“As always, Isabel did a great job taking care of Chip and Theo. She was available very last minute which took a lot of stress off me for such a late request. I will continue to book her in the future.”

About: I’ve always had a genuine love for dogs and cats and enjoy spending time with animals of all personalities and energy levels. I’m comfortable with playful, energetic pets as well as those who are more shy, cautious, or need a little extra patience to warm up. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I make it a priority to follow your instructions carefully and treat your pet with the same care and attention I would want for my own. Whether your dog needs a good walk, some playtime, or simply some company while you’re away, I’m happy to provide dependable and loving care. I’m also comfortable caring for cats, including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, and giving them attention while respecting their space. My goal is simple: make sure your pets are safe, happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m currently working a job and my current schedule for assisting with our furry friends reflects that schedule! Friday to Monday is my current schedule for helping our friends! I care for every pet according to their individual routine, personality, and needs. Before each visit or walk, I make sure I understand their feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications (if applicable), and any special instructions from their owner. During walks, I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and engaged while allowing them to enjoy their time outside. In a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, making sure pets have fresh water, food, attention, and a clean and comfortable environment. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident knowing their pets are happy and well cared for. My priority is always the pet’s safety and making sure they receive the same patience, love, and attention I would want for my own pets.

About: Hi everyone! I grew up with cats and dogs and am no stranger to all there needs, I regularly sit for my friends and family and can handle all of your pet sitting needs. My job is Monday thru Friday 7-3 so I'm available between 6-7 am and after 3 during the week and any time on the weekends My dog goes to the dog park almost daily during the week and is no stranger to going on hikes on weekends, she is very good with other dogs and would never turn down a play mate.
“We had such piece of mind having Shelli care for our Maisie girl. From the initial meet and greet, to the follow up communications, and then our first drop in last Sunday, we felt like we could take a deep breath and trust in Shelli. Our Maisie girl now requires heart meds 3x a day and they have to be timely, which typically leaves the mid day pill challenging, if you want a social life or have a work schedule that goes hay wire. She's professional, showed up on time, and I could tell from the meet and greet that she and our girl would be fast friends. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve raised Guide Dog puppies both here and in Las Vegas. Raising a Guide Dog puppy is a 24 hour job with daily training/teaching regiments. We teach them basic commands and expose them to the public and public places. It was great fun and very rewarding. I’m am retired. So I have plenty of time to give to your fur baby. As well as, all the attention he or she needs. In a clients home, the safety of the pet comes first. If that means there is a fenced yard or they need to be taken out on a leash every hour then that is what will get done.
“A well deserved 5 STARS. KRISTEN was engaging with my elderly dog and immediately won her over. She understood what my girl might need and constantly evaluated and provides what that might be. Keeping in touch with me as she was able (I was in hospital), she made the necessary decisions and implemented them. I trusted her in my home and with my cherrish Companion. I promised my dog, Shelby, when I adopted a frightened and untrusting puppy, I would take care of her. KRISTEN helped me keep my promise and did not disappoint. RECOMMEND.”

“Jennifer was perfect, obviously loves cats, gave great updates and pictures, and even knew all about how to operate our automatic litter boxes. Would absolutely recommend”

About: I have extensive experience watching friends, families and neighbors pets my entire life. I absolutely love dogs, have no issues cleaning litter boxes and feel comfortable and safe around most animals in general. I don’t mind driving and I also have experience house and plant sitting for folks. I’m a licensed social worker and work both remotely and in the field. I have time and energy to help look after pets to put their owners at ease when they are away. I will follow all rules and expectations to assure your pet and home are cared for when I am visiting. I have no problem sending photos, videos or other updates to communicate and put you at ease your pet is cared for.

About: Hiya! I’m a lifelong animal lover with 3+ years of professional animal-care experience, including working with RASKC, volunteering with RASKC, dog walking, and pet sitting. I’ve cared for animals of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’m especially comfortable with senior pets, special-needs animals, allergies, disabilities, large breed dogs,fearful/avoidant dogs and pets who need medications, I can safely administer oral, topical, and injectable medications and am happy to follow your pet’s usual care routine. My favorite part of pet sitting is getting to know each animal as an individual. Whether your dog needs a long walk and a good game of fetch, your cat wants someone to patiently earn their trust, or your senior pet would rather spend the afternoon getting cozy cuddles, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. When I stay in your home, I focus on keeping your pets’ routines as normal as possible so they can stay comfortable in their own space while you’re away. I provide lots of playtime, enrichment, attention, and cuddles! I’m also available for daytime walks and drop-in visits for pets who need some extra exercise, companionship, a potty break, medication, or just someone to tell them how wonderful they are while you’re at work. 😉 I’ll send you regular photos and videos so you can see what your pets are up to and know they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I can care for up to 5 dogs in a home, although I prefer up to 3 so everyone gets plenty of individual attention. I’m also happy to care for any number of cats and have experience with all kinds of feline personalities—from total cuddle bugs to shy kitties and the wonderfully spicy ones. Your pets are family. My goal is for them to feel safe, loved, entertained, and completely spoiled while you’re away! I am available for pet setting full time so I do not have any restrictions on when I am available for stopping by the house for visits or walks while also being able to stay in your home the the majority of my stay while taking care of your animals. I am generally able to assist with same day requests as long as I have met you and your animals first and discussed their needs and your expectations. I bring something a little different to pet sitting: professional shelter experience combined with a lifetime of loving animals. Working with animals professionally has taught me how to read body language, recognize when something is “off,” safely handle a wide range of personalities, and stay calm when the unexpected happens. I’m comfortable caring for pets who need a little extra patience or specialized attention, including seniors, animals with disabilities or allergies, and pets requiring oral, topical, or injectable medications. But experience isn’t the only thing I bring. I genuinely love spending time with animals. I want your pets to have fun, feel secure, and get plenty of attention while you’re away. I’m observant, dependable, communicative, and happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. And I’ll keep you connected with photos and videos throughout your pet’s stay, because I know you'll want to see those adorable faces while you’re away! I want you to not have to worry and enjoy your time away from home as much as possible! Most importantly, I care for your pets the way I’d want someone to care for mine.If I am staying at your home while watching the animals I may have some daytime plans, errands or other clients to visit for a small amount of time please discuss your pets needs with me while booking to ensure there are no gaps in their care due to existing schedule conflicts. Otherwise I will just be at your home with your animals so they get my dedicated attention and I am able to calm any nerves and offer lots of cuddles, play time, enrichment, and exercise. What to expect when I meet you and your animals: When I meet with you, especially about doggos, I will want to understand what verbiage you use for things like "sit" and "lay" so I can use the same terms. It Is also important to me to know what types of training you are working on with your animals, if any, so I can work on the same things with them and continue their training with consistency. I will also work with you to get an understanding of their feeding process and routines so they get their meals exactly correct and at the exact right time.I will do the same with medication details, leashing/haltering and walking paths if any, bathroom schedules and night time schedules. It is very important to me that I am aware of your cats or dog's triggers, if any, so I can better tailor my care to them and proactively keep their environment as comfortable as possible. There is nothing I cannot handle as long as I am educated about the animals needs.

“Willa was super sweet and professional. She checked in on my kitties and sent photos every day. She was always quick to respond and helped me since this was my first time booking with Rover.”

“Cassie was fantastic! She took wonderful care of our cats while we were away and did all the things we asked. She provided great updates and was communicative and supportive throughout the weekend! Highly recommend her!! Will be asking her to watch our cats again!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for most of my life. I had a dog in Colombia who was part of my family for 15 wonderful years, and now I have two cats here in the United States. Caring for pets has taught me patience, responsibility, and how important it is to make animals feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I truly enjoy spending time with pets and treating them like family. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I always make sure pets receive attention, playtime, and loving care. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment for pets and always make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I understand how important routines, patience, and supervision are, and I treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own cats.

Chris was great! This was the first time I had to hire someone to take care of Motor and it couldn’t have gone better. She came by twice a day to check in and feed him and he took to her right away. You can tell she truly loves cats and really enjoys working with them. I will definitely hire her again if I ever need coverage.

Shelby was an excellent pet sitter! She was very communicative throughout the entire time, keeping me updated and giving me peace of mind while I was away. I really appreciated how attentive and reliable she was, and it was clear my pet was well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Shelby to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and thoughtful to look after their pets.

Marcola was absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond by offering multiple times to meet in person beforehand, which really showed her thoughtfulness and professionalism—even though my schedule didn’t allow it. It was clear from the start how much she genuinely loves and enjoys caring for animals. I felt completely comfortable trusting her with my three cats, even without meeting beforehand. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
