About: Growing up, I helped my family raise cats and for the past 10 years, I’ve spoiled my dogs every day. A few years ago, my wife and I boarded dogs. One Christmas, we were caring for 11 dogs, not to mention our newborn baby. Currently, I have a senior beagle with special care needs and two active, adorable 2-year-old rescue dogs. I also have 2 cats, 4 chickens, and 2 mostly non-feral human children. I work M-F 9-5, so I’m available in the early mornings, midday, and at night. Usually available anytime on the weekends. I have 2 kids under the age of 7, so sometimes things come up which might cause a delay in my schedule, like if my child spills an entire smoothie on herself moments before we leave for a birthday party; that sort of thing. Given that, I can commit to roughly a 1-hour window, not a precise time, when I can drop in to check on your pets. My senior beagle lives a relaxed life of doggy retirement on our couch and, on sunny days, in the backyard. My other dogs love running around our big backyard. I’m comfortable taking care of any needs your dog or cat has, such as crating them, brushing them, and giving them meds.

About: Dogs love me and I love them. I have had pets all my life and currently have a sweet female Pomeranian and a male chihuahua who get lots of love and care. Both of my dogs are 5 years old and get along well with other dogs once acquainted. My small pack loves to have another small dog or 2 come stay with us for a day or longer. Long stays very welcome. My kids (11 and 14) also like to love on our doggie guests! Most importantly I will respect your wishes and boundaries while taking care of your precious babies and keep in touch while you are away. I am semi-retired and I have a very flexible work from home part time job so plenty of time for dog care. I take the dogs out for 2 walks per day weather permitting and have lots of toys for them to play with. My dogs like temporary additions to our pack and one or two more is no problem to add to our routine. Very dog friendly backyard! Safe secure duplex property. One of my dogs is crate trained when I need to go out, but the smaller one roams free. Whatever is best for your dog is fine with me. I will take great care of your babies and am open to pretty much any requests for small/medium dog care.
About: I have experience with cats, dogs, and even horses. I've grown up with cats and dogs so I am used to checking the litter box, water, going for walks, and more. I also believe growing up with animals has given me a personal understanding of how important it is to have a good pet sitter, for your pets as well as you. Every day I take care of our family dog by either taking him to the park (about 3 times a week) or for a walk around the neighborhood, I also feed breakfast to all the animals if they still need it, as well as checking the water bowl. I also try and give them some play time everyday, either one on one or as a group if they are feeling extra playful. When pet/house sitting I feed breakfast and dinner, at a set time if needed. I also refill waters and give treats if it is given the okay, or just an extra part of their schedule. For example, I looked after a dog who got a carrot as a treat after breakfast. I can also put animals in crates if desired.

“Amanda did awesome caring for our Boston Terrier, Moses. She sent photo updates regularly and even let him sleep with them in the bed after I let her know how much he loves to snuggle and be close to humans! I feel like she knows what she is doing as she cares for all the dogs needs that are in her care! I recommend her to anyone looking for a place to board their pup and I will definitely be calling again to board, Moses. (probably towards the end of March) :)”
“Fabulous experience! I was super worried about leaving my pup, as he is a bit submissive and can regress pretty quickly. Elizabeth was amazing with him, he quickly decided he liked her and seemed very comfortable in her house. Elizabeth kept me updated, sent me pictures and treated my guy just the way I do (super spoiled). He came home happy, tired and for the first time, I didn’t worry the whole time I was away. I can’t thank her enough, very positive experience!”

“Truly not enough good things to say about Ethan and our experience with him caring for our dog, Taco. From the beginning, Ethan was super responsive and easy to communicate with him. We right away felt at ease leaving our dog with Ethan and it just worked out perfectly. Every day, Ethan sent us videos and pictures, and it was clear he was loving on our dog as much as he does his own. I’m usually a worry wart when it comes to leaving my dog with anyone. Not this time. And Taco even came home smelling fresh, Ethan bathed him before pickup! More importantly, Taco was a happy pup.”

We have two standard poodles with individual issues: our sweet boy is a spoiled little prince who has only been boarded once, and it stresses him out, and our rehomed girl is afraid of new people and crowds. Jena was so good with them, very soon our girl, Oola, was her new best friend, and soon her children's friend too. Jena's kids are wonderful with the dogs too, and Jena sent lots of photo updates — and her skills as a photographer are excellent. She followed our instructions to a 't,' and we feel confident to leave our babies with her anytime. Jena goes out of her way to accommodate, but more than that she has a calming, and very 'present' presence.”

Our 11 year old husky/aussie mix is a nervous Nelly, and since we lost our senior pug last year, he's been a little out of sorts, as they were raised together and best friends. I am always nervous to leave our bear, but Duri met us in advance, answered all our questions and took such loving care of Ted with regular updates that made us smile. Would 100% recommend her as a sitter!”

He makes himself right at home and Jennifer and her husband are always so sweet to him. Taking care of a 120 lb dog can be challenging, but they do an excellent job. I would definitely recommend Jennifer to others.”
