“Yet again Juli was a lifesaver! We had a death in the family resulting in my partner staying out of state with family for a month. Our senior cat gets fluids every other day & I couldn't do it myself. So Juli came over every other day for a month to help our cat get fluids. She is a pro!! Don't know what we would do without her!!”

“Our three girls love Erica coming to visit. They get so excited when we say “Erica is going to come see you today”. Rover card is helpful and always good information. She makes sure the girls have fresh water and are safely back in their area. We love the help Erica provides!”

“We are so happy we hired Sierra! Lucy (dog) and Puddles (cat) were well cared for. Puddles requires medication and Sierra followed his routine. Lucy is a skittish Chihuahua that barks and does not like strangers. Within two days she was letting Sierra pet her and greeted her with tail wagging and zoomies. Every day Lucy became more comfortable and allowed belly rubs. Sierra did an excellent job looking after them. We will definitely be reaching out to her the next time we need a pet sitter.”

“Kimberly was the best! She was punctual and had great communication while we were out of town. My little buddy is not use to strangers but he warmed up to her very quickly. Kimberly went above and beyond and would love to rebook her in the future!”

“Christina came to my rescue last minute in a tough situation and has become our weekly walker. I am so incredibly grateful for the consistent help, flexibility, and experience with reactive dogs. Highly recommend!!!”

“Misao is great! She’s taken care of my cat twice. She’s a great communicator and very sweet. Her attention to detail is top notch and I know my sweet boy is in good hands when I’m not there. :)”

“Lydia watched both my cat and dog over a holiday weekend. Great communication, sent me pictures every day. Very thankful to have someone look after them while I was away. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats as a child, and started doing pet care for neighbors as soon as I could. Caring for pets continued through college, getting connected through friends to walk dogs in between classes. When I moved to the PNW, I discovered Rover and have been sitting and walking ever since. The recent gap in my services was from moving down to University Place and then focusing on my own dog, Winston, for the first two years after his adoption. I am only offering walks and drop-ins (no long term or overnight care). My pup Winston will stay at home whenever I am booked for services so that I can give your pet(s) 100% of my attention. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels and have experience with quite a few behavioral concerns as well. I am very comfortable working with pets that struggle with: - leash reactivity - anxiety around people or other animals - medical issues, including those that require medication administration or emergent care - pain and mobility issues due to aging - food sensitivities/diet restrictions I also love working on dog training whether that’s loose leash walking techniques or just having your pup learn or practice tricks as a part of a drop in visit. I know the feeling of leaving your pet with a Rover sitter for the first time, especially when they have a history of medical issues or anxiety, so I always send detailed updates with photos to keep you at ease. I’m so excited to be starting my services again and hope to meet you and your pets soon! I am taking a break from work before beginning a fully remote role as a consultant in a few months, offering me a ton of flexibility to set my own schedule. Once I begin working again, advance notice will make it easier for me to schedule my meetings around Rover bookings. I live in home with my partner in a quiet, dog friendly neighborhood. I typically refrain from off leash activities, interactions with other dogs/people, or rigorous activities like hiking or running unless I have permission from the owners and repeat experience with the pet.
“Briana hands down will always be my first call when I need care for my kitties. She is so kind, responsive and provides updates to give me ample piece of mind when I’m gone.”

“Super friendly and professional, took great care of my cat and kept clear communication to resolve any questions that came up. Would highly recommend and I will be using her services again in the future!”

“Ariana has been a great communicator, reliable and very thorough with my pup! She works hard to be consistent with our training which is so important with a smart, active dog like mine. Highly recommend!”

“Kim is a fantastic sitter. I’ve tried several sitters for my two pups that both have very differing needs, Kim is by far the best. She understands dog’s needs. Leaving the dogs with her adds a level of relaxation to our trips knowing my precious pups are being well cared for.”

“Megan was awesome! She was reliable, caring, and kept us updated throughout. We felt completely comfortable knowing our cat was in great hands. Would absolutely recommend Megan!”

About: I have loved animals my entire life and have extensive experience caring for pets. I grew up with my parents breeding Corgis, which gave me hands-on experience caring for puppies and being involved in the breeding process. I have also grown up with cats my entire life, so I am comfortable caring for and interacting with a variety of pets. In addition, I have cared for family pets and have house-sat for an older dog on and off over the years. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and take pride in providing them with a safe, loving, and attentive environment. My schedule is currently fairly flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I’m typically available throughout the day, especially on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays when I don’t work. On the days I do work, I teach a few group fitness classes in the morning or evening, but I’m available before or after my classes to care for your pets. I live in an apartment, so I’m happy to come to your home and provide whatever care your pets need, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, or simply keeping them comfortable while you’re away. I’m dependable, attentive, and happy to work around your pet’s routine.
“We had such a great experience with Megan! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly has a natural way with dogs. I really appreciate the care and attention she gave them—it gave me so much peace of mind. I’ll definitely be booking with her again! 🐾”

About: Hi! I’m Kelly. 👋 I have over 15 years of dog care experience and will make sure your pup gets the exercise and attention they deserve. 🐶 I usually only take one or two dogs at a time for doggy daycare. I prefer drop-offs and pick-ups to be after 7am and before 6pm, but I can make exceptions if needed. My partner and I work from home, so I’ll have plenty of time and help to play with your pups! I’m available for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and house sitting during the week and potentially weekends. I have an enormous fenced backyard where we will spend most of our time, and I live in a very quiet and safe neighborhood, perfect for leisurely walks.
About: I have two dogs (one small and one big) who I help take care of along with my family. I give them walks, take them swimming, take care of them when my family is on work trips, etc. I am currently working part time as a camp counselor at a summer camp so I have a lots of free time to take care of your animals! I care for my pets by making sure they are as happy as can be and well taken care of. Whether it’s taking them for a swim, playing fetch or cuddling with them on the couch.
“Morgane was fantastic! She took such good care of Kirra and gave her all of her medication perfectly. She sent us the cutest pictures everyday and even picked up some of our package that delivered while we were gone. I highly recommend! Will absolutely book again in the future!”

About: My first love was a German Shepherd at age 3, a gift from my grandfather. Since then I have taken care of many dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and other small fur friends all my life. I am a Forever Foster Mom for small dogs above age 8 for Old Dog Haven and right now take care of one small 15 year old fur friend named Tinker. I also have a 9 year old rescue Golden-doodle named Ava. I love taking care of small Dogs and Kitties (in your own home) so much I do not consider it work! I love taking care of your fur friend while you are at work or enjoy a vacation. I prefer small sized dogs up o 26 lbs. who get along with kitties and are non-aggressive. Oh, and we have a rescue Love Bird named Puffy who absolutely loves talking to visitors from his own "house" smile.. I enjoy meeting you and your furry family member and will take care of them excellently for you. Thank you for choosing our family!

Kenji is my pup’s best friend. Lol I only took a week off and his absence was felt. I work ten hour days and knowing he’s popping in to check on my fur child and getting her outside really gives me peace of mind. He’s incredibly considerate and punctual. Having him this summer has made this career transition so much easier for my fur child and myself and as long as my finances allow, I’ll be reaching out to him for services. Thanks Kenji!

This is the first time we have used this site for pet sitting. We chose Sasha ans Alex for drop-in visits three times a day with some specific instructions on feeding and care. Sasha and Alex nailed it perfectly. Out pets have never been left alone over night without someone in the house. Sasha and Alex cared so well for our pets for the three days that they created a new routine that all three kiddos. We hope to use Rover and especially Sasha and Alex again in the near future. They are phenomenal. Thank you Sasha ans Alex

Dee Anne did a wonderful job watching our kitties, she sent photos everyday, played with them, and made sure they were well taken care of. We will definitely use her whenever we go out of town again, and we would highly recommend her to anyone who needs pet care while they are away.

Kentaro took wonderful care of my baby while I was out of town for two weeks! He took fantastic pictures, long walks and made sure she was happy and healthy. Very reliable, cleaned up her messes and was overall fantastic. I would most definitely recommend him and book him again! Thank you so much!

Kim is a fantastic sitter. I’ve tried several sitters for my two pups that both have very differing needs, Kim is by far the best. She understands dog’s needs. Leaving the dogs with her adds a level of relaxation to our trips knowing my precious pups are being well cared for.

This is the first time we have used Katiana. She came highly recommended from our neighbor. She dropped in the week before her visit to meet the dogs. Then she was very prompt about her arrival time when we had her stop to take care of the dogs midday. We will be relying on her for multiple-day needs in the future.
Ariana has been wonderful with my puppy, Jja-jang. Since it's his first time meeting a sitter, I was a bit nervous, but she made him feel so comfortable right away. She is very patient, kind, and clearly has a natural bond with dogs. Jja-jang was so happy to play with her! I'm so glad I found someone so reliable for my little one.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
