“Our girl Rebel was so happy to and well taken care of. We got lots of photos and updates daily, it gave it peace of mind trust our baby was well taken care of and being loved.”

“Sara was great, really wanted to make sure that our guys would be comfortable and did a walk through before a long weekend. One of our boys had a little tummy ache while there and Sara called immediately and gave me the details. I appreciated her approach and communication!”

“Gretta had a lovely stay and was excited to return to compete for the most pets. Photo updates and timely/flexible communication made coordinating easy and less stressful thank you!”

“We had a last minute need for a weekend boarding. Marina responded very quickly and took great care of Kona. She kept us updated with plenty of photos. Kona had a very good weekend. Thank you.”

“I am so happy that I found these wonderful guys to take care of my pups! They were very well taken care of and communication was great. I will be booking with them from now on!”
“Deborah took great care of Simba, she understands reactive dogs and gave him lots of great stimulation while working to avoid his triggers. He seems to have had a great time and we’ll definitely be back again soon!”

“Melissa and Kyle were so great!! Our pup had the best time with their two goldens. I could tell she was very well cared for and had a blast!!! Will definitely use them again!!! Thank you guys so much!”

“Daniel and Joelle are absolutely amazing. We were in a very hard situation with our aggressive dog. He has a hard time trusting new people, but Daniel and Joelle did everything in their power to make my dog feel comfortable and safe. They separated an area just for him, and put so much time and effort into Kairo. They went above and beyond. Highly recommend to anyone. Thank you so much Daniel, Joelle and to their children for accepting our baby last minute and giving him a chance. It means the world to us, and was the best birthday present anyone could have given me!!”

“Jennifer is so kind sweet and accommodating. She was able to get us in quickly for a meet and greet before we left Baloo for several days with her overnight. She is quick in responding and genuinely cares about all the dogs she sits for and thoughtful of how may she can manage at a time.”

“Rya is an extremely wise and inviting spirit of a woman and dog sitter, walker, and intuitive! If you want her to truly care with intellectual and openess to learn your dogs needs and properly give them a safe and relaxed, or fun depending on your dogs needs, she is Amazing! She worked with me getting my crate in her proposed place for my dog Chili. She was creative with her approach with Chili and he was safe and cared for boarding over night. Not only this, she worked with my late night schedule change for work. Meet and greet was utterly lovely and an enjoyable experience. She walked him, as well. Her communication with me how he was doing getting settled was so very much appreciated through texts and pictures of any changes she made caring for him. I had arrived early next morning, earlier than the end pick up time. My Bluetooth speaker lost charge and my alarm didn't sound into my bt. She had him longer than expected as I napped to consider her sleep being there earlier than pick up time. I recieved Chili and his crate and we departed, as she tended to her day. Mind you she worked her schedule around for both of us and I very much appreciated her willingness and her care for my Chili. I Highly recommend Rya for your dog care needs. I'd leave 20 stars if I could. Thank you so very much, Rya and rover.com. I have to leave her a tip and give her this more than deserving review. She exceeded my expectations and she will for your and your fur babies. Thousand thanks, Rya.”

“Quinten took such good care of our puppy! It was our first time leaving Margo for a night and we were a little anxious dropping her off. It reminded us of leaving our human babies with a sitter for the first time. But Quinten sent photos and videos and shared how she was playing with the other dogs in his care. It gave us peace of mind seeing her wagging her tail and getting cuddles. We will definitely have him care for Margo in the future!”

“Alex and Amanda did such an amazing job taking care of my bull terrier, Gizmo. It’s been a minute since he’s been away from me and not many people are knowledgeable about the breed, so I was very picky with who I wanted to leave him with. So glad I found them! And at the last minute too! They were very accommodating. I love that they do a meet and greet and slowly introduced the pack. You can tell they know what they are doing and genuinely care about every pup. They showed me around the areas where he and the pups have access to, which not many sitters do, so I definitely loved that. Their doggy den is one of a kind; You’re going to have to see it yourself! They invest so much in providing the best stay and making sure each pup (and owner) feel comfortable. They have a nice yard for the pups to play as well. I was updated with pictures and knew my furchild was in good hands. Can’t recommend them enough! We’ll definitely be back ?”

About: I've been pet sitting of a variety of breeds & sized dogs for over 13 years. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed, stay overnight, and play with their pets. I currently work from home full-time unless I am scheduled for out of town trips. I would have time for your pups. I am available most days, weekends, & overnight stays. I live in a cul de sac, and I have a fully fenced large yard. I would need your crate and / or dog bed for any overnight stays.
“They did a great job taking care of our two dogs. They took pictures, walked them and communicated daily. Highly recommend and would use their house sitting service again, great family!”

“Max always has such a great time with Kathy! She cares for him like he was her dog. He comes home happy and content! Our minds are always at ease when Max is with Kathy! ❤️”

“I would recommend L&L to anyone looking to get care for their beloved! Excellent communicators! So great with my doggo! Super accommodating and easy to work with! Can’t recommend them highly enough.”

Stephanie took great care of our frenchie, Nigel for 7 days. She had strong communication and provided lots of updates with pictures and videos, which I love! I can genuinely tell she has a love for dogs and left with a lot of comfort knowing our fur baby was at her home.

Daniel and Joelle are the best! They treated my dog with such love and attention that Piper didn't want to leave. They are a wonderful family who love animals and catered to Pipers needs whether that was howling along when Piper howled in the minutes after I dropped her off, or standing by and encouraging Piper to eat. I would rebook with no hesitation.

Our original sitter had an emergency, so we had to find a sitter quickly for an upcoming trip. Thank goodness we found Josh! It was lovely having Cherry at a home where only one dog is being watched, so she had all the attention to herself. Josh and Mario were very welcoming and I knew Cherry would be well cared for!

Merle is always well taken care of here. His medication schedule is followed, and she pays such close attention to detail. She was quick to inform me when he threw up, and tried everything I recommended when he wasn’t wasting. She even fed him by hand to get him to eat. Your baby will be well loved here.

We’ve boarded Noodle before, but wanted to see if our senior pup, Monty, would do well. We’re always nervous about him with new pups, as he can be a little grumpy, but he had such a great time this past week while we were on vacay. He had CCL surgery earlier this year, so we didn’t want to board him at Dogtopia like we usually do, as we know he doesn’t rest as much there. We felt so much better knowing he had his sissy with him, and that he would be spoiled silly especially during his bday week. Thank you again for taking such great care of our furbabies!!! ☺️

It was our first time booking with Ashley and she exceeded our expectations right way. She was inviting and friendly to us and our pup. She took him out plenty of times for walks and play and sent us updates throughout the stay. She truly alleviated our stress and our pups anxiety while we were away. Will definitely be returning! Thank you so much, Ashley!!

Shannon and Bert are wonderful. Rat has stayed with them several times over the years, and she is always genuinely happy to see them. They take excellent care of her, communicate clearly, and have been incredibly accommodating when unexpected travel plans have come up. It gives me tremendous peace of mind knowing Rat is with people who are so kind, attentive, and trustworthy. We are very grateful for Shannon and Bert, and recommend them wholeheartedly.

Trust when I say Yuri goes above and beyond! She has been really helpful in making sure both my cat and I feel comfortable about this transition while I am out of town. Also she has a clean space and sends pictures throughout the day, I looked forward to them! Thank you Yuri!!

Jenae is a fantastic, trusted sitter. She watched our nervous, shy dog during the 4th of July weekend, and it went very well. We got regular updates, and we were comfortable and assured leaving our pup with Jenae. This was our second time booking Jenae, and we'll choose her again the next time we're out of town.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
