Pet care experience

Reliable Pet Sitter/Walker

Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I grew up caring for animals and spent time volunteering at Humane Society’s walking dogs and cleaning cat kennels. I currently have a dog and three cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets like family. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping your pets company while you're away, I’m experienced, patient, and passionate about giving animals the attention and love they deserve. I’m comfortable with a variety of breeds and personalities and am happy to follow your pet’s routine to keep them happy and relaxed.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions carefully—whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medication, or just keeping them company. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and needs, so they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. You can count on regular updates and photos for peace of mind while you're gone.

Alexis was wonderful. She took excellent care of our senior fur baby. I loved her daily check in’s with photos. It’s nice to be able to get away and not have to worry as much about your pet.

10/10, Alexis was kind, diligent, and calm with my anxious pups. Paid attention to detail, and I came home to happy dogs. My reactive girl clearly enjoyed her, and my jack Russell mix (normally a stressed Lil gal) was calm and happy. Can't recommend enough, will definitely book again.

Lexis helped me with my litter boxes when my husband was gone and I didn't want to risk it because I am pregnant. She was very professional and friendly.

Once again, Alexis did a fantastic job with Coco! She even took on the challenge of our backyard being worked on which made having to let Coco out to use the bathroom a bit more difficult.

Before caring for a pet, I like to learn about their daily routine including feeding times, walks, bathroom breaks, and any special habits so I can keep things consistent and comfortable for them. It's also helpful to know about any health conditions, medications, allergies, or behavioral quirks, like fears or things that might cause anxiety. I always ask what commands they respond to, whether they're allowed on furniture, and if there are any off-limit areas in the home. Understanding how they interact with other animals, people, or children is also important, along with having your vet’s contact information in case of an emergency. The more I know, the better care I can provide!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
