“This was our first time staying with Quang and my dog, Leia had the best stay! Their chocolate lab Boo was the perfect companion along with the other dogs he was boarding at the same time. His communication was very prompt and I got a ton of videos and pictures to see how well my pup was doing while we were gone. He has a nice fenced area for the dogs to play and works from home so that is a plus. He is very attentive. Highly recommend Quang!”

“Rebecca was a dream come true! We always worry about our dog when he’s being watched by other people, but this was the first time I was truly at ease leaving him with someone new. I fully believe he had more fun than we did while we were away! She took him for walks every day, played ball with him, and made sure he had all the snuggles he wanted. She even let him play in the water during one of their hikes, which is the only thing he loves as much as his ball! We were updated daily on how he was doing and I looked forward to the photos of his adventures. The only reason I’m hesitant to leave a review is because we want her to be available for the next time we travel! Choosing her to watch you dog is a no brainer and we are so lucky to have found her!”

“Amazing!! I felt like Leslie really cared about my dog and he had a great time at Leslie’s place. Frequent update with cute pictures and videos of my dog and many play times!! Would definitely recommend Leslie with confidence :)”

“Jamie and her family did such a great job of helping Orca feel at home. She was very thoughtful about how she interacted with Orca and made sure she understood the details around her medication needs. It was wonderful to get daily updates, both pictures and video. Orca did so well and I think it was not only because Jamie did a great job engaging with her and being aware of her needs but because she provided a relaxed but structured environment where Orca knew what to expect and was able to relax and not be on edge in this new environment. We hope that Jamie will become our primary caregiver for Orca.”

“Cheryl took great care of Knuckles, and sent many photos and videos of her playing and having a good time with the other dogs! She was easy to get in touch with and very kind with our dog! I would recommend her to anyone who needs a reliable sitter!”

“Ani and Pallavi were wonderful with our dog, Ducky. They were very thoughtful about his needs. They communicated with me and sent photos. We will definitely be booking with them again!”

“My dogs had a wonderful time at McKenna's house! They got along great with Jaxx, and I could tell how happy they were from McKenna’s daily updates. Both of my dogs are seniors who need extra care and medication, and McKenna took good care of them. She was easy to communicate with and always attentive to their needs. Highly recommend!”

“Lilo's stay with Akiko was wonderful! Her daily updates/photos were so helpful that we started looking forward to the day's update. She had all of Lilo's things organized when we picked her up. Lilo came back a happy dog. Would definitely book her again in the future.”

“Kizzie went above and beyond to help get nervous Ollie safely delivered to her “spa”. And the joke was on him! He had a lovely time and bonded with Kizzie quickly. Kizzie is truly a cat whisperer and has a caring heart, and also provided thoughtful guidance based on her experience. Ollie and I look forward to seeing Kizzie again!”

“Nafa seemed to have a wonderful time with Daria, and came hope tired and happy. Daria was easy to communicate and plan with, and sent lots of cute pictures of my dog throughout the stay. Thank you!”

“Xiangmin always takes first class care of Samuel and sends regular updates on how he is doing. Sam is a puppy and Xiangmin helps us to maintain his training while she cares for him which has been both short term visits and a long term stay while we are on vacation. We will continue to book Sam with Xiangmin, he is so happy every time we drop him off!”

“Chris did incredible job taking care of Chewy. She got walks and snuggles and cuddles, and I got daily updates with pictures. Highly recommend his services and definitely going to bring my dog to him again.”

“Dahye was absolutely amazing! After a little over 2 weeks she had our sweet pup crate trained and potty trained. She showered him love. I loved that she sent daily updates on his behavior and pictures. Would absolutely book again!”

“Hyeyoung and her family took great care of George! She sent great updates each day about George. Her photos are amazing! She made George look like a vogue doggy. I will 100% be rebooking with her!”

“Deborah was amazing with my pup. I could tell Kona enjoyed her stay and there was great communication. So grateful to have found someone I can trust to watch Kona while I’m away!”
“Alexis was so wonderful and Bear was so happy. She was patient with him getting adjusted, and loved playing with her two dogs. Such a wonderful "vacation" for him!”

“Min was great! She took care of Sunshine for almost 3 weeks, every day she’d send a photo and tell us how she was doing! Sunshine seemed so happy when we pocked her up. Would definitely recommend Min!”

“We boarded our sweet dog Remy for 3 days and 2 nights with Liz. We had a stress free getaway because of the care provided by Liz and the updates she sent. We wanted him on walks with a muzzle as he is under training and she expertly handled his walks. He had a great time in her yard, she setup his puzzles and he was fully at home. He is not a big snuggle bug but he has snuggled with Liz which shows he was very comfortable with her. We will definitely take Liz’s help for boarding! Highly recommend!”

Zeus was so excited to go back to Andrew’s! As always, he had a great time, which was obvious from all the photos and videos we received. It’s always such a stress free, easy experience for all of us. We know Zeus is in great hands, and we couldn’t ask for a better sitter!

Rebecca was absolutely wonderful! I am always a bit nervous leaving my pup with new folks. This is the first time Rebecca watched Misiu. Upon meeting her I knew she was the right person and would provide the care, attention, awareness and comfort to my dog. She is very communicative, responsible and caring. She took care of him very well. I received pictures multiple times a day, she made sure to update me on how he did after eating, going on a walk, and how his day was. I felt so at peace knowing that my dog is with her. She is my number #1 dog sitter for sure! 💕

This was our first time boarding Bentley away from home. Candace helped us get him acclimated to her place with a meet and greet and playdate with her dogs before we dropped him off for the weekend. She kept in touch with us about how he was settling in, and made sure he got the attention he needed to feel comfortable.
He has taken care of our pet, Golu, twice, and both times he made sure to keep us updated with regular messages and photos. He took wonderful care of Golu, and we could tell he genuinely cared for him. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our Golu!

Kirsten was wonderful to work with! She was incredibly flexible and patient with my schedule, making both drop-off and pick-up easy and stress-free. She was kind, caring, and genuinely compassionate, and it was clear how much she loves animals. I felt completely comfortable leaving my cat in her care and knew my cat was in great hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Kirsten again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable pet sitter.

Sheila was an amazing host to our Mini Labradoodle. Her dog Teddy bonded with our Millie and made her stay with Sheila so much better. We received many pictures of Millie everyday which made us feel even better about leaving her while on vacation. We definitely will have Millie stay with Sheila and Teddy next time we need a sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
