I have a completely fenced yard that is almost the size of what you would find in a small dog park. The rest of the property is not fenced in but there is a runner that is on the property, along with mini hiking trails to venture through and plenty of running room for zoomies. For my own dogs, we start the morning off with a walk through the trails and follow it with breakfast. Then half the day is cozy sleeping on one of the million dog beds they own, and we cap off our evening before dinner with zoomies in the fenced yard were ball tossing, tug away, and lots of chasing each other happens. If the care is in a client's home, I follow any directions that are left for me from walking, outside time, feeding routine, grooming, etc. I treat your pet just like I would treat my own with consistency, love, and lots of belly rubs.

Information Shannon S. would like to know about your pet

Before booking, I love learning about your pet’s routine, personality, likes/dislikes, and any special needs. Knowing things like feeding schedules, walking habits, comfort items, and quirks helps me make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and right at home.

A typical day

Every pet gets care tailored to them! Expect walks full of sniffing, playtime that matches their energy, enrichment games, and lots of affection. I follow your pet’s routine and personality—whether that means adventures, toys, or quality couch time—so they feel safe, loved, and right at home.

Pet care experience

I have dog sat for my neighbors since I was in my teens and continue to dog sit for neighbors, roommates, and family whenever it is needed. I personally have two dogs, and one is a very reactive puppy that I have been working with/training since I got him 5yrs ago. I have raised 3 litters of puppies, house trained, kennel trained, off leash trained, and basic commands. I believe that dogs are truly our best friends.

Shannon is great and we would definitely use her again! She checked in on our pup without even meeting him first, and also accepted our last injure request. She sent us detailed updates and great photos during her drop in. Our pup looked like he was well cared for and loving her! Thanks again.

I have known Shannon for almost 20 years and can attest to what a responsible, grounded and dedicated an individual she is. I have trusted her with the keys to my business, my home, my farm animals and my pets. Over those years I have watched her juggle raising five young children and while running her business and helping me with mine. She currently has two border collies of her own, and understands high energy breeds, as well as the slow roll of my pack of labradors. She has helped us wrangle and care for numerous batches of meat chickens, laying hens, plus assorted ducks, geese, turkeys and some guineafowl. Shannon would be a great choice if you are in need of any pet/house/farm sitting services.
