About: Pets have been my life ever since I was five years old. I wasn't a caretaker at that age, but I've fostered a close connection and understanding towards pets ever since. As I got older, my responsibilities grew in kind, and I became much more involved in the day-to-day care of dogs and cats. I've been fortunate to be a part of six dogs lives, and each have brought different temperaments, attitudes, and energy levels. Four of the six were rescues, so I understand the patience and attentiveness needed to properly address their needs and quirks. I also helped raise a 10 week old puppy into adulthood, so I am very familiar with what it takes to handle the stubbornness and energy of a young pup. While it's been some time since my cat has passed away, I likewise share a similar understanding to their needs and socialization. It requires a different approach than a dog but I am happy to adapt to the pet at hand and ensure they receive the best care possible. I have returned from a term of service abroad in the Peace Corps, and am currently searching for employment as I settle back in the states. I will be living in Washington for the time being before I set off to grad school. As such, my schedule is fairly open for dog walking and check-ins. Some of my fondest memories abroad was walking around the countryside in my spare time, so I'm excited to continue that here with some new friends! I will ensure that the pets' needs are addressed in full with the client before I take on the service, and adhere to the directions advised. I cannot currently board pets at my home, but I am happy to check in on pets whilst abiding by the rules of my client's homes.

About: I’ve grown up caring for animals of all kinds, including large-breed dogs, cats, chickens, and horses. I have especially extensive experience with large dogs and senior pets. I recently lost my Doberman Pinscher at nearly 15 years old, and we currently have a 14-year-old Siberian Husky. As a stay at home mom, I have a flexible daytime schedule and am home much of the day. My routine mainly revolves around school drop-offs, pick-ups, and after-school activities, which leaves me largely available during the morning and early afternoon when many pet owners are away at work. This gives me plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, playtime, feeding, and pets who need a little extra attention throughout the day. I’ve spent my life around animals and understand that every pet has different boundaries, routines, and comfort levels. I’m comfortable with large breeds, senior dogs, crates, mobility needs, and pets requiring extra care. Our home has fully fenced front and back yards, indoor and outdoor security cameras, and baby gates that allow us to safely separate pets from other dogs, children, or food when needed. We also have dog beds, toys, and plenty of clean water bowls available for their comfort. Our children have been raised around large dogs and understand dog safety, including respecting a pet’s space around food, beds, crates, and while resting. I’m happy to follow each owner’s normal routine and household rules so their pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with us.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for years and have had a dog before! I help out with my friends dogs all the time and love going on walks! I’m currently in between getting jobs so my availability is completely open and I can help out and walk and play with dogs whenever needed! I am very gentle and pets tend to like me a lot! After reading through A LOT of sitter profiles, Marcea stood out the most to us as someone we felt could be a good fit. Our 9yrs old bloodhound had a rough start in life, and came to me at 2yrs old as an anxious, leash-aggressive, separation anxiety, osteo-arthritic, quirky dog. Through behavioral training and medication management, his life is more calm and stable, but he requires structure, routine, and calm patient love and understanding. After a combining households move that put our dog hanging at home alone 3 days a week, I knew we needed to hire someone for drop-in visits. Enter Marcea. Our slow-to-trust anxious boy took to Marcea instantly! She is so kind and calm and loving with him, he looks so much happier after work on scheduled drop-ins. And when the trash can got left in the kitchen and our dog, true to his bloodhound nature, needed to investigate and eat the fine trash can delicacies, Marcea instantly sprung into action. She contacted us immediately out of concern for our pup and his safety, and luckily there wasn’t anything in the garbage that was life threatening, but what a relief she was there (and she cleaned up the mess without any complaint or chastising). If you, like me, have a pup with quirks and anxiety and leaving them alone or with a new person makes you nervous and alters your lifestyle, do yourself a favor and hire Marcea. This is the sixth time I’ve had Annie take care of my cat, Edgar, while we’ve been away, and once again, she was absolutely wonderful! I honestly couldn’t be happier with her. Annie takes such great care of Edgar, and she always leaves everything clean and tidy. She is also incredibly responsive and always willing to help, even with little things that aren’t really part of her pet-sitting duties, like taking care of the trash while we were away. I have complete trust in Annie, which gives me such peace of mind whenever we travel. I always come home to a clean house, a clean litter box, and clean food and water bowls. Most importantly, Edgar is happy and well taken care of. I will definitely continue booking Annie whenever we travel. Emily always goes above and beyond to do her job. ALWAYS. I don’t think she treats taking care of others’ pets as a job, she genuinely care about the dogs she is asked to walk and visit and commits to make sure their needs are met. A good baby sitter is like gold, the dogs and their humans have to be extremely lucky to have Emily in their lives.
We had a wonderful experience with Sage. Very communicative and caring, with extra time spent with our cat when she wasn’t behaving well. Sage also cleaned up after her, which we really appreciated. We felt our cat was in great hands and would definitely recommend Sage!
Hayley was an excellent sitter for my cat! I’m always nervous when I’m away, but Hayley’s communication and photo updates really put my anxiety at ease. She was punctual, clean, and did a great job administering my cat’s medicine. She used the remaining appointment time to play with my cat, so she was nice and tuckered out by the time I got home. I would 100% recommend her services!
