“Jennifer is AMAZING! Very easy to work with, communicates well, and is flexible. She took Lola Rae on two walks a day and sent updates with pictures.”

“Amazing!! I felt like Leslie really cared about my dog and he had a great time at Leslie’s place. Frequent update with cute pictures and videos of my dog and many play times!! Would definitely recommend Leslie with confidence :)”

“My boys stayed with Alex for a week and they were cared for exceptionally well. I got daily messages with photos and videos with updates on how they were doing. Their dog space looks extremely well thought out and their yard is fully fenced. Will definitely use again!”

About: Hi , 👋 My home is conveniently located just 7 minutes from SeaTac Airport, making drop-off and pick-up easy for traveling pet parents. I have a Corgi who gets along well with other animals. Caring for pets is not just my full time work—it’s my passion. As I don’t have children, animals are a central part of my life, and every pet in my care is treated with genuine love and attention. With years of experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities, I focus on making every dog feel comfortable, happy, and secure. My home features a large fully fenced yard for supervised play and exercise. Our drop off and pick up is between 9am-9pm. Please let me know your ETA when you are on your way. Do not knock door or Ring door bell as that will upset other dogs in my house. Thank you! My house has three floors, each floor has own entrance door. if they don’t get along I can separate them. Usually I don’t crate dog unless they are destructive or not potty trained. All the dog I host requires fully vaccination. Please send me a copy of your dog’s vaccination records.
“Wow! My dog Issa’s stay with Richard was the best I could have hoped for. Our first meeting was a relaxed and helpful meet and greet before our trip to make sure Issa would get along with Richard’s dogs (who are super cute by the way). During the stay Richard sent me very frequent updates, pictures, videos. It was obvious Issa warmed up to her new temporary home quickly and got LOTS of love from Richard and his partner. The whole experience exceeded my expectations and I look forward to booking with Richard again.”

“Martha took great care of our two dogs for our 8 day trip! We appreciated the pictures throughout and how responsive and flexible she is. The dogs see very comfortable with her!”

“This was my third time to use Kizzie to take care of my two cats. My cats are immediately at ease in her presence and comfortable in the cat oasis she has created. She is thorough, responsible, detail oriented and flexible. Her daily updates give me such peach of mind. I will keep coming back to Kizzie when I need someone to watch my cats while I’m away.”

“Mylyn and Joseph came to the rescue to get our dog out of a bad sitter situation. They were honest, communicative, and genuine. Our dog was terrified from the previous situation and as such, was not the easiest, but they were patient and loving and got her settled. They truly care about animals and I was lucky rover helped me find them. Thank you again.”

“We are so thankful for Shannon's warmth & welcoming of our shy dog Rat into her home. She shared great updates (walks, cuddles, and more) & photos, which put me at ease, so that we could enjoy our time away. Getting Rat to and from Shannon was smooth as well. So much gratitude! ??”

“Rosa was a sweetheart and took really good care of our puppy ❤️ We felt perfectly good leaving our baby with her and picked up a happy camper ;-) Thanks Rosa, we'll hopefully see you again”

“You can tell Jeremy is a dog person right from the start. Great vibes all around! He is friendly, communicative, and extremely accommodating. My dogs had a pleasant experience, in fact Georgie didn’t even want to leave to go back home. We’ve already rebooked with Jeremy. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Vashti was amazing! She took such great care of my little Teddy! Took him on walks/hikes, gave him full access to a huge fenced in backyard and he became best friends with her golden retriver. Great communication as well. Teddy will be back for sure!”

“They did a great job taking care of our two dogs. They took pictures, walked them and communicated daily. Highly recommend and would use their house sitting service again, great family!”

“Sourabh took great care of Veeru. He send daily updates and pictures. My dog seemed to get along well with them and their pets. They took care of Veeru like their own dog evident from the pics. Veeru was definitely loved and spoiled. I had to make a modification to the itinerary after 5 days and he was extremely accommodating. Highly recommended Sourabh to care for you fur baby. Bonus point for house with back yard and for working from home so he was always able to keep an eye on veeru.”

“My dog loves his vacations at Kimiko’s house! Kimiko always sends lots of updates and pics, and my dog always looks like he’s having a great time. Kimiko clearly has a ton of experience with dogs. She takes her time to do slow introductions when introducing a new dog to her dogs, and makes sure that all the dogs are comfortable. She also has plenty of gates in the yard and the house so that she can separate the dogs if they’re not comfortable together. I also appreciate that Kimiko crates the dogs when she’s not at home to keep them safe.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Normandy Park
First time I have left my babies with anyone from Rover and I am SO happy I went with Lindsey and Jason. They have a perfect set up for dogs, they made sure they knew the dogs eating/potty schedules and they sent many photo updates and were quick to respond anytime I had a question. Highly recommend - will be using them in the future!!

Very communicative about my dog! Gave updates and pictures throughout the day. When my dog had a problem with allergies she immediately took him to the vet and made sure he was okay. She thoroughly made me feel okay during a stressful situation! Will definitely rebook on a long trip.

Akira had such a fun time with Stephanie whilst i was away on vacation. I knew Akira would be in great hands with Stephanie & Antonio from the meet & greet. During her stay I got loads of pictures & videos of Akira being cuddly, goofy, funny and just living her best life. She was a very happy girl to say the least! Stephanie is very communicative, punctual & helpful. Would recommend & would book again! Thank you!!

Ashley was amazing keeping us updated on how our pup was doing as she was nervous to leave us during the start. She settled so quickly thanks to the things Ashley did to make her comfortable and kept her in a routine. Our pup seemed to love being there and I would book again in a heartbeat!

Daniel, Joelle and their family took care of my sweet boy. They were so fabulous to him. His daily trips to parks or the beach kept him entertained. The pictures I got made me feel so happy to see him so engaged. I've already arranged for them to watch him again later this summer. I felt very comfortable having Mickey in their home. A+!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
