Shelby is a wonderful pet sitter and caregiver! Our 8 year old cat had a major, life altering surgery which kept us home with him giving extremely sensitive care and attention for months on end. We had to cancel vacations altogether or leave one family member home at all times while the other people went on the trip. Eventually, we had a very important family trip that we desperately wanted to have everyone be able to go on. We were terrified to leave our cat with just anyone...worried that he would die before we got back. That's not an exaggeration...he almost died three times before. Shelby was amazing with him! She took the time before we left to learn his very intense and specific schedule. Our cat is extremely needy and needed love and attention just as much as he needed a very regimented schedule. She spent so much quality time with him and tended to his every need. This was no easy task, I assure you. She sent us constant updates and pictures. We were never so relieved than to have her taking care of our precious baby. He was happy and healthy when we returned, and our house was well maintained. That can be tricky with him. If it wasn't for Shelby's love of animals and quality of care, we never would have been able to take our family bucket list trip. We owe her so much!
