I’m Kelly. 👋 I have over 15 years of dog care experience and will make sure your pup gets the exercise and attention they deserve. 🐶 I usually only take one or two dogs at a time for doggy daycare. I prefer drop-offs and pick-ups to be after 7am and before 6pm, but I can make exceptions if needed. My partner and I work from home, so I’ll have plenty of time and help to play with your pups! I’m available for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and house sitting during the week and potentially weekends. I have an enormous fenced backyard where we will spend most of our time, and I live in a very quiet and safe neighborhood, perfect for leisurely walks.

I have nursed puppies that lost their mom when I was 8 years old, helped our senior dogs pass over the rainbow bridge, and in my adult life I have rescued 3 adult dogs and raised a puppy. I currently have 2 small pets that live here and are very calm and friendly. I am experienced with senior dogs nearing the end of their life. by providing fluids, medication, special diets, and extra special care and love. Your pets have access to a fenced back yard with potty breaks every 2 hours (unless your dog needs more breaks in cases of puppies or senior dogs), daily walks, and furniture. About: I grew up with dogs and cats as a child, and started doing pet care for neighbors as soon as I could. Caring for pets continued through college, getting connected through friends to walk dogs in between classes. When I moved to the PNW, I discovered Rover and have been sitting and walking ever since. The recent gap in my services was from moving down to University Place and then focusing on my own dog, Winston, for the first two years after his adoption. I am only offering walks and drop-ins (no long term or overnight care). My pup Winston will stay at home whenever I am booked for services so that I can give your pet(s) 100% of my attention. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels and have experience with quite a few behavioral concerns as well. I am very comfortable working with pets that struggle with: - leash reactivity - anxiety around people or other animals - medical issues, including those that require medication administration or emergent care - pain and mobility issues due to aging - food sensitivities/diet restrictions I also love working on dog training whether that’s loose leash walking techniques or just having your pup learn or practice tricks as a part of a drop in visit. I know the feeling of leaving your pet with a Rover sitter for the first time, especially when they have a history of medical issues or anxiety, so I always send detailed updates with photos to keep you at ease. I’m so excited to be starting my services again and hope to meet you and your pets soon! I am taking a break from work before beginning a fully remote role as a consultant in a few months, offering me a ton of flexibility to set my own schedule. Rachel is incredible! She is reliable, punctual and very communicative which is so helpful for our peace of mind when we have to leave small dog. Most importantly I felt she really took care to love on Oliver and give him the attention he needed and took good care of him. She has watched Oliver for a couple of times for us and she was flexible and helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend Rachel!
Xavier is an AMAZING pet sitter. He even got my skiddish cat to run up to him, jump on his lap, and purr after just two days of visiting. He was able to give my other cat her medicine every morning and night with no issues. I will definitly be reaching out to Xavier the next time I need a sitter.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
