About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. My little chihuahua of 14 years, just passed this spring, and her brother in 2020. I still have a 10 year old tabby cat named Sam. I've loved on, bathed, groomed, cuddled and took my dogs on long walks for years. Let them come up and cuddle on the couch any time they wanted and taught them some basic training. I am currently not employed with an establishment. So I can be available any time for walks on weekday mornings and afternoons. I can pet sit on the weekends as well! I have a fenced yard that your dog can run around and play in. I can also crate them if that's something they should need/per your request!
“Lora Renee took great care of our cat! He was diagnosed with Lymphoma 2 months ago and we were hesitant to leave him, but Lora Renee immediately put us at ease. We felt very comfortable having her in our home.”

“I needed a same-day drop in, and Courtney responded within a minute of my request! She asked clarifying questions before the visit and took lots of pictures. I would definitely ask Courtney to look in on my pets again.”

About: I have many years experience with small and large dogs. I had a poodle for 12 yrs and a Labrador for 15 yrs. I currently have a medium elderly 16 year old that still loves his walks! Special needs dogs are just fine. I am retired and home most of the day during the week. I go to the gym and yoga then at home. If I go out on Weekends I am home every evening. I have a fenced yard and a safe neighborhood. The area is dog friendly for walks. My house is safe for animals including quiet spaces to relax. I can travel locally for visits too. I am flexible and reliable. I worked in the healthcare industry and for the State of Washington. I also foster for the humane society.
“Thank you so much for taking good care of them! I’m glad they were good and hopefully very easy for you! I particularly appreciate you making the extra stop to come back and close the dog door around your schedule so they had extra time to potty. Thanks again.”

“James took the time to let our anxious kitty warm up to him and did a fantastic job in keeping her happy during the holiday! He gave updates when she didn’t want to eat and consistently checked in. Thanks James!!”

“Mandi was the best! She took great care of my cats and was totally comfortable and willing to do insulin injections. She clearly cares a lot about animals and I felt very safe leaving mine with her!”

“Thank you Kristen for taking good care of my cat while I was gone for a week. You gave her attention and kept her happy with food (Her very favorite thing), played & petted her. The daily photos and what she was doing put me at ease. You are "Aces" and Sweet Pea would love to have you as her sitter in the future! Much appreciated for all you did.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our dogs. From the moment we met, it was clear they had a natural connection with animals. She is gentle, attentive, and incredibly patient. Will definitely book again with Liz :)”

About: Some things that I've done with all my own dogs as well as when dog sitting/walking for family friends would be; Walking, food/water, playing, potty time, and lots of petting. My own dogs (2 past, 1 present): -My first dog was a beautiful golden retriever named Bo. I taught him some basic commands with sign language when I was little. He taught me a lot about how to act and move around dogs, as well as how sweet they can be. -My second dog was my giant baby, a half english mastiff, half short-haired saint bernard named Scar (aka bunny, aka goober). I held him when he was the size of a potato, and then continued to do so when he grew to 150 lbs. I taught him how to stop, cross the street with me, and slow, all with verbal commands. -My third dog is a half black lab, half golden retriever, full fluffy goofball named Buddy. He loves to join any conversations going on with his barks. His smarts aren't always there, but his heart absolutely is. I'm at home most of the time and with a pretty open schedule. I'll have tons of time to make sure pets are well cared for and happy. My own dog is on the older side, but has plenty of energy to spare and share with your four legged family. I have a decently sized fenced in backyard that's great for all sized dogs to get their energy out.

About: I have been pet sitting for years, either through families/neighbors I know or through facebook. I love animals, I have two dogs of my own and grew up with cats. I am reliable and punctual, and ready to help! I am currently a student and working part time, and with my college schedule I have pretty open days to stop by and stay a while with your pet. I am available most nights for help as well. I understand every pet is different and they all have different needs, and because of this I make sure that every animal is safe at all times. This includes checking gates/locks, cleaning up, and always keeping an eye out for their safety, as well as their happiness :)
“Abigail is genuinely the best pet sitter I’ve ever hired. She was super accommodating with a last-minute booking and made everything really easy. My dog can be pretty anxious, but he was comfortable with her from the start. She took such good care of him, letting him sunbathe like he loves and spent time cuddling with him. You can tell she genuinely enjoys being around animals and treats them with real love and patience. Even one of my cats, who usually hides for weeks with new people, started coming out and hanging around her after just a couple visits. She has a calm, kind energy that animals seem to instantly trust. She was always on time, sent detailed updates, and included great photos that gave me total peace of mind while I was away. You can really tell she loves what she does and has a natural connection with animals. Super lucky to have found her, definitely my first choice from now on and I’m pretty sure my pets would agree.”

About: Hey there! My name is Bella. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, which is why I’m all about making them feel as comfortable and loved as possible while you’re gone. I have a lot of experience with different pet personalities, from super hyper puppies to older, more sensitive dogs and cats who just need a calm environment. I’m really organized, great with following specific feeding/medication routines, and always quick to text back! Pet care is something I’m doing for a little extra money on the side as I am a college student. I work nights so I am available during the day most weekdays. Ultimately pretty flexible I have four French bulldogs and a bearded dragon at home. I take them on walks and bathe them as some of them have skin allergies. And can follow routine with medications, taking them potty frequently

Ariana is amazing! The Boyz love her. She always takes such good care of them. Ariana always sends me updates with pictures. She's very communicative so if we have any concerns or questions she's always quick to answer. As long as the Boyz are happy and they are life is good!
Ady was such an amazing pet sitter for us and a great comfort while we were on vacation. My husband and I were very nervous to leave our 2 Great Danes and 3 cats but Ady was fantastic and allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying about our animals. Our baby Dane had a few potty accidents and she cleaned it up no problem, she had great communication with us, sent us lots of photos. I can tell she is passionate and enjoys her work as a pet caretaker and I know my babies really enjoyed the visits with her! I will hire Ady from now on and would recommend Ady to anyone looking for a pet caretaker that gives you confidence and peace of mind. Thank you Ady!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
