About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for most of my life. I had a dog in Colombia who was part of my family for 15 wonderful years, and now I have two cats here in the United States. Caring for pets has taught me patience, responsibility, and how important it is to make animals feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I truly enjoy spending time with pets and treating them like family. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I always make sure pets receive attention, playtime, and loving care. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment for pets and always make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I understand how important routines, patience, and supervision are, and I treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own cats.
“Morgan did a great job filling in last minute for us! We will definitely consider her again for future dates. She was communicative and thorough throughout her time here. Kaya definitely appreciated the company.”

“Emily was a great sitter! She was extremely responsive, thorough, kind, and followed our instructions perfectly. I highly recommend Emily for your pets. We will definitely book her again.”

“Jennifer was able to check-in and care for our little buddy with very short notice. We were really thankful that she was accommodating and flexible. We would gladly rebook and recommend!”

“Sophia is great! She is very accountable and communicates well. Our shy puppy warmed up to her very quickly and loved playing with Sophia during drop-in visits. Sophia helped us while transitioning Bailey to doggie day camp. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely have Sophia back. Thank you!”

About: I’ve raised Guide Dog puppies both here and in Las Vegas. Raising a Guide Dog puppy is a 24 hour job with daily training/teaching regiments. We teach them basic commands and expose them to the public and public places. It was great fun and very rewarding. I’m am retired. So I have plenty of time to give to your fur baby. As well as, all the attention he or she needs. In a clients home, the safety of the pet comes first. If that means there is a fenced yard or they need to be taken out on a leash every hour then that is what will get done.
“MJ was fantastic with our three dogs. She went above and beyond with their care. She was also very flexible and accommodating when I scheduled the times of the visits incorrectly. The dogs were happy and safe! She handled three dogs, 47 - 60 lbs with care and love. She treated our property with professionalism. This was an emergency trip with little lead time, Marta stepped up and fit us into her schedule without complaint and was exceptional. I can’t thank her enough.”

“Courtney was great. She dropped in and hung out with my cat Guidu while I was gone for the weekend. I got check-ins, photos, and summaries for each visit and he was well cared for. Courtney was super easy to coordinate with, was very friendly, and was great at communicating. I will definitely ask Courtney to drop in on Guidu again in the future. ??”
About: I’ve cared for dogs most of my life, both my own and those of family and friends. I’ve helped with everything from daily walks and playtime to feeding, baths, and overnight stays. I’m excited to expand my experience through Rover and build trusting relationships with pets and their owners. I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to spend with your pets! Whether you need a last-minute walk or daytime drop-in, I’m happy to make it work. I love keeping pets on their usual routines, so I’ll do my best to match your preferred times and needs. Your furry friend will always get my full attention and care — no rush, no stress, but lots of walks, cuddles, and playtime! I treat every pet I care for like part of my own family. In my home, pets have a comfortable, safe space to relax, play, and get plenty of love and attention. I make sure they have regular walks, potty breaks, and snuggle time, and I always follow their normal routines as closely as possible. When caring for pets in your home, I keep things clean, calm, and consistent — feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions are all handled just the way you prefer. My goal is to make your pet feel happy, comfortable, and cared for, no matter where they are.
About: I've spent my whole life surrounded by dogs and caring for them. With my own dog, I used to take her on runs which was always the best. If you have a high energy pooch, I'm your guy! I also have walked more mellow dog, so I can take it slow as well. Whatever energy level your pet is at, I'm ready to match it so they can have a great time! :) Right now I'm working part time and my schedule is very flexible! Weekdays are when I'm mainly free but I'm open to weekends as well. When walking dogs, I'm aware of the dogs body language so that they can have a fun time exercising without being stressed. With cats, I watch my movements as to not scare them.
About: I've taken care of dogs throughout my entire life, and was active in training my border collie/lab mix Akila in my young adulthood. I have a warm and gentle spirit that tends to put all animals (humans included!) at ease in my presence. I have worked with untrained young dogs, puppies, and I love a challenge! I am currently working a very flexible schedule, so I will be prioritizing bookings from Rover as much as possible! I'm excited to gain more experience with lots of different dogs, as I'm looking to adopt myself. I wasn't allowed to have a dog in past housing, so I'm very enthusiastic about lots of pup time. I do not have a house that is available to take more dogs in for care, so I will only be doing drop-ins, walks, and house-sitting at this time. This may change in the future. In a client's home, I have years of experience house-sitting, babysitting, and I prioritize client's routines and wishes above all else. My desire is to provide a stress-free, pleasant experience for the dogs, so that they are happy and healthy when their parents come home to them!

“Julie has been walking our 50 lb dog for several weeks and recently stopped over to feed and look in on both our dogs while we were away. I appreciate how communicative she is and she is so sweet with our dogs. Would definitely recommend her!”

“Shelby was an excellent pet sitter! She was very communicative throughout the entire time, keeping me updated and giving me peace of mind while I was away. I really appreciated how attentive and reliable she was, and it was clear my pet was well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Shelby to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and thoughtful to look after their pets.”

About: I have cared for and trained dogs since I was a child. Most of my life has been shared with cherished companion animals. I have experience with all ages of pets and understand the needs of each phase of their lives. I have experience with various types of special needs animals and have adopted and cared for dogs who have had challenges being adopted due to reactivity, allergies, epilepsy, special medical needs including injections, and age. I am a working performer in the greater Seattle area. My days are often free, with most performances and rehearsals happening in the evenings. I’m generally a home body who prefers a quiet environment that facilitates practice, reading, and rehearsing. I’m a non drinker/substance user who doesn’t partake in any nightlife or party lifestyle. I try as much as possible to plan my day around the needs of the animals that I’m caring for, knowing how important a consistent schedule is for their wellbeing.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Kent with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
