I would need a couple of days' notice, preferably. I live in an apartment with a beautiful dog-walking area and nearby parks to walk in. I no longer have pets of my own, having just lost my 17-year-old Rat Terrier. I am comfortable with all dogs and cats. I can administer medications and make sure they feel safe with me. I'm reliable, attentive, and excited to get to know your furry family member. I can't wait to meet your best friend and become their new favorite walking buddy! I work from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. They won't be left alone for long periods and will receive regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and lots of love. I do my best to maintain their normal routine so they feel comfortable, safe, and right at home while you're away. In my home, your pet will be treated like part of the family. I have a fully fenced yard where they can safely enjoy outdoor time, along with plenty of playtime, attention, affection, and a comfortable place to relax. I'll follow your pet's usual routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and at home. For drop-in visits or care in your home, I'll make sure your pet has everything they need during each visit. This includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks or walks, playtime, lots of love and attention, and, of course, plenty of cuddles if they enjoy them. I'll also follow any specific instructions you provide and send updates so you know your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.
About: I’ve been fostering cats of all ages and personalities for 1 year! I have experience with potty training, oral medication and topical applications. I am a psych student and take pride in my ability to read each cat and listen to their needs :) I’m currently a college student. I am at home most evenings, and can spend time with your cat! I have the entire day available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I have a large individual room to my own, a cat tree, window planes that is a favourite for cats to watch birds on two sides, multiple litter boxes, hide-able nests and beds. WINDOWS ARE SEALED.
About: We've always had dogs growing up and I've always been the one who took extra good care of them. Taking her on walks, gifting her special toys, and giving her all the loving she deserves. I've also dog sat for friends and family friends. I am currently a full time student athlete however my schedule is pretty flexible because all of my classes are online. I am pretty free every weekday after 2:30 pm. Saturdays are dependent on whether we have games or not. I available all day on Sundays. I care for my pets by taking them on walks, spending quality time with them, ensuring they have a clean and safe living environment at all times. If we go on walks, I choose routes that are safe and not on busy streets.

About: I’m just starting out with Rover but I have been a pet passionate person my entire life, and I’d love to meet yours! I worked as a veterinary technician through college and after, so I have lots of experience with medically complex cats and dogs. I also currently foster dogs and grew up fostering cats, so I’ve gotten to meet and learn about many breeds and different personalities. I’m honest, reliable, and I care deeply about the needs of animals. I also have experience caring for parrots, poultry, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and other small exotic pets. As a stay at home mom we are home and playing in the yard very often. I walk my dogs every single day, rain or shine, we love to explore! I have a securely fenced yard with a lovely garden and a big grassy area for playing. I love to treat new dogs like family and help them feel safe and loved.
About: I've been a pet care professional since 2016. It is the best job ever! Dogs are adorable and hilarious, yes, but the part I really love is trying to understand the motivations behind each dog. I know, food and walks, duh! But since adopting my high-anxiety dog 6 years ago, I have realized there is so much more to the doggie brain. Dog park trips are like an anthropological study for me!! I like to think I'm the Jane Goodall of dogs; I'm flattered when they confuse me for one of their own. Living among the canines has come very naturally to me, and frequently worry about the diminishing appeal of the human world. My mother has legitimate concerns that I'll never find a husband. Some have called me a dog whisperer, to which I say "Have you ever met a dog that whispers?" You can think of me more like a translator. I currently work from home and have open availability. If your dog cannot be left alone, they won't be. My own dog does not like to be separated from me, thus I'm comfortable arranging my life around the needs of dogs!! I use extreme care in assessing the environment to experience it the way your dog is, thus better understand behaviors and antecedent cues, and what is reinforcing the behavior.
