I'm home full-time, so your pup will get plenty of attention and care while you're away. In our home, dogs are part of the family! We keep a consistent routine with meals in the morning and evening. Most mornings, we enjoy a nice long walk to help the pups get their energy out and start the day off right. In the evenings, we usually go for a short walk to wind down and get in one last bit of fresh air. During the day, we spend time in the backyard playing fetch or just letting the dogs run around and be silly together. It’s a fun, relaxed environment where your dog can feel safe, loved, and right at home.

The most important is how well the dogs get along with cats - unkown is okay. Meet and greets are a great way to assess how well the dog will do with cats. We do have children in our house, the youngest is 4 so having a dog that is use to children is great. We take great precautions with the kids making sure they are respectful with the other dogs and to not get in their face. Overall, we just want to know what your dog's typical day is and what would help make them more comfortable in our home while staying with us.
A typical day
I generally take our dogs on walks around our neighborhood. Every now and again we go walk on a trail near Lake Wilderness. We like to hang out in the backyard and play fetch or just run around.

Hello! I'm Amber, and we'd love to welcome your dog into our home for personalized care, attention, and lots of love. We’re located in Covington and have a clean, comfortable home with a spacious, fully fenced backyard that’s perfect for safe play and relaxation. There are both sunny and shaded areas where dogs can lounge, explore, or stretch out for a good sunbath—just like our own pups love to do. We’re lifelong animal lovers with two dogs and three cats, so it's very important that your pup is comfortable around cats. After years of dog sitting, we’ve learned that a peaceful environment is key—for our pets and yours. Our older dog, Lucy, is calm and laid-back. She enjoys a good walk but mostly likes to relax and keep an eye on things. Daisy, our younger pup, is playful and always excited to meet new furry friends. She loves tug-of-war and backyard games with visiting dogs. In our home, your dog will be treated like family. We make every effort to follow the routines and rules you have in place so your pup feels safe and at ease. We always offer meet-and-greets before booking to ensure a good fit for everyone involved. Amber took amazing care of our husky, Lincey! Lincey came back home tired from all the playtime. Amber also took the time to send picture updates, which I really appreciated and loved. Will definitely be booking again.
Kaylee was a very happy dog while at Amber’s. She had recently been spayed and Amber did a wonderful job giving us updates and keeping Kaylee safe as she healed.
