Shannon is a flight attendant with a varied schedule that allows her to be home for extended days. Her happy place is being a full time stay at home dog mom. Her schedule can be adjusted to fit requests, given sufficient notice. Bert works from home and is an excellent full time companion to our fur babies and fur guests alike.

Our home is calm but active. We live in a roomy single family home with a large fenced yard that affords lots of things yo sniff and explore. It'szworth noting thatxwe do have a pool, if your pup is one who enjoys swimming. We do not let dogs out by the pool without supervision though). Shannon travels for work part time, and when home for blocks of time enjoys hosting pups. Her schedule cam adjust easily to accommodate sitting requests. Bert works from home part time, and a great companion for visiting pups. If your dog is active and can appreciate a run, Bert would love to take on a run around our neighborhood! We do have our own toothless senior small dogs, so we do ask any potential dog guests be small dog friendly.

I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes. It's always helpful to know personality type and any special needs for consideration, such as separation anxiety or resource guarding.

Your dog's sleeping arrangement However he's comfortable - his own bed, my bed, or his own crate if that is his happy place. We do have dog beds scattered all around the house, and you are welcome to bring a favorite blanket, crate, or special bed.

After a pause on Rover, we are back and with a new home, new neighborhood, more space, and ready to welcome your pup. We are long term dog parents who love all pups and enjoying spending free time with four legged friends. Dogs who stay with us enjoy 2-3 walks/ day, in addition to regular potty breaks. We are experienced with special needs, administering medication, and senior dogs. If you have an active dog who enjoys running, Bert is your guy! He's been known to take guest pups on runs, parent permitting.

My pup Lucy had a great stay at Shannon & Bert's today! She made herself right at home and really seemed to enjoy herself. Lucy was well taken care of and it was clear that keeping her safe and comfortable was top priority. Shannon & Bert were wonderful and accommodated me on short notice. Lucy would definitely like to come back one day, thanks so much!
