“Courtney took amazing care of my dog, Archie. She provided plenty of updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind knowing he was happy and well cared for. Archie came back home happy and relaxed. I highly recommend Courtney to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring.”

“Kellie & Ryan & Family took great care of our pups! They're are very experienced sitters and we knew our pups were in good hands. We appreciated the daily updates and pics. Highly recommended!”

“I had a emergency and had nowhere else to look for boarding and I found this and I got a message from here immediately as soon as I asked Mariah, great place to board/daycare your pets and I got multiple pictures while on vacation, and I definitely recommend this place. 10/10”

“Mila was fabulous with my one-year-old GSD. This was my pup's first time away from home, and I was quite nervous. Mila and her lovely daughter did a wonderful job accommodating my puppy's needs. I recommend Mila 100%, you can be rest assured that your lit'l fur baby is in great hands!! Thank you, Mila and Liza!!”

“Jackie was awesome! She took our 11 month old puppy who has some reactivity on less than 24 hr notice, when our scheduled Rover had to cancel at the last minute. She did a great job with him! And sent tons of pictures and videos all weekend long. And was in contact with the few questions she had about him. We would use her again!”

“Her calm and friendly demeanor really allowed my family and I to be able to relax during our trip. Kaylie kept our dogs stimulated and hydrated during the heat in August. I will 100% return to Kaylie with my pups and recommend her to everyone I know. She's great and makes you feel like we've known each other for a long time.”

“Hope was amazing! She sent many pictures of my Loki showing how he was enjoying him time with her. Communication was so good with her. My kitty will definitely be visiting her again!!”

“So, this was our first time leaving our puppy with someone and I was pretty nervous about it. But let me tell you, our puppy absolutely LOVED staying with David and Betty! We were away for 6 days, and even though I was worried, they took such good care of our pup. They were super attentive and loving, and we could tell that they treated our furry friend like their own. They were also really punctual, flexible, and friendly, and their communication was top-notch. Honestly, I can't recommend them enough to anyone in the area who needs reliable and trustworthy people to look after their fur babies. Thanks a million, Betty and David, for giving us such peace of mind while we were away!”

About: Your small dog wont just be watched - they'll be welcomed into a real home with teens, another dog, and a calm old cat who has seen it all. Your baby will be part of our normal household life... car pools, walks & lots of snuggles. As a stay-at-home mom to two teens, a Maltese poodle, and a cuddly old cat, pet care fits naturally into my everyday routine. Your dog will be treated like part of the family — coming along on errands, joining us for walks, and even tagging along while I shuttle my teens to their activities. They’ll settle right in as one of our own. I am very active & walk/run daily! I would love to bring your pup along to explore all the things. My home has a fully fenced yard, so dogs have safe space to play and roam. I have a friendly Maltese poodle who’s used to new company (she even goes to work with her dad a couple days a week), and an unfazed old tomcat who’s seen it all and takes new dogs in stride.
“Our dog Penny always has so much fun at Mrs. Katie's house. She loves playing with their dog Blue and snuggling, relaxing later. It's her fun vacation home away from home.”

“Trisha helped me get through my first time using Rover for boarding, and first time leaving my puppy with someone else. I can't begin to explain how happy I am with this experience. Trisha and her lovely family hung out and catered to an admittedly *very* energetic puppy's needs like the dog was their own. From picture updates to flexibility, I am over the moon with Trisha's care of my dog.”

“We left Jean with our 1 and a half year old boxer. What was supposed to be a short 2 day vacation turned out to be 5 days because we were stuck from getting home. Jean eased our minds by making sure he was well taken care of even with the last minute changes. Jean also sends the cutest photos. I would highly recommend and look forward to bringing our dog back to her.”

“J & J were amazing! They treated Theo as he was their own dog, lots of love and endless snuggles. We got daily photos and updates and they were very flexible with pick up and drop off. So good, we booked again immediately upon pick up! Thanks again!”

“My little guy always has so much fun with Chloe! I love the photo updates she sends, and she is always super mindful of his individual needs. She doesn’t ensure that his needs are met - she makes sure he has so much fun that he doesn’t even miss us! Thank you Chloe!!”

“This was our second time using Katie, and once again she was amazing with our dog! She was incredibly flexible and agreed to keep him longer than originally planned, even accommodating a last-minute change to our pickup time. She sent lots of updates and pictures throughout his stay, which really gave me peace of mind knowing he was being so well taken care of. Jackie was happy and comfortable, and I truly felt at ease while he was with her. We’re so grateful for her kindness, flexibility, and great care, and we would absolutely book with her again!”

“It was a great experience for my dog Cheeto. Margo and Mary gave my dog personalized care. Took pictures and video and when I picked him up it was very apparent of how happy and well cared for he was. I appreciated that he was the only dog in their care and I highly recommend them. I have definitely found a permanent dog sitter for my Cheeto.”

“I felt so comfortable leaving my pup in the hands of Quang and his wife. I love that Willow got focused human attention, while also having a chance to play with a small group of other dogs. I know that this arrangements works well for her, so that she doesn't get overstimulated (unlike in a large daycare boarding scenario). I appreciate the extra care they took in giving Willow her medications twice daily and sending daily pictures.”

“Amazing dog owners, very in tune with understanding/reading puppy behavior. Our dogs had so much fun playing with each other and they have a great size yeard for running around. Definitely coming back again!”

Amy was absolutely wonderful with Fiona! We felt completely at ease knowing Fiona was in such caring and capable hands while we were away. Amy was reliable, communicative, and clearly treated Fiona like she was one of her own. It gave us so much peace of mind to know she was being well cared for and getting plenty of love and attention. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup, which is all we could ask for! We’re so grateful to Amy and would absolutely trust her with Fiona again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, dependable, and loving sitter.

Mila watched Rustic for a work trip and unfortunately on my way back I was delayed nearly 48 hours due to flight issues. Not only did Mila graciously continue to watch Rustic she took great care of him so I didn’t have to worry. So grateful to her for her kindness and great sitting!!! Thank you, Mila!!

Celina and Max took such good care of our 85-pound, energetic dog, Steven. She took him on nice long walks, to dog parks, and on trails. She sent us pictures and updates every day and was super flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. Thank you, Celina and Max. We 100 percent will leave Steven with you next time!

Colleen did an excellent job watching over Ahri! She is a professional sitter and knows how to handle dogs well. Colleen is very communicative, which we greatly appreciated. She was very responsive with texts and provided us with daily updates and pictures on how Ahri was doing while we were away. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
