjoy our trip! Griffey had his own little vacation with Shannon & Bert and (like us) came home happily tired! We highly recommend Shannon & Bert and will certainly book with them again!

Another wonderful stay for our pup with Erika!! She always goes above and beyond, sending photos and lots of detailed updates that show just how well she knows our girl. She truly loves Lyla like her own dog and makes our trips out of town completely worry free. Erika was extremely easy-going when our return flight was delayed by several hours, responding to my messages and updates quickly and keeping our pup for longer than planned!

Melissa & Kyle took excellent care of my 8 year old Lab, Betty. They are knowledgeable "dog people", attentive, and great communicators. Betty joined their 2 playful & active Goldens for a week of fun. Kyle is always around as he works from home. Their yard is exceptionally well fenced and we'll maintained. Betty will be back.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
