I am kind, gentle and caring and good with most dogs; 2 dog family (down to 1 dog now) since 2004. My dogs love my cooking and are always interested in my activities, especially in the kitchen. I'm also outside a lot tending my garden so my dogs get plenty of outside air and sunshine.

Kana took great care of our sweet Ruby! She felt right at home, and enjoyed the company with other small dogs. Lots of outdoor playtime, and indoor snuggles. Kana was also very accommodating when vacation plans changed due to forest fires. I recommend Kana for your small dog’s vacation home!

For years we’ve been searching for a doggy daycare where our two small pups will feel safe and play. We’ve finally found that with Kana and Brian. They make everything easy, communicate well, and our dogs come home happy and tired. We’ve worked with them three times already and look forward to more visits.

I had such a great stay! I loved running around the yard, playing with the other dogs, and getting lots of treats and attention. My humans said the communication was excellent—they received updates and knew I was having a wonderful time. I’d definitely love to come back for another stay!

Schedule
I am a stay-at-home housewife and always have time for pet services any day of the week. The area around Chambers Bay is a great place for dog walking with both sun and shade available along the trail and the sidewalk. It's very lovely here looking out across the golf course, over Puget Sound and at the Olympic Mountains.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large, fully fenced back yard with plenty of grass, sun and shade and is quite good for day care or boarding. We also have a home security system with high definition exterior cameras in the front, back, and side yards. The dogs can shelter inside as required. On warm and hot days we run our AC so inside is always cool and comfortable. The dogs can lay near the blowing AC floor vents and the couple floor fans we have. They always have an inside place to escape the heat. On smokey days with poor air quality the dogs will stay inside.
Pets
A typical day
All the dogs love it here in our back yard with plenty of activity from playing fetch, chasing each other around, laying or digging in our large sand box, and watching for rabbits, squirrels and sometimes deer. And from the low traffic, dead-end street behind my yard, watching other dogs and their owners, bicyclists, joggers, etc. pass by. The dogs can lay in the sun or shade and run up and down the back fence playing with the other passing dogs. There is also Chambers Primary School directly across the street from our back yard with plenty of children and their outside activities to add some young life to the neighborhood throughout the school day.
