About: I grew up with dogs and cats as a child, and started doing pet care for neighbors as soon as I could. Caring for pets continued through college, getting connected through friends to walk dogs in between classes. When I moved to the PNW, I discovered Rover and have been sitting and walking ever since. The recent gap in my services was from moving down to University Place and then focusing on my own dog, Winston, for the first two years after his adoption. I am only offering walks and drop-ins (no long term or overnight care). My pup Winston will stay at home whenever I am booked for services so that I can give your pet(s) 100% of my attention. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels and have experience with quite a few behavioral concerns as well. I am very comfortable working with pets that struggle with: - leash reactivity - anxiety around people or other animals - medical issues, including those that require medication administration or emergent care - pain and mobility issues due to aging - food sensitivities/diet restrictions I also love working on dog training whether that’s loose leash walking techniques or just having your pup learn or practice tricks as a part of a drop in visit. I know the feeling of leaving your pet with a Rover sitter for the first time, especially when they have a history of medical issues or anxiety, so I always send detailed updates with photos to keep you at ease. I’m so excited to be starting my services again and hope to meet you and your pets soon! I am taking a break from work before beginning a fully remote role as a consultant in a few months, offering me a ton of flexibility to set my own schedule. Once I begin working again, advance notice will make it easier for me to schedule my meetings around Rover bookings. I live in home with my partner in a quiet, dog friendly neighborhood. I typically refrain from off leash activities, interactions with other dogs/people, or rigorous activities like hiking or running unless I have permission from the owners and repeat experience with the pet.

About: Hi there! I grew up with dogs and for the last nine years, have been a mom to my beloved chiweenie named Fynn. Friends, family members, and clients trust me with their dogs, for both short and long term stays, and I’d love to care for your pup. Fynn is very active, so we do at least two long walks a day. I live in the North End, so frequently walk in Puget Park and am always happy to take pups to Point Defiance depending on exercise needs. Of course, if your dog needs more rest, I’ll take that into account as well. I have experience caring for senior dogs and administering medication. I like to make sure the daily routine of your animal is as close to it usually is. I keep dogs on leashes no matter what when on walks! And usually keep them contained when loading anything in or out to avoid any running away/chasing them around kind of drama. Anything you recommended to me or want me to do I will make sure happens to ensure your pets & home are safe. For boarding I have a very large fenced back yard with a locked gate which is the only access outside. There's also neighborhoods around with side walks for walks. I do have a hotel styled lock at the top of my front door that makes it impossible for the kids to accidentally open it and let any animals out. I also usually for boarding attach an air tag to the animal while they are at my house for extra precaution. No such thing as too safe!

About: Dogs love me and I love them. I have had pets all my life and currently have a sweet female Pomeranian and a male chihuahua who get lots of love and care. Both of my dogs are 5 years old and get along well with other dogs once acquainted. My small pack loves to have another small dog or 2 come stay with us for a day or longer. Long stays very welcome. My kids (11 and 14) also like to love on our doggie guests! Most importantly I will respect your wishes and boundaries while taking care of your precious babies and keep in touch while you are away. I am semi-retired and I have a very flexible work from home part time job so plenty of time for dog care. I take the dogs out for 2 walks per day weather permitting and have lots of toys for them to play with. One of my dogs is crate trained when I need to go out, but the smaller one roams free. Whatever is best for your dog is fine with me. I will take great care of your babies and am open to pretty much any requests for small/medium dog care.

“Cami and her husband Jimmy were wonderful! We left our 2 dogs with them for 3 nights while we went on vacation and I couldn’t be happier with how things went. They followed instructions given, they sent daily pictures and Jimmy even took our babies on a little road trip for a pup cup! (They asked if our dogs had any food allergies or dietary restrictions beforehand). They have a big beautiful yard that is fully fenced and secure and our 2 dogs loved it. We will definitely be using them again if they’ll have us!”

I met her family and the kids were very excited to meet my dog. When we came to pick him up, the kids wanted to know when my dog could come again. “This was our first time using Jena. We have two doodles, one of them quite ancient (16 y.o.) with some age-related health issues. Jena was up for the challenge and gave both dogs a great 5-day vacation at her house. She even let the old timer sleep in the bed with her! They went for daily walks, got their medicine, and had plenty to eat. Jena texted us daily pics and updates. We never felt any anxiety about leaving our dogs in her care and will certainly be happy to ask her to care for our dogs again.”
