“Win is so kind, responsible and cares about your pets. She does her job so well! This was my first time using Rover and had to find someone kind of last minute to look after our lab with 3 drop in visits per day and one morning visit the next day. Mary and I had a meet and greet and went over everything asap. She is so responsive! After care started I can’t tell you what a relief it was to see Mary’s drop in notes and pics of my doggo smiling with her. Thank you so much Mary and thank you Rover for creating such a slick platform to find pet care!”

“Tara is an amazing pet sitter! She cared for my daughter's and my cats, six altogether, for several days. This was the first time all 6 were left alone so we were a bit apprehensive. She came at the same time everyday and sent photos and short reports on their eating, play etc. We could tell that she cared about them and was carefully monitoring their eating etc. She brought in the mail and offered to bring the trash bins out to the curb on her last visit. Because of all this care my daughter and I had a more relaxing trip knowing that our fur family was in great hands! Many thumbs ? for Tara!”

“Our bloodhounds always take a while to warm up to new people but Jerry was very patient with them and they warmed up pretty quick. You can tell he is a dog person with how he interacts with them. About: I've been a dog owner for the last 10 years, and always get excited when meet a new fur baby! My current pup is a 1 and a half year old Chiweenie named Laszlo, who I've raised from a puppy. I don't discriminate against breeds or age, and your dog will be loved by me, no doubt about it! I love to go on walks, listen to music, and do things outdoors. I take my pups to the dog park as much as possible, as they are very social and thrive from that type of environment, which I will adapt and accommodate according to your dog's needs.

He can be stubborn on his walks, but she worked with him and was able to get him going. I could tell when she first came over to meet Miles that she had a very special connection to animals. About: As a passionate animal lover, I've had many pets growing up. Most of them were cats, but 13 years ago I met my dog, Tasja. She has been reactive, more so in her younger years. Training, exercise, mental stimulation, and consistency were important to help sooth her reactivity. It wasn't always easy, but I've learned a lot! I’m a fairly calm person around animals, especially when first meeting them. I have a decent understanding of their body language, and a lot of that is due to not only working with my dog, but also from working at a vet clinic. Working at a vet clinic in the kennels was one of the most rewarding jobs I have had to date and taught me a lot about how to handle and care for different temperaments/ages. I’m available most week days from 11am-3:30pm. I try to keep my calendar on Rover as updated as I can. I’m unavailable on weekends and some major holidays. Safety and trust are two of my biggest priorities while caring for your animals. On walks, I remain observant of my surroundings, the body language of your pup, and use positive reinforcement. I keep my demeanor calm, especially around reactive/nervous dogs. I‘ll also have water, treats, and doggy bags with me. In your home, I respect your space. I re-fill water bowls and am adamant about making sure the door is locked behind me when I leave.

About: Our family of 3 have had many years caring for dogs. Krystal works from home as an independent contractor, working a few hours each day. She always had a dog to help take care of when growing up. Brian works with the Tacoma Fire Dept and is home on the days that we are available. He has helped with foster dogs for years as a young adult. Both of us will be available to give your dog our full attention! Our 13yo daughter spent the last 6 years helping to care for our own dog, Iden (in pictures). When she is home from school, she will help us make sure your pup is entertained. Sadly, our sweet Iden, who was a corgi/husky mix, passed away unexpectedly in Sept of 2023. While not ready to adopt another fur baby, we have lots of love to give yours, which we look forward to! We live in a 2 bedroom apartment. Our favorite pastime with our own dog was cuddling, so in continuing with that tradition, we allow dogs on our furniture. We will not leave dogs alone in our house, which means potential car rides, walks, and adventures! Our yard is not fenced in, yet we have tons of places to walk nearby in North Tacoma. There is also a fenced in doggie play yard within our complex. Videos and photos will be sent regularly to ensure you know your pet is doing well. Please make sure to text us if you'd like more! We request dogs are fully potty trained. If needed, we have water/food bowls for use, which are always disinfected after each use.
