Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I grew up caring for animals and spent time volunteering at Humane Society’s walking dogs and cleaning cat kennels. I currently have a dog and three cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets like family. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping your pets company while you're away, I’m experienced, patient, and passionate about giving animals the attention and love they deserve. I’m comfortable with a variety of breeds and personalities and am happy to follow your pet’s routine to keep them happy and relaxed.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions carefully—whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medication, or just keeping them company. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and needs, so they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. You can count on regular updates and photos for peace of mind while you're gone.

Alexis is so patient, reliable, and kind. I have a reactive dog who is fearful of people, and a clingy dog that isn't comfortable with large dogs. They both like Alexis, and when I come home from a trip, they are relaxed and happy. I trust Alexis with my pups, she does a great job.
Alexis is wonderful! She is so caring and attentive with Ella, always arrives on time, and follows our care instructions exactly. We feel completely comfortable knowing Ella is in such capable hands. We also appreciate her communication while she's here as well as all of her pictures of Ella! We couldn't recommend Alexis highly enough!

I have a flexible schedule and can often accommodate last-minute bookings or special requests. Whether you need someone for daily care, weekend getaways, or unexpected plans, I'm happy to help make sure your pets are well taken care of when you need it most.

- Before caring for a pet, I like to learn about their daily routine including feeding times, walks, bathroom breaks, and any special habits so I can keep things consistent and comfortable for them. It's also helpful to know about any health conditions, medications, allergies, or behavioral quirks, like fears or things that might cause anxiety. I always ask what commands they respond to, whether they're allowed on furniture, and if there are any off-limit areas in the home. Understanding how they interact with other animals, people, or children is also important, along with having your vet’s contact information in case of an emergency. The more I know, the better care I can provide!
