“Anne is phenomenal. She’s so sweet with our three cats, incredibly attentive, excellent communication (reaches out for clarification) and our boys are so content when we get home. We are reassured traveling knowing how well cared for they are while we are away. 10/10 recommend! We are a repeat client and are SO happy we found Anne.”
“Our dogs absolutely loved Sarah! We were able to enjoy the concert we went to completely worry-free. Our dogs are pretty high maintenance, which was no issue for Sarah. Even our over-excitable guy gave her no trouble. They had great playtime with her in the backyard and we could see on the camera that they were sad when she left. Will definitely work with her again in the future!”

About: I have had dogs in my family since I can remember, including a husky, shiba inus, a rescued staffordshire terrier, red labrador, and an icelandic sheepdog. I have experience training them as puppies, including walking, tricks, and obedience. I have experience walking 2-3 dogs at once, as well as experience with elderly dogs and health issues, including a seizure disorder and asthmatic symptoms. I am currently working part-time with a very flexible schedule, and am able to prioritize your pet! I am available for walking and house-sitting or check-ins any time at the moment. Feel free to reach out and I’ll do what I can for you. At home, I prioritize my animal’s freedom and playtime as they are very energetic. While I do not board animals, I am happy to work around your schedule to make sure yours are taken care of. I can crate them, spend time outside, teach small obedience lessons or tricks to keep them busy, or provide other activities they already know in your home.

About: I have lived with animals most of my life. While I currently do not own a pet, I have continued to surround myself with the animals of my friends and family. I started cat-sitting 2 years ago. When I pet sit, I aim to ensure a great experience for my furry friends. I am currently working part-time as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) and am flexible in my hours. I am currently a part-time Occupational Therapist, so I have flexibility in my schedule to take care of your furry friend. I have my own transportation as well. I work hard to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for your animal in their home environment. A detailed description of your animal's needs is much appreciated.
About: My journey with dogs began over 50 years ago, growing up in a home where the 'pack' was part of the family. From a young age, I was the designated caregiver for our relatives' pets, learning early on how to read canine body language and provide the unique care each dog requires. Throughout my life, I have been the 'go-to' person for friends and family, managing pups of all temperaments and sizes. While my own long-time companion has recently crossed the rainbow bridge, the Spirit of the Dog remains the heartbeat of my home. I don’t just 'watch' dogs; I welcome them into a space built on four decades of experience and genuine love. Whether your pup needs a calm environment to relax or an adventure-filled stay, I have the room, the heart, and the professional setup at The Phydeaux Spaw to ensure they are safe and cherished. I’d be honored to welcome your dog into our pack for their next stay. Pet care is not just a part of my routine; it is the center of it. As the owner of a professional bookkeeping firm and a mobile pet spa, my daily life is structured around my home base on Harper Hill. This 'work-from-home' lifestyle allows me to provide a level of consistency and supervision that a typical 9-to-5 sitter cannot. Morning & Evening Rhythms: My day begins and ends with the 'Adventure Playfield.' Every guest is integrated into a morning exercise routine and an evening wind-down that mirrors the structure of a professional facility. Mid-Day Engagement: Because I manage my bookkeeping clients from my home office, I am physically present all day. I take regular 'engagement breaks' to check on my guests, refresh water, and manage socialization in the yard. The 'Spaw' Advantage: On days when I am operating the mobile unit, the dogs in my care benefit from a high-energy, pet-centric environment. I am never more than a few steps away from the play area, and my 'Phydeaux Spaw' truck is a constant reminder of our commitment to professional-grade pet hygiene and safety. 24/7 Monitoring: Since I offer 'into the night' care and boarding, my evening routine is dedicated to ensuring every dog feels secure. My schedule is purposefully flexible to accommodate the needs of my clients—whether that’s an early drop-off or a late-night pick-up. At our Harper Hill home, safety isn't just a checklist—it’s the foundation of our environment. We’ve designed our space so that your dog is never out of sight and always under professional supervision. The 360-Degree View: Our home is uniquely positioned so that I have a clear, unobstructed line of sight to every corner of the yard from indoors. Whether your pup is napping in the sun or playing in the grass, they are under a watchful eye 100% of the time. The 'Adventure Playfield': For high-energy exercise, we utilize our expansive playfield. Here, we use long-lead techniques to allow for maximum freedom and movement while maintaining total safety. Mindful Socialization: We focus on more than just physical 'running out.' We specialize in helping dogs learn to respond without reacting. Through structured play and exercise, we help your pup build confidence and social skills in a calm, controlled atmosphere. Prepared for Every Scenario: My background with The Phydeaux Spaw mobile unit means I am inherently prepared for the unexpected. From first-aid awareness to specialized handling for dogs with ailments or anxiety, I bring a 'safety-first' professional toolkit to every boarding and daycare stay. This is a happy, balanced home where your dog’s physical safety and emotional well-being are our highest priorities.
“Teresa did an awesome job watching our little zoo crew. Our bigger dogs seemed to really enjoy spending time with her and were happy and healthy when we got home. Unfortunately, our smaller dog seemed to have a hard time warming up (she’s never been away from us, so I’m not too surprised) but Teresa did what she could to accommodate her and help her feel cozy and safe. We would definitely recommend and would be happy to have her hang out with our crew again!”

About: I have about 10 years of experience in veterinary medicine. I worked in rescue for 2 years, then general practice for just over 6 years, and have been working in a mobile oncology clinic for the last 2 years. Any medications or special treatments needed are no problem for me. I have provided pet sitting services many times throughout the last 10 years and even prior to working in the veterinary industry I enjoyed helping people care for their animals while out of town for various lengths of time. I currently work 3 days a week in person in oncology and 1 day a week remote. My oncology days vary in hours but typically I start at 7:30am and am done most days before 4:00pm. I have no problem with crating or utilizing any special barriers or set up required to keep your pet safe in your house. I have a specific routine and set up that works for my dog in my own home, so I understand that every pet is a little different and unique.

“Mary-Elizabeth was excellent! She took great care of it 3 cats while we were out. A few of our cats have a semi-complicated medicine regimen and Mary-Elizabeth handled it all without an issue. At the last-minute we had to schedule a few extra drop-in times, due to a sick kitty, and she was more than happy to help us out. Highly recommended!”

“Branden did a fantastic job. Lots of photos, so i knew my pets were happy and relaxed while we were away. Everything perfectly taken care of - pets and house. Fabulous work - highly recommended by us humans and our pets!”

“Katey was great with my cat Douglas Fur! He took to her right away and now they are fast friends. She was prompt, kind, attentive and easy to work with. I will definitely be using Katey to take good care of Doug in the future!”
About: I have lived with and taken care of dogs and cats since I was a small child. I am a teacher, tutor, and love working with kids and see pets as kids. They are integral parts of our families and I show respect and love to all animals I meet! I am currently a tutor and an actor looking to fill my free time with animals and houses! I have lots of free time, and am dedicated to making sure you receive the best service! I am happy to stay in your home, daily visits, anything needed for you and your family! I let the animals set the pace and never force interaction, but I find that they warm up very quickly :)
About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life, and am currently a dog mom to my wonderful fur baby. Throughout the years I have been entrusted to go to peoples houses and care for their dogs, take care of dogs in my own home, and have even been entrusted to care for newborn puppies until they were old enough to go to their homes. I have a special place in my heart for dogs, and I absolutely love any opportunity to meet all kinds of new furry friends and personalities!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
