About: I have taken care of family dogs throughout my childhood. People rely on me to not only walk and feed their dogs but make sure they are taken care of in ways that are specific to them. I currently have a very energetic Aussie who is 1 year old. I have learned many helpful tools that have helped me with his overall growth. I am a full-time graduate student currently embarking on a unique journey while traveling alongside my wife, who works as a travel nurse. In addition to my academic pursuits, I cherish the opportunity to explore my love for animals, particularly through the enjoyable activity of walking dogs. We had a wedding to attend and needed someone to check in on our fur kids (Nala, Zeus, Tank, and Milo) — and he totally nailed it. From the jump, he was super chill, responsive, and just on it. About: As a volunteer at the Anchorage Animal Care and Control Center for many years, I had the opportunity to participate in many different trainings related to pet care and work with pets of many different temperaments and training levels. Having a degree in psychology, I am excellent at rooting out behavior issues and resolving them with the help of the pet parents. As a life-long pet parent myself, I understand the importance of your furry friend in your life, and I will do all I can to ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness. I am currently in graduate school online, so my schedule is busy but flexible. I am most available in the afternoons and evenings, but I am happy to work with you on time. Specific instructions from pet parents are always followed, except in the rare event that it would be unsafe to do so, in which case I contact the pet parents immediately. For walks, I always ensure the dog(s) have access to clean water before and after; I check the leash and collars for damage, and ensure I have poop bags with me; walking routes are chosen to reduce interaction with traffic; other dogs are given a wide berth. For in-home care, dogs will be taken outside every 2-4 hours; their enclosures will be checked for damage or openings prior to being let out; feeding instructions will be followed closely; animals will receive pets and brushes and may even learn a new trick. For overnights, pets will be allowed to sleep in bed with me if they are accustomed to sleeping with a human.

About: I have taken care of lots of animals since I was little. I have lots of expirence with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, bunnies. I have used pet pads, litter boxes, training tequniques for dogs to sit, shake, lay down and roll over and to wait. I have worked with new born puppies/kittens to elderly animals. 😍 I have worked with really shy doggos to some super cuddly oversize lap dogs with all the energy. 🤪😂🩷 I only work part time, and I have weekends off and afternoon evenings off so I have plenty of time to play with furry friends! I have leashes, and am comfortable going on lots of walks in nearby areas. I can offer treats and some toys if the client would like.

About: I have loved and cared for dogs aged 3 months to elderly for most of my life. They have been a constant companion ever since my first day at my family home. Having owned and raised minimally 3 dogs at a time, I have learned a great deal on proper treatment and behavior reading. I still have two old men I care for now, both with medical care that’s required of me. I love meeting new friends and respecting their needs! I work part time, with shorter shifts, so I have availability minimum twice a day, early to late morning and late afternoon thru the evening. My schedule is open and relatively flexible. I am happy to provide any necessary services including walks, food prep, medicine giving, socializing, play time, and calm restful visits :) Whatever my furry friend will need.
