About: I've had family pets since I was a child and gravitate towards dogs as an adult. I learned a lot about dog training as a puppy raiser for a service dog organization, in this role I fostered and trained a service puppy for a year! I love being in the outdoors and will often take dogs out on hikes or mountain bike rides. I work full-time, but only in the evenings and occasional weekends. My partner works a normal 9-5 so generally a dog would not be alone longer than 4-5 hours. We have a small/medium sized fenced-in backyard for play and potty breaks. I understand it can be anxiety inducing to leave your pup with a stranger, so I will communicate with daily updates/photos/videos to let you know how it's going. When pups are left alone I want them to be safe, especially being in a new space, so I will use a crate if that's something they are used to. I am fine with other arrangements too if you feel it is safe to do so.

About: Been a pet owner in some form since age 7, worked at a dog day care in Edmonds facility for 5 years and I am the go-to for all my friends and family for pet care when they are away. I'm very good at reading cats and dogs, adore spending time with them and love the exercise that comes with walks. I am currently a student taking night classes, I have open availability all week especially in the daytime but am open to night walks that work with my school schedule! Currently only have class Monday and Wednesday starting at 6pm. I have dog and cat sat in the past for various neighbors and friends, always respectful will spend as little or as much time as the home as you want!

About: I've taken care of family pets since I was young, and I recognize that every dog might need a unique outlook. I was trained by my sister who is an animal behavior specialist to look out for tells and try different approaches when one isn't working. I've cared for dogs big and small, from 80lb labs with crazy energy to timid teacups, and every house I've lived in for the last 15 years has had at least one feline friend. I work from home and have ample transportation, so I'm pretty flexible with my schedule, especially in the afternoon. I'm open to anywhere in the Seattle area, but I can get to anywhere in Tukwila/Renton/Rainier Valley the quickest. Every pet parent has their own methods, and I would love to hear what works best for you - if you have a particular feeding, crating, or walking ritual, I will adapt to this and make it routine. I'm also open to experimenting- if something isn't working for your pet and you want to try a different approach, I'd love to learn with you what works best.

About: We make sure to take care of all your pet needs. Our downstairs and upstairs is spacious enough to house your furry friends big or small. We offer nature walks around the many trails in our area to keep your pet happy and active. Please reach out to me at least one day in advance to schedule a pet sitting. I'm aways available and respond within the hour every day. We make sure to understand your pets boundries and happy to learn what makes them feel at home. They get 24/ 7 surveillance as we both work from home !

About: I have always loved animals and always had a pet or two when I was growing up. I used to be a human caregiver lol. Now super excited to care for you're fur babies of all sizes! Being a dogless person now since my fur baby crossed the rainbow, this is my chance to get my "fur fix"! I am currently working part-time and helping with my father, but I believe this pet-sitting opportunity would be a fulfilling way to combat stress and satisfy my love for animals. I'm accustomed to working in other people's homes because of my caregiving work, especially with seniors and their pets. About: I have worked as a professional dog walker for 5 years. It is the best job ever. Dogs are adorable and hilarious, yes, but the part I really love is trying to understand the motivations behind each dog. I know, food and walks, duh! But since adopting my high-anxiety dog 6 years ago, I have realized there is so much more to the doggie brain. Dog park trips are like an anthropological study for me!! I like to think I'm the Jane Goodall of dogs; I'm flattered when they confuse me for one of their own. Living among the canines has come very naturally to me, and frequently worry about the diminishing appeal of the human world. My mother has legitimate concerns that I'll never find a husband. Some have called me a dog whisperer, to which I say "Have you ever met a dog that whispers?" You can think of me more like a translator. I currently work from home and have open availability. If your dog cannot be left alone, they won't be. My own dog does not like to be separated from me, thus I'm comfortable arranging my life around the needs of dogs!! I use extreme care in assessing the environment to experience it the way your dog is, thus better understand behaviors and antecedent cues, and what is reinforcing the behavior.
