Safety, trust & environment

The property is a five bedroom house, resident to myself, my two personal dogs, and one pet cat. It is a large wooded property with a designated dog room and new grooming facilities to be installed shortly. The house, where dogs are kept, has temperature control staying cool in the summer and warm in winter. In case of emergency, there is also a wood fireplace stove for heat and a secondary space for dogs to be kept safely outside of the primary dog room, and an emergency supply of water and pet food. I am also certified in dog and cat first aid and CPR through the Red Cross. Board-and-train dogs are boarded at my home and receive 24/7 training for your specific goals. Dogs participating in board-and-train must be crate trained (must be able to sleep in a crate at night). Day train dogs are picked up/ dropped off in the morning and returned home in the afternoon. Boarding, or "board-and-play" dogs as well as daycare dogs are dropped off and receive daily walks and structured playtime. For any service, I do screen the behavior of all dogs coming in to determine whether or not they may be around other dogs on the premises, and if so to what extent. All dogs coming on-property must be UTD on vaccines for rabies, parvo, distemper, and ideally bordatella (kennel cough). All dogs coming for overnight stays (board-and-train and boarding-only) must be crate trained enough to sleep in a crate at night and in short bursts during the day.

Pet care experience

My name is Kimee, a professional dog trainer providing pet care services in Kent and surrounding areas. Years of experience with dogs has taught me that our pets have a language of their own; I pride myself in my ability to listen. Over the years I have gathered experience caring for dogs from tiny teacups to muscular bully breeds by fostering with a local shelters and volunteering with rescues. I have successfully rehabilitated aggressive dogs and other severe behaviors, worked in dog sports and obedience training, raised puppies, helped manic dogs become calm, and given countless people the opportunity to live their best lives with their pets.
