About: I moved from Mi to Wa in 2015 and decided in 2018 to be a dog walker. That was in King county and after moving to a house in 2021, dog boarding turned into my new side job. Last year I also enrolled in Victoria Stilwell’s Academy for positive training. So I am very aware of dog’s body language and needs. I absolutely love dogs and they are truly my life now but when I was 8 that wasn’t the case. I was bit in the face by a family friend’s dog. He was old and on medication, I startled him awake which led to him biting me. From this incident, I watched Victoria Stilwell on animal planet to get over my fear of bigger dogs and here I am today with a certification in dog training and starting my career with human’s best friend. My goal is for you and your dog to be as comfortable as possible. I only treat dogs/pets as I would want someone to treat mine (and believe me I am a high maintenance pet mom 😉) Dogs are my job. Whether it is boarding, sitting, or walking; this is what I do full time. Sometimes I do Instacart to get out a bit but will do that when my boyfriend is home. I am starting up my bath bomb business again so to have a companion working alongside with me is my ideal work day. My boyfriend works from home majority of the time, so there is always someone home. His kids do come over 50% of the week and are very kind and helpful with dogs that are boarding with me. They are 12 and 11 so they aren’t little kids. I have lick mats, Kong Gyro, and plenty of space for your dog to have fun at my house. My house is fenced in, we are updating the property all the time to make sure it is safe as possible. For larger dogs, I have a bell on a ziptie to put on your dog’s collar just so I can hear where they are at all times when I am outside with them. For smaller pups, I always go outside with them due to being in an open area so they are safe. I also have a 30’ leash that I can hook them to for extra safety. Inside, I make them as comfortable as possible. Whatever they like at home I try my best to provide at my house.
“Highly recommend Carrie if you need a cat sitter! Carrie did check-ins for my senior cat while we were away for 7 days during Thanksgiving week. I was a bit nervous, as I've never had to leave my cat alone for that long before. The meet-and-greet with Carrie alleviated all my worries! She was wonderful with our cat, and gave him so much love, attention, and play time while we were away. Her update reports were always detailed and lovely to read, and she sent tons of great photos with each report. Everything was clean when we returned home (cat box empty/clean, litter swept off the floor). Carrie was always on time for meet-ups, check-ins, key exchanges etc, and is the perfect person to have check-in on your pet! :) I'll definitely be reaching out to her again next time we need someone to check on our cat!”

“Holly was absolutely amazing. She took care of our three cats with such conscientiousness and love which was very evident given their behavior in the pictures she sent us. Two of our boys have health issues and need special food/medication and she handled that very adeptly. We will definitely be reaching out to her anytime we go somewhere. Thanks Holly!”
“Loved having Hope care for our pup. She did 4 drop-in visits with feedings, walks. Gave us welcome feedback on the pup, who seemed well cared-for. Hope was easy to work with, friendly & personable, reliable. She even noticed an unplanned delivery & brought it in for us. Would recommend her with no hesitation!”

About: We take time to get to know each client and organize our space and time around your pet's unique needs. We are not a large boarding facility and we only accept a very small number of pets at a time. As a result, we're able to follow the pace, routine and needs of each dog and cat in our care, helping to keep anxiety low while ensuring they receive enrichment, proper exercise and plenty of snuggles. Your pet will be provided care and socialization without becoming overwhelmed or lost in the pack! I'm currently a stay at home mom to human and fur babies and married to a firefighter who is also home frequently. Aside from the occasional errand, your pet will have constant companionship, interaction, walks, potty breaks and snuggles. Most pets are never alone for the duration of their stay. Being away from home can be hard for pets! Whether boarding overnight for a few days or just a work day away, dogs and cats stay as close to their home routine as possible while in my care. They'll receive plenty of play and stimulation to prevent boredom and have unlimited access to a fully fenced yard and frequent walks to be well exercised. If they just need someone to stop in, they'll receive care and snuggles and you'll have the reassurance that that they're being well taken care of and have everything they need while you're away from them. Your fur baby will be treated like one of the family when they are in my care!
“First time Rover user here, and we chose Jenna to check in on our bengal cat while we were out of town for the holidays. She was a great pet sitter, always quick to respond to messages, and I would happily recommend her. Our cat wasn’t very outgoing, but I could tell Jenna was trying her best to make him feel comfortable while we were away. I appreciated the detailed notes and pictures she left each day. She was very thorough in making sure everything was done that we had asked for.”

“Quinn was great to communicate with and made the whole process really smooth even when my request was last minute. She gave me updates and took great care of Rocky!”

About: Newly establishing myself in Tacoma for pet care after a decade of owning my own walking/boarding company in Seattle, working in veterinary, doggy daycare, and more. My clients enjoy my reliability, safety precautions, professionalism, and extensive experience with canine health and behavior. I love all dogs from puppies to elders, and will happily tailor my services to meet individual needs. Located in Proctor, I’m taking clients across Tacoma. I’m an artist by trade and love supplementing this work with dog walking as it gets me out of the studio and connects me with dogs, nature, and my community. There’s never been a time in my life when I didn’t have a dog. As the ultimate companion, I know how precious they are to their families, and how deeply important it is to care for each client as if they were my own. My boy, Stu, a 7 year old Cambodian pitbull means the world to me, so I make sure to offer the same level of care to my clients as I do to him.
“Arianna did an amazing job with my two senior kitties! She gave them lots of attention and care, even earned the trust of my skittish girly. The updates and photos were above and beyond! I so appreciate the work she did!”

“Alyssa was so sweet when caring for my baby kitten! I definitely felt like Mini was in good hands with her! And she made sure to send SO MANY cute pics 😇 will rebook with Alyssa again!”

“McKenna has been wonderful! We have a spunky 3 month old puppy and she does really well with all of the puppy things! It is a relief to have someone so reliable and knowledgeable. We are thankful to have her in our neck of the woods!”

“Very diligently took notes during the initial home walkthrough, very communicative during each of her visits with the kitties. Overall, a stellar pet-sitting experience and will absolutely be booking her in the future.”

“Rachel is wonderful with our kitty. She is communicative and considerate. She tries to play with Stormy, gives her treats, feeds her, and cleans up after her, and is a great relief that we have her to pet sit when we go out of town. I’d highly suggest her.”

About: Hello! My name is Allen, and I moved to Portland, OR in October 2020 with my Airedale terrier, Busbee (we’re both originally from Atlanta, GA!). By day I’m a CPA, but my true passion is caring for animals. Busbee is an “only child” who absolutely loves playing with other dogs, so we’d be thrilled to host a playmate during the week or over the weekend 💕. I bring many years of pet and dog sitting experience—from quick weekend stays to consecutive months. I also have special expertise in senior dog care. Growing up, my family always had dogs (especially Airedales 😉) and even a guinea pig, so animal care has always been part of my life. Ideally, we’d love to host a friendly, sociable dog or puppy (whether high-energy or laid-back) who enjoys playtime and companionship! I work a flexible 4 day in office schedule. I take my dog Busbee outside and on walks about 4-6 times a day (wake up potty break, after breakfast poop walk, sometimes at lunchtime I come home from office to walk her, after work potty/before dinner time long walk, after dinner poop walk, and lastly bed time final potty before bed). Busbee is crate trained. At night she sleeps on her bed in my bedroom. During the day she has free roam of the house. I will try to replicate whatever my clients’ pet prefers.
