“Ashley was awesome! I had major oral surgery and needed him cared for so I could heal without having to worry about my dogs care and she took such good care of my migi and sent me lots of updates and photos in the 6 nights she had him. She was very accommodating as well when we needed to change or do things differently in migi’s favor. Will def book her again in the future! Highly recommend 10/10.”

“It was my first time using Rover, and I could tell my dog enjoyed staying with Chuk. She sent daily updates and was responsive to all my questions. I had to drop my dog off early in the morning and pick her up late at night, which can be challenging, but she was incredibly flexible with the timing. Thank you so much!”

“I can’t say enough amazing things about Tamar. Not only was she super helpful before the boarding process but she was also in on my fiancé’s secret engagement proposal. This was our first time boarding our dog and using Rover and we will only come back for Tamar. She is super responsive and sends multiple pictures and videos of your pet on a daily basis. She is also super knowledgeable and you know you can trust her with all your pets needs. I appreciate that she gets the dogs out to play at parks as well. Thank you Tamar for the amazing experience and I highly recommend anyone use her for their pets boarding needs!!”

“Daisha and her husband were amazing!! My dog Xena does best in a household where she is the only dog and I’m so glad we found Daisha! We did a first introduction about a week or two before the dates booked so they could meet and get familiar with each other which went well. While Xena was boarded they sent pictures and updates at least once a day explaining how she was doing and adjusting. Thankfully Xena was comfortable and there were no problems but I’m certain if there was, we would be able to find a solution. Overall I am extremely happy I booked with Daisha and her husband and would definitely book again!!”
“Lindsey and her beautiful family took such great care of our pup for a few days! We loved the pics and updates while we were away, we can’t wait to book with Lindsey again.”

“Maria and Kalyan (and Nikko) made Millie feel so welcome and treated her as their own during her 6 night stay with them. Her and Nikko seemed to really get on, and we got lots of cute pictures of walks, play time, treats, and relaxing time! I felt so relaxed leaving Millie in their care. She’ll be back for sure!”

“Molly was great! We got plenty of updates and pictures throughout the day. One of our boys is slow to warm up and can be grumbly/barky with new people and she was very patient with him and both dogs seemed to have a great time!”

“If there were more than 5 stars I would select them all. I cannot recommend her enough! She took incredible care of Loki and truly treated him like royalty. Not only did she make sure he got plenty of walks and attention, but she also groomed him and made sure he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout his stay. What I appreciated most was her excellent communication. She sent frequent updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about Loki, and I came home to a happy, healthy, and well-loved pup. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: Hi , 👋 My home is conveniently located just 7 minutes from SeaTac Airport, making drop-off and pick-up easy for traveling pet parents. I have a Corgi who gets along well with other animals. Caring for pets is not just my full time work—it’s my passion. As I don’t have children, animals are a central part of my life, and every pet in my care is treated with genuine love and attention. With years of experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities, I focus on making every dog feel comfortable, happy, and secure. My home features a large fully fenced yard for supervised play and exercise. Our drop off and pick up is between 9am-9pm. Please let me know your ETA when you are on your way. Do not knock door or Ring door bell as that will upset other dogs in my house. Thank you! My house has three floors, each floor has own entrance door. if they don’t get along I can separate them. Usually I don’t crate dog unless they are destructive or not potty trained. All the dog I host requires fully vaccination. Please send me a copy of your dog’s vaccination records.
“Left our dog with Erica for a week and she was awesome. Had really great, caring questions for us prior to the stay that made it clear she really cares about the dogs she watches. Got daily updates with photos, would definitively have her watch our pup again.”

“Kristina took wonderful care of our dog while we were away! Her communication is top notch and she was so accommodating and professional. Our pup returned happy, relaxed, exercised, and even smelling good 😊 We will definitely book with Kristina again!”

“Milton loved staying with Maria over the weekend! She was very communicative and sent great photos & videos while I was away. I could tell Milton was very comfortable with her and her pups, so I did not have to worry about him. Highly recommend Maria and will be rebooking with her in the future. Thank you, Maria!!”

“Samantha did a great job with Mac for a 9 day visit! He returned home healthy and happy, and she kindly provided him toys which I forgot to pack. Since she has no pets of her own, Samantha is ideal for the dog who likes to be the "only child."”

About: My 3.5 y/o corgi, Kiko, would tell you I love all dogs, almost too much. For the last 13+ years, I’ve been fortunate enough to be responsible for at least 1, and most of the time 2 dogs of my own. While I have no formal training or certifications , I’m great with puppies still learning a routine, senior dogs who need a strict routine and everyone in between. I’m a very calm human so even nervous dogs are comfortable with me. I currently work from home, so I’m really good for dogs who require a little extra attention or struggle being left alone for long periods. I have a spacious two bedroom apartment with one flight of stairs and a nice balcony/patio for bird watching and sun bathing. When Kiko is here, we go on at least 3 walks a day, weather permitting, and make regular trips to various dog parks to see his friends throughout the week. When he’s not, we’ll still walk a lot but maybe fewer dog park visits unless that’s your dog’s thing too. If the cheapest sitter you can find is what you’re looking for, I’m not your person. However, under my watch, your dog will be safe, extremely well cared for, and loved like they are my own. Your dog will get the same care if I’m at your place and I share custody of Kiko, so his presence is not always guaranteed.
“Lily had a superior time with Kathy and Craig. She truly loves and understands dogs. Lily loved playing with all the dogs, and learned a few things about sharing. We have an 8 yr old cat, and they dont share much. We would recommend Kathy to anyone who wants a positive experience for their dog??”

“I am so happy that I found these wonderful guys to take care of my pups! They were very well taken care of and communication was great. I will be booking with them from now on!”
“Can’t say enough good things about Kizzie and how well she treated my cat! My cat had so much space to play, get comfortable, and feel at home. Kizzie sent detailed updates and lots of photos/videos which I loved so much!! My cat is such a spoiled boy and my entire family missed him so they loved seeing all the photos as well. Kizzie played with my cat so much, kept him entertained, stayed with him to make him feel comfortable throughout his stay. She slowly introduced her cat Moco to my cat and it was so adorable seeing them interact with one another. I would rate Kizzie 100/10!!”

“Betty and David are wonderful sitters! They always provide my dog the best care and attention and provide so many updates! If I could use them all the time, I would!”

“Colleen and her husband were perfect. It’s clear they understand dogs and know how to make them feel comfortable. Odin enjoyed our initial visit, and when we came back two months later for the drop off it was clear he was excited and happy to be there. We will absolutely ask them to watch Odin again.”

Ashley was so wonderful! She took such great care of our senior lab, Yogi. Communication was excellent, pickup and drop-off were seamless, and she sent sweet photos throughout his stay. It was obvious Yogi was well cared for and happy. We’d absolutely book with her again!

Isabella saved our trip after our normal sitter canceled last minute (the day before our departure) and looked after our doggies with so much car. Both dogs came home tuckered out from their walks outside and slept soundly when we got home. Isabella sent photos and updates throughout our trip to ease the anxiousness of leaving out pets with a new sitter. Will definitely book again in the future.

Tyler and Amanda took such good care of our dog, and was so thoughtful to send frequent updates and ask thorough questions. We were frequently reassured that our pup was in good hands while we were away. Extremely thoughtful and responsive, I would highly recommend and use again in the future.

Very communicative about my dog! Gave updates and pictures throughout the day. When my dog had a problem with allergies she immediately took him to the vet and made sure he was okay. She thoroughly made me feel okay during a stressful situation! Will definitely rebook on a long trip.

Daniel, Joelle and their family took care of my sweet boy. They were so fabulous to him. His daily trips to parks or the beach kept him entertained. The pictures I got made me feel so happy to see him so engaged. I've already arranged for them to watch him again later this summer. I felt very comfortable having Mickey in their home. A+!!
Tony was great! She was close by and had a big fenced yard with no kids and no pets just like I requested. Sugaree had a rough early life that resulted in some anxiety issues. Tony knew just what to do to help her feel comfortable for a long 2 week stay. She provided updates and photos regularly so I wouldn’t worry and had no problem when I had to pick Sugaree up a bit late. Highly recommended!!

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their SeaTac home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
