“Met Amanda, Jeff, and Yoda.. All 3 were super friendly, and took excellent care of my 1.5yo Catahoula (Zara) while I was out of town for 2 days. My pup may have even had too much fun.. She was moping around the rest of the night after I picked her up.. I think she was missing all of them ! If the need ever arose again, I would not hesitate to contact Amanda and Jeff. TYVM !”

“Jena is great! Good communication, her home is very dog friendly and safe. I feel very comfortable trusting my babies to stay with her and her family. They were very happy and nonstressed when I picked them up. Will definitely use her services again!”

“Dee Anne is such a sweetheart and we're so grateful for how she takes care of Max! He is so excited to spend time with her with all the quality play time and rest and adventures they have. It's a little vacation for him to stay with Dee Anne when we can't take him out of town with us and it's so meaningful to us that she's so genuinely loving, thoughtful, and kind!”

“First time using Rover. Molly, her pups and home environment were very welcoming. My old dog has an expensive dislike to the crowded and noisy concrete boarding facilities. She seemed to enjoy staying in a quiet home like setting with a great backyard and a calming human. I will definitely use Molly again. Convenient and quick drop off and pick up. Thank you!”

“Heather was great! She was communicative and very competent and trustworthy. She seems to have a good system in place for taking care of multiple dogs and making sure each individual dog feels comfortable and their needs are met. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Lizzie was GREAT with our sweet pup! Very accommodating and caring, and sent a delightful photo update during his stay. We would highly recommend her to others! Thank you Lizzie!!”

“Ethan is great! I was very nervous leaving my little guy with him but he was confident and very prepared. He sent frequent photos and videos even though it was for one day. We will definitely be booking with him again!!”

“I am thrilled to have come across Kana. Since we are only here for the summer, I needed someone to look after my energetic 11-month-old pug, Pedro. He had a fantastic time with Kana and Brian! Thank you so much for taking care of him, we are very grateful!”

“Jennifer watched my pup Phinney this weekend and it looked like he had a blast!! She was responsive and kind, making time for a meet and greet before. We will definitely be reaching out in the future and are so appreciative for her (and Argus!!) who took great care of our fur baby.”

“Great person to comfortably take care of your pets! Larissa made sure we got photos and informed about any type of updates on our fur baby. I would definitely let her host my puppy again anytime any day!”

“Absolutely LOVE Tobi. Ceba is "dead" after each visit after playing with Tobi's own two plus any other visitors. The fact that Tobi takes only small dogs is a huge plus for us, as Ceba is only 9 pounds, and won't play with bigger dogs (we also have a 19# cat so she's a little intimidated automatically :) ) but loves to frolic with others her size. We will continue to use Tobi as we travel each time. Thank you!!! Happy New Year!”
“Alyssa was very dependable, caring & made sure to update us on our kitties progress. Our cat is very shy & scared but managed to warm up to Alyssa & cuddle with her. Told us a lot & would definitely recommend her & trust her again for our scaredy cat! She is a gem!!”

“Andrea is the perfect pet sitter! She sent us updates and provided photos and videos every day. She really connected with our Maltipoo and adhered to our schedule giving him a seamless transition to a new environment. I will definitely book her excellent service again and so should you!”

“Duri and her entire family were incredibly loving and caring towards our little girl. Ellie's days were filled with multiple walks, playtime and snuggle time! Ellie is 19 months old, VERY energetic and VERY curious. She wants to be in the middle of everything and Duri and her husband made Ellie feel like she was part of the family. Duri immediately put my husband and I at ease because she has a quiet confidence and comfort around dogs. She is obviously very experienced with all types of dogs and she immediately knew how to handle Ellie with gentle firmness. We met with multiple sitters before we met Duri and we feel so fortunate to have found her! We highly recommend her - she dog sits because she loves dogs, first and foremost, payment is secondary. Thank you Duri (and husband and son and granddaughter and grandson)!!!”

“Took excellent care of our active young dog. Sent photos and videos daily. He definitely had a good time playing with her dogs! Thank you for all your help while we were away!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Aliesha and we’re really glad we did. She took great care of our two boys. We knew after our meet and greet that her and her sweet dog Otto would be perfect for our pups. They seemed to fit right in and got along perfectly. Our boys came home happy healthy and exhausted from all the play time! Will definitely use again!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - University Place
I’ve never boarded my dog before, and it was incredibly stressful. However, I had a work obligation that required me to travel out of town. Larissa went above and beyond to alleviate my concerns. Gracie and I had a meet and greet, and Gracie seemed very comfortable meeting Larissa and her two pups. Gracie stayed with Larissa for two weeks with a break over the weekend. Larissa was fantastic in keeping me updated and sending pictures. Larissa was also very accommodating to any slight changes in my schedule. I highly recommend Larissa.

I was able to board my dog Tex at Leslie’s on short notice and it turned out to be a great fit. Her dog Bruce is very well trained and got along great with my dog, who’s more interested in human friends than other dogs. She was able to administer his medication with no issues and kept the pups happy and active. She’s reliable, communicative, and took great care of Tex. I will definitely board my dog with her again! :)

Very please with using Dorian to watch our dog. I have zero complaints. We have a very active pit mix puppy. He had no problem calming him and making him feel at home. Took him for walks often and treated him kindly. Will definitely be the first person I ask next time I need someone.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
