“Carly is the best walker! My dog is really nervous when I’m out of town and had an accident. Carly went above and beyond and cleaned up after her, which I so appreciate!! Thank you Carly!!”

About: I’m a gentle and active pet lover with lifelong experience caring for animals. I currently have a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd and have grown up with pets, including cats, a Doberman, and another Aussie, so I’m comfortable with many breeds and personalities. I love staying active with dogs and understand how important both physical exercise and mental stimulation are. I enjoy walks, playtime, and enrichment activities that keep dogs happy, balanced, and well-behaved. I’ve also cared for cats and understand their unique needs and routines. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and engaged while their owners are away. Weekdays I am available early mornings to afternoon until 4 pm. Weekends: depending, case by case basis. Sundays after 12 pm. Please write in advance. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow their routine closely, ensure they are always supervised, and adjust care based on their needs. I provide a calm, positive environment and keep your home clean and respected while caring for your pet. I also make sure they get both physical exercise and mental stimulation through safe, engaging activities.
About: I’ve spent my whole life caring for pets. From 6 to 18, I helped take care of my family’s Pomeranian. Right after moving out at 18, I adopted my oldest cat, Kiki, who was 4 months old. At 20, I adopted my second cat, Arya, who was 2 months old. At 23, I adopted my third cat, Banana, who was also 2 months old. Kiki is almost 9 now, and over the years I’ve administered them all many different types of medications and cared for them through chronic illnesses and surgeries. I don’t have room at home for any more pets, but I have room in my heart for yours! I’m currently available to drop in and care for your pet. I may be able to drop in multiple times a day, subject to availability. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions or would like to discuss multiple daily drop ins. My cats have full access to my house, and are kept indoors at all times. They have 3 daily meals. Dinner includes administration of long-term medications and supplements. If your pet has specific dietary needs or health concerns, let me know!
“Alex was amazing! Very kind and communicative and Fred was always very happy to see her and came back tired and happy from all their walks. It’s obvious they are an animal lover and knew Fred was in good hands. Alex was able help me out in a last minute pinch and I so appreciate their flexibility!! Would rebook in an instant in the future. Thank you Alex!!”

About: I'm paw-sitively the best option, I'm not kitten around! If you choose to leave your pet with me you won't have to worry! I have had a vast array of pets since I was a young boy; cats, dogs, iguanas, even a possum and a crow at one point. Your pets care and comfort are my priority. Upon choosing me as your caretaker your pets won't feel sad to have you gone, they will be thinking "when will that one guy with the treats be here?". I have experience with puppies, kittens and dogs of all sizes. I am an elevator technician but was laid off, I'll be back to work as soon as there is more work, but until then getting paid to hang out with all sorts of animals hardly seems like work! Seems like a healthy, fun way to pass the time and make a little money on the side. A win win situation! As of now I don't do in home sitting because I own a condo, one dog is plenty here! Maybe in the future I will open this option.
About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors cats when she goes on vacation- I volunteer consistently at Regional Animal Services of King County, I also have been involved in animal rescue for about 16 years now. I volunteer for Feral Cat Assistance and Trapping and South County Cats. I also foster animals from the animal shelter. I also have my own animals who are well loved and cared for! 😊 I have open availability at this time as my schedule is not a set schedule with my rescue work. I am happy to set my schedule according to the client’s needs. I usually will care for client’s animals in their home since I have cats of my own. But I do have an area for my fosters in my home. I’ll usually go over to a clients home to check on the animals and tend to them and come back as often as needed depending on what the client asks for.
About: I have worked with animals for the last 9 years because of my profound love of animals..I worked at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle for 4 years. I worked there with exotic animals from as small as a cockroach to as big as a porcupine. I worked with a variety of reptiles and rodents, and I have also previously owned dogs, fish, rats, and a rabbit and I currently have three dogs. I am well educated about caring for the specific physical and mental needs of animals because of my position at the Woodland Park Zoo, and my degree in Animal Management from Washington State University. I recently graduated and completed a Dog Training Apprenticeship at a Facility in Pullman that specializes in Service and Therapy Dogs. I have also worked previously with horses, sheep, and assisting goats with neonatal care. I’m the perfect person to watch your pet because of my attention to detail, profound admiration for animals, and strong work ethic. I will care for them as if they are my own. Pet Care is the main focus of my daily life, and I am pursuing it Full Time. I am prepared to make your pet a priority. I have an extensive history working in pet care, and plan to remain in this field longterm. I always come alone to clients homes and provide pets with the same love their families do. I’m there to make things better, not worse. Its important to me to communicate with owners during my time with their pets, and learn as much as I can from them to provide top notch care.
About: Back again after a hiatus!! I’ve owned dogs nearly my entire life! Right now, my 6 y/o German Shepherd is the highlight of my life. S/O to any members of the #PNWGSDPACK! I have a lot a experience with dogs (and cats) of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels— at all different stages of life. I can also take care of your pet’s medications and meals if you have specific feeding instructions. I’m a relatively flexible dog walker/sitter because I work from home. I can do drop-ins and occasional house sitting if my schedule permits it. As someone who worked day in and day out with dogs, I can say that I’m a bit more experienced than the average sitter & I’m familiar with body language & signs of distress, as well as the critical signs. All of which I’ve learned while working at the daycare. I know how to interact and introduce myself to dogs who do not know me well & I have patience for the crazy wild dogs, to the shy & slow to warm dogs. I take extra care in keeping your pet safe, even carrying mace on walks if at any point we are approached by an unfriendly unleashed dog (yes it’s happened before lol and yes I’ve had to break up countless of tussles between dogs at work). As a dog mama myself, I want to give you peace of mind that your pet is safe when you’re not with them! Communication is very important to me, I take and send lots of pictures. I also let pet parents know how their pets behave around me. It makes them feel more comfortable when they know their pets are relaxed and friendly during my visits! From one pet parent to another, I know that our pets are our kids too!! So rest assured that your babies are in great hands! True animal lovers have compassion and care for every pet they meet. *To all my OG clients, thank you for booking me & giving me a chance when I had no reviews and thank you for continuing to book me to care for the furry kiddos time and time again! I’m so glad to have built friendships through your pets & I’m so grateful for you! I work from home during the week. I am able very flexible during my work day! I am unavailable on the weekends and sometimes in the evenings due to taking care of my household. I have been taught safety precautions from my previous kennel job. With tons of different dogs with different personalities, I’m really adamant about home security- keeping things out of reach for pets, opening and closing doors carefully.
About: Hi there! Thanks for looking at my profile :) I’m excited to have the opportunity to give your loved one the utmost attention and playful care. I didn’t have pets growing up, but that never stopped me from dog sitting for family pets. As an adult, i now have an 8 year old Labrador while still making time for drop ins and care of my friends cats and dogs. I know how important it is to trust the person watching your pet and I will make it my utmost priority that you and your pet feel safe and taken care of under my care! I am a graduate student at the UW and so my schedule is quite flexible. Particularly on work from home days. During commute days, it’s not a problem for me to check in on pets during the day! I will make sure to abide by any and all rules you’ve set forth for my time with your pets. And won’t take a job unless I’m fully confident in my capability to do so!
“Brendan always does great with our boy Milo, who is an anxious and hard to walk pup. Brendan always shows up on time and provides Milo with stimulating walks for the entire duration of the booking.”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and have loved taking care of friends and family members pets (big and small) at any time of need. My work schedule is flexible, I am reliable, very detail-oriented and dedicated to respecting your needs for your pet. I personally have a 2 year old pitbull who we got at 8wks and trained ourselves so I am well versed in puppy care. I’ve also had childhood pets through senior age and can accommodate their needs as well. I work 1-2 days in office (typically Monday/Friday) and spend my other days working from home. My job is very flexible so I am able to leave to take care of pets any time of day. I also have weekend availability! Having a dog of our own and owning our condo, I can understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet in someone else’s care especially when you welcome them into your home. I am happy to walk, cuddle, play with and care for your pet according to your wishes as well as respect your space. My goal is to ensure both you and your pet are comfortable and happy.

I have experience with basic obedience training, canine first aid, and grooming. I absolutely adore animals and can practically feel the time flying by when I spend time with them. About: I’ve cared for dogs since I was very young, including house sitting and dog walking. I have worked with dogs, young and old, and given them the same amount of love! I’m an avid dog lover with a soft spot for snuggly pups. When you go with me, you have the Dom Guarantee that your pup will be treated like family! I currently work part-time and am a high school and college student. I am available usually after two on weekdays and I am flexible on weekends. I personally am unable to house your pups but at yours I am very good at following routines making sure your dogs feel like you never left!
“Amazing service! Their walks were always a good distance, and the dogs were so healthy and happy when we came home. I know it can be hard on them when we are gone for more than a couple of days. It was so good to see them well cared for. I can tell they were loved”

“Patrick was fantastic with our dogs. He was incredibly patient with them and won over our pups who are normally very wary of strangers. He was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly to any messages. Would highly recommend him for your power care needs.”

“We just moved to the area and are blessed to have found Beth on Rover! Beth is a loving and conscientious pet owner herself. She understands that our pets are family members. ^__^ We have Beth scheduled to come and take them on a daily walk during the work week. I can tell that they get a good long daily walk and that they are enjoying themselves! She is professional, caring, very responsive & informative with pictures and updates throughout the walks, kind, detail orientated, has amazing communication skills and all around someone we can trust with our pups and in our home. She always takes great care of the pups, gives me a full review of their walk each and every day along with pictures of my two boys. We HIGHLY recommend BETH!”

Tukwila dog parents share their Rover experiences
Natalie is one of the best dog walkers I found on the app. She is experienced in walking large and sometimes reactive dogs and is very patient, assertive and kind with Cila. She is lovely to work with--always extremely communicative and flexible. I cannot recommend her enough! She is a rockstar and Cilantro and I are so lucky to have her as our dog walker!

From the beginning Coburn was very communicative and pleasant to work with. He listened to our instructions,, gave us some constructive input, and was very accommodating. The pups loved the hour long walk around the neighborhood., Coburn provided an update and a great picture during their walk. I would definitely recommend his services.

Luke is great and very communicative. He told me he found one of the pups had an accident when he arrived and offered to clean it up. He also filled their water before he left since their bowl was empty. The pups seemed to have really enjoyed their first walk with him! We’re looking forward to booking him in the future!
