About: I have had many different animals over my lifetime. I have puppy sat for many of my friends and family. I have helped train animals as well. I work from home so I am able to stop to take your little one on a walk or snuggles. My week is very flexible. I’ve owned and cared for animals for many years and truly enjoy being around them. Over time, I’ve learned how important patience, attention, and affection are when it comes to keeping pets happy and comfortable. Whether it’s going for walks, playtime, or simply providing companionship, I treat every animal with the same care I would give my own. I would love the opportunity to look after your pet and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: Hi , 👋 My home is conveniently located just 7 minutes from SeaTac Airport, making drop-off and pick-up easy for traveling pet parents. I have a Corgi who gets along well with other animals. Caring for pets is not just my full time work—it’s my passion. As I don’t have children, animals are a central part of my life, and every pet in my care is treated with genuine love and attention. With years of experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities, I focus on making every dog feel comfortable, happy, and secure. My home features a large fully fenced yard for supervised play and exercise. Our drop off and pick up is between 9am-9pm. Please let me know your ETA when you are on your way. Do not knock door or Ring door bell as that will upset other dogs in my house. Thank you! My house has three floors, each floor has own entrance door. if they don’t get along I can separate them. Usually I don’t crate dog unless they are destructive or not potty trained. All the dog I host requires fully vaccination. Please send me a copy of your dog’s vaccination records.
“Laura did an amazing job with our senior chi mix. She was so gentle and attentive to her needs while keeping us updated while we are away. We will be booking her again in the future!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have always felt a strong passion for animal care & welfare. Thanks to this, I have developed a wide variety of experience with all sorts of animals — cats, dogs, fish, rodents and reptiles, just to name a few! I am currently a student working toward a goal of joining vet med with 15+ years of personal experience caring for my own animals alongside friends and family. Rover has been a fantastic way for me to improve my knowledge on pet care and lend a helping hand to owners and pets in need, something that I absolutely love doing! In addition to my life-long experience, I have some skills in veterinary assisting and senior care. I myself have a reactive senior pup and two older cats, all of whom I have raised since they were roughly two months old. I’m currently a part time student with plenty of free time that I would love to dedicate to helping you and giving your furry friend the care and attention that they deserve! While I don’t offer boarding services, I am happy to drop in and look after your furry companions as needed. I am experienced with recognizing animal’s body language along with senior care for pets & am determined to provide a safe, comfortable experience for everyone involved.

“Jeannie was wonderful walking my pup Finn. She gave helpful real time information on how he did, was professional and overall someone you can rely on. She kept her cool when my rambunctious pup (1 year old) tested boundaries and tried to jump up on her. By the end of the week working with him he was a different dog and much better behaved. I highly recommend Jeannie and her pets care services!”

“Hired Brooklyn to walk my dogs so they could get to know her before she house sits for us. She is dependable and even researched how to handle timid dogs as my rescue we just got is very timid. Highly recommend her!”

“Carly is very good with my 6mo old puppy, she was prompt and provided real time updates, and left everything as she found it. Will definitely use her in the future. Thank you Carly!”

About: I have cared for cats, dogs and horses throughout the years since I was 5. I will treat your beloved pets with great care and kindness in your home. I am retired, so my schedule is very flexible. I am looking forward to meeting your pets to help them feel happy, safe and looked after when you are not available to them. I am interested in learning how you want your pets cared for so they are not stressed by big changes. Your directions for your pet’s management are what my goals will be!
“Akira had her first walk with Envee and it was great! Envee was punctual, professional and sent some fun pictures of Akira enjoying her walk. Akira is looking forward to more walks with Envee.”

“I would recommend Shelli to anyone! She is so easy to work with — incredibly responsive, polite, kind, and professional. We were super nervous about using Rover for the first time, but we could not have been luckier to find her. We absolutely plan to continue using her for as long as she wants to walk Aspen. I will recommend her to all of my friends and neighbors. If you are looking for someone you can truly trust with your loved fur babies, Shelli is the perfect choice. She handled our lovely husky lady Aspen wonderfully, and if she can handle a husky, she can handle any dog! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

About: I have experience with big dogs, medium dogs, and small dogs. I take great care in updating my clients on what’s happening with their pets. I’m working as a substitute Paraeducator so my days can be flexible depending on circumstances. I’ve stayed overnight in peoples houses looking after their pets while also staying at their place all day I always ask clients when I visit where and when pets are allowed in certain parts of the house and yard. I want to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible.
About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors cats when she goes on vacation- I volunteer consistently at Regional Animal Services of King County, I also have been involved in animal rescue for about 16 years now. I volunteer for Feral Cat Assistance and Trapping and South County Cats. I also foster animals from the animal shelter. I also have my own animals who are well loved and cared for! 😊 I have open availability at this time as my schedule is not a set schedule with my rescue work. I am happy to set my schedule according to the client’s needs. I usually will care for client’s animals in their home since I have cats of my own. But I do have an area for my fosters in my home. I’ll usually go over to a clients home to check on the animals and tend to them and come back as often as needed depending on what the client asks for.
“Adam is a wonderful substitute for our regular Walker. We had a little snafu with the app. He was great communicating with me and we figured out a way to make it all work. I will definitely book him again when needed.”

I have experience with walking up to three dogs, drop ins and overnights, administering oral medications on a time sensitive schedule, and providing structure for rambunctious puppies. I love playing fetch in the yard just as much as cuddling on the couch. I look forward to meeting your fur babies! I’m currently a student taking online classes and working part time 1-2 days a week in the early morning. I have a very open and flexible schedule. I will take dogs into a fenced yard or go on walks regularly, provide enrichment with toys and treats, following mealtime schedules, and basic cleanup around the house including scooping poop in the yard.

For about six months now, Envee has been Akira's regular dog walker, and she's been brilliant. Akira absolutely loves her walks and the time she gets to spend with Envee. I look forward to the photos after every single walk. Envee always captures the cutest, goofiest pictures of her. Highly recommend!!

Laura has been walking my dog Oakley for several months now and seems to do great with her. She is always super communicative and flexible with changes and I get a picture of my girl after every walk. I've been happy with the service and I think Oakley has been too.

- 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
