About: I love being around dogs. I’ve had them my whole life, and for the last 14 years I’ve raised my own—from puppy days all the way to senior care. My current dog is a total ball of energy, so I trained him to run with me while I bike, which has made me super patient and good with active pups. Dogs staying with me get a big yard to roam and a trail close by for walks or runs. I’m comfortable adjusting to whatever a dog needs—lots of activity, slow strolls, or just some company. I work remotely so I'm able to do boarding anytime. I do occasional walks around the neighborhood. We have a park right behind our home with a great trail to walk. About: I have owned or cared for dogs my entire life, with the occasional rodent or scaled creature thrown in. Hopefully not at the same time. I’m comfortable with basic wound cleaning as well as administering medication. After a period working in a pet store I’m also more skilled in ear cleaning, breathing treatments, and temperature taking than I’d care to be. Work situation changed so I’m more open to daytime walks and drop ins. I also keep a weird sleep schedule so if you need a late night drop in or walk, hit me up. Update: I did recently get a dog. He’s a young doodle and prefers to chew on my hair and hands more than toys, but gets along well with other dogs. He sure everyone wants to be his friend. He is young, potty trained and a great playmate. So right now the only way I’m able to sit is if your dog would like new bestie. I am unable to care for pets in my home. I live with my niece and her cat can be a little…stabby, for lack of a better word. In your home, I’ll be following your lead. I do tend to go outside with dogs at night, even with fenced yards. I am always wary of bobcats and coyotes looking for water and snacks. I’m also perfectly comfortable with a pile of animals sleeping in bed with me so if that’s what your animals prefer, I’m here for it.

I have three dogs of my own (one is a cat but she thinks she’s the head dog I think that counts right?), so I’m very familiar with different personalities, routines, quirks, and the little details that make each pet feel comfortable and cared for. I’m especially comfortable with pets who need consistency, patience, enrichment, or a little extra attention. My professional background is in household management, where I’ve spent years coordinating busy households, managing detailed routines, and making sure nothing gets missed. I bring that same level of organization and reliability to pet care—but with a lot more belly rubs. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, communicate with you throughout their stay, and treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. Whether your dog needs a good walk, some playtime, companionship, or simply someone dependable to keep their routine on track, I’d love to help! I am currently a business owner who works from home Tuesday through Friday with very flexible hours. My fiance is also home in the evenings and helps to keep the pups and kitty on their normal routine plus some extra hardcore playtime. Our normal routine is early morning sniff walkie (we call the shorty since we don’t get very far) then they nap the afternoon away and by 3pm we take our longer walk to stretch the muscles. 15-20 minutes of bully stick, lick mat, or mobility training (our senior gal is working on building muscle strength) in the late evenings and then they practice long self regulation relaxation on their own “place” while we work out in the gym. This is all in a perfect world! We try to teach them mental and emotional regulation so they can feel satisfied and we keep all our hair on our heads!
