Pet care experience
Elder Dog Expert
I love dogs of all ages, but I adore oldies. I have learned so much in the past 10 years from the four elderly dogs I’ve had the honor to care for. I’d love to be your old dog’s new buddy. I have experience with complicated medication, exercise and other senior dog routine needs: v e r y slow walks, frequent or late-night outings, accidents, nausea, picky eating... I’m experienced comforting dogs who get confused or anxious, and managing multiple older dogs in the home. I have experience with puppies too! I raised guide dogs for the blind for 5 years, and have some basic puppy training/socializing skills.

Ratings and reviews
Very attentive and adaptive with our unusual pet needs. An absolute delight to work with, highly reliable!
Laurel is a great cat sitter who will care for your kitties so you can get away. They were communicative, helpful, and showed care for both my outgoing cat and the shy cat making sure I got pictures everyday.

Thank you for everything!

Thank you!

Laurel is great. She helped out with our dog even with late notice. Highly recommend!

Laurel was great with our dog, Murray. He had a nice walk and ate well for her. She loves dogs and it shows! I would highly recommend Laurel to any dog owner that wants a person who will take good care of your furry kiddo.

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I’m working part time before beginning a grad school program in August - my schedule is very flexible, which makes me a great fit whether you have a variable schedule or have the need for a reliable repeat sitter.
- 0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsover 101 lbsLaurel can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- If your pet has any recall (heel, enough, to me) or relief commands (go potty!) those are incredibly helpful to know. I am gaining more experience with heat-sensitive dog and cat breeds, so I appreciate knowing how you keep your pet safe in the summer
