“I left my dog with Akiko for 5 nights while I was on vacation. From first contact, Akiko was very friendly and accommodated all of my needs. My dog is an older dog and an only child so he has habits (not being in a crate, sleeping on the couch, etc) and Akiko was fine with it all. Pre-Visit - Akiko came outside to meet Jesse. They made an instant connection and I knew that she would work out. This was my first time ever leaving my dog for any extended period of time. Meeting Akiko for the first time extinguished any doubt or nervousness I was feeling about being away so long. During vacation - Akiko was amazing about sending me updates and pics/videos to let me know how Jesse was doing. I had no doubt in my mind that he was being well cared for. Pick-up - After my vacation, Akiko was very flexible about my coming to pick up Jesse. When I arrived, Akiko had everything packed and ready to going. That was a blessing because I was exhausted after my trip. About: I have experience caring for friends' dogs, as well my previous Retriever mix Lucky. I had her for 13 years from her energetic puppy years to a senior who needed a lot of attention and medication. About: We have been caring for dogs for many years. Starting from puppies to full grown dogs over the years and know how to understand what a dog needs for a healthy, happy, and full life. Aharon works from home most of the time. With just one dog at home it would be easy to add another. It’s easy to add another to the pack! We take our dogs outside for exercise twice a day and have play sessions in between. We have 1200 sqft of interior space for the dogs to play and chill with a fenced backyard. There’s also a dog park almost right in our backyard where we go to all the time. The area is residential and lots of families around that know us.
