My 3.5 y/o corgi, Kiko, would tell you I love all dogs, almost too much. For the last 13+ years, I’ve been fortunate enough to be responsible for at least 1, and most of the time 2 dogs of my own. While I have no formal training or certifications , I’m great with puppies still learning a routine, senior dogs who need a strict routine and everyone in between. I’m a very calm human so even nervous dogs are comfortable with me.

Joe was wonderful with our pitbull and shih tzu! He was thoughtful, communicative, and attentive both before and during their care. He gave them plenty of walks, made sure they were comfortable, and kept us updated with pictures and messages. Joe was also very flexible and accommodating, which gave us great peace of mind. We would absolutely book with him again!
Jo took great care of Luna over the July 4th weekend. She was initially anxious to be left (she always is) but Jo took her for a walk to put her at ease and helped her settle in. She was in happy and good spirits when I picked her up. We loved getting the pictures and updates! We will book with Jo again!

Joe is absolutely fantastic with pups—patient, gentle, and genuinely tuned in to what each dog needs. He creates a calm, happy environment that even the shyest pups seem to trust instantly. You can tell he truly loves animals, and dogs light up around him. Anyone looking for someone reliable and caring with their furry friend would be lucky to have Joe.
Just stayed two weeks at our house and watched our three little terrier dog well we were on vacation. Joe had such a gentle manner with the puppies that they absolutely fell in love with him. He took them on daily walks in fact twice a day. And the dogs were thrilled. We were very happy with the way the dogs interact with Joe as these little guys can be a bit fussy about strangers. However, they welcomed Joe with open arms, and by the time we came back home from our vacation, the puppy dogs were absolutely in love with him! I highly recommend Joe to take care of anyone’s fur babies. He is sort of like a dog whisperer. We will definitely use Joe again in the future.

I currently work from home, so I’m really good for dogs who require a little extra attention or struggle being left alone for long periods.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a spacious two bedroom apartment with one flight of stairs and a nice balcony/patio for bird watching and sun bathing. When Kiko is here, we go on at least 3 walks a day, weather permitting, and make regular trips to various dog parks to see his friends throughout the week. When he’s not, we’ll still walk a lot but maybe fewer dog park visits unless that’s your dog’s thing too. If the cheapest sitter you can find is what you’re looking for, I’m not your person. However, under my watch, your dog will be safe, extremely well cared for, and loved like they are my own. Your dog will get the same care if I’m at your place and I share custody of Kiko, so his presence is not always guaranteed.

A typical day
Kiko and I live in a very walkable and dog friendly neighborhood. We go on several walks a day, visit our neighborhood dog friends at our local dog park, and stop in regularly, after work, for a pint at our favorite local brewery.
