About: I have two big dogs of my own so I have plenty of experience with larger breeds. I’ve had puppies and kittens and grew up with lots of pets! I also cat sit and dog sit on occasion for my family! I work Part-time so I have plenty of time to care for your animals. I walk my own animals daily in addition to go to the gym. Stamina won’t be a problem no matter the energy level of your pet. I have two large dogs who run around constantly, I’m very good with clear commands and communication with them. I also take care of my families cats who can be temperamental which taught me a lot of patience when caring for animals as well.

“Isabel is amazing! I’m a repeat client and have booked her several times for drop-in visits. My dog absolutely loves her, and I always know he’s in great hands. She sends detailed updates and lots of pictures after every visit, which gives me great peace of mind. She’s reliable, caring, and I highly recommend her!”

“Chelsea filled a very last minute invite to care for our sweet kitty. Our kitty warmed up to her so quickly and we had no doubt she would be in great hands. Chelsea is kind, reliable, consistent and we looked forward to her daily updates and pictures, which were always so fun to see.”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for most of my life. I had a dog in Colombia who was part of my family for 15 wonderful years, and now I have two cats here in the United States. Caring for pets has taught me patience, responsibility, and how important it is to make animals feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I truly enjoy spending time with pets and treating them like family. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I always make sure pets receive attention, playtime, and loving care. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment for pets and always make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I understand how important routines, patience, and supervision are, and I treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own cats.
About: Your small dog wont just be watched - they'll be welcomed into a real home with teens, another dog, and a calm old cat who has seen it all. Your baby will be part of our normal household life... car pools, walks & lots of snuggles. As a stay-at-home mom to two teens, a Maltese poodle, and a cuddly old cat, pet care fits naturally into my everyday routine. Your dog will be treated like part of the family — coming along on errands, joining us for walks, and even tagging along while I shuttle my teens to their activities. They’ll settle right in as one of our own. I am very active & walk/run daily! I would love to bring your pup along to explore all the things. My home has a fully fenced yard, so dogs have safe space to play and roam. I have a friendly Maltese poodle who’s used to new company (she even goes to work with her dad a couple days a week), and an unfazed old tomcat who’s seen it all and takes new dogs in stride.
About: I’m an experienced dog walker and pet sitter with a history of repeat and recurring clients. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of different sizes, personalities, and care needs through regular walks, drop-ins, and extended house sitting. I’m reliable, communicative, and treat every pet like my own — with plenty of attention, playtime, walks, cuddles, and photo updates along the way! I’m currently accepting new recurring weekday walking and drop-in clients. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate weekday walks, drop-ins, and house sitting throughout the week. I understand how important consistency and routine are for pets, especially when their owners are working or traveling. My goal is to become someone both you and your pet know, trust, and feel completely comfortable with. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my priority. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, walking routines, and any special needs. I’m attentive to each pet’s behavior and comfort level and will never force an interaction they’re uncomfortable with. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both their pet and their space with the same care and respect I would want for my own.
“I have a diabetic cat who's afraid of everyone and requires insulin injections 2x a day. I have not been able to find anyone willing to take on this challenging situation, until I found Cassie on Rover. I swear she can walk on water and is a cat whisperer. She took the time to come and watch me do a glucose test and insulin injection before the first trip I've been able to take in 7 yrs , knowing she would take good care of Punkin. I was gone for 8 days and she came twice a day and Punkin didn't hide from her like she does with everyone but me. I could not recommend her highly enough and will definitely be planning longer trips, using Cassie without worrying my cat would suffer. If you want a sweet, reliable and caring cat sitter, you want Cassie on Rover.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals for the past 10-12 years of my life, I’ve owned and cared for aggressive, shy, large animals. I walk shelter dogs for RASKC on a regular basis and even do animal transport. I grew up on a large property taking care of all my grandmas puppies and kitties during the summer, and those dogs ranged from senior small dogs, to large young dogs. I’ve also taken care of plenty of cats, stray and housed in my times. I like helping animals as it brings me a sense of satisfaction knowing I made a animals life a little easier and comfortable, there’s always room for them in my world. I would prefer to drop in but boarding is an option, I just require an advanced notice as I have a full time job. Drop in I’m available to do most time depending on frequency needed Your pet will be spoiled, with treats (according to diet requirements) attention, and if they’re accepting of other animals, plenty of time to spend with a couple of friends!
“I would highly recommend MJ! She is kind and compassionate and has a very calming presence with animals. My very high energy pittie loved her so much! Rest assured that your precious fur babies are in the best of hands with her!”

“Danielle took such good care of my Maximus. This was my first time using the Rover service and Danielle made me feel like Max was safe, staying active and had a good time while I was away. I will be hiring her again. So many pictures and a very detailed synopsis of her stay each time she came to check on him. Thank you so much!!”

“Marie was an amazing pet sitter for our 2 cats. She went above and beyond during our entire trip. She kept us updated with detailed summaries and pictures of our boys and documented for us their behavior and moods throughout her visits. She took care of our cats' specific needs and made us feel comfortable during our time away. We had some issues with our flights getting back home and she was able to extend her visits 2 times. She is a wonderful Rover!”

“Cyndi was wonderful! I’m always nervous leaving our girls so I really appreciate her being so consistent and communicating while we were gone. She really went above and beyond for us and I can’t recommend her enough! We will 100% be rebooking her for all of our future trips.”

“Kalie checked in on our cat (Siren) while we were away on vacation and exceeded all our expectations. We were appreciative of Kalie's prompt, informative, and detailed messaging. Siren can be challenging at times (she's wary of strangers) but Kalie did really well and Siren even sat next to her and purred. We hope to work with Kalie again in the future!”

Shelby was an excellent pet sitter! She was very communicative throughout the entire time, keeping me updated and giving me peace of mind while I was away. I really appreciated how attentive and reliable she was, and it was clear my pet was well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Shelby to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and thoughtful to look after their pets.

Marcola was absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond by offering multiple times to meet in person beforehand, which really showed her thoughtfulness and professionalism—even though my schedule didn’t allow it. It was clear from the start how much she genuinely loves and enjoys caring for animals. I felt completely comfortable trusting her with my three cats, even without meeting beforehand. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
