I have been pet sitting for roommates and friends for over 10 years but am new to Rover. My partner, Dan, and I work from home full-time and have fairly flexible schedules, so caring for your dog during the day will give us an excuse to take a break and go for a walk :) I will be the one doing the dog walking and drop-ins, but both Dan and I will be available for play time and care when your dog stays with us. I have experience caring for and walking dogs with high-anxiety that are fearful of new people and animals as well as high-energy dogs that require lots of daily exercise. I also have experience administering medications to dogs, raising puppies, walking older dogs, and caring for cats.

Walter loves play-dates and sleepovers with Gracie. I think he secretly likes how aggressive she is with her affection towards him. lol. In all seriousness. We love being able to have Walter in Lauren’s(and Dan too!) care. Appreciate the photo/text updates and that Walter is treated like family while he is there.

Lauren was great with our dogs. They can be standoffish, but she had them playing ball and sitting with her faster than most sitters we have had. It was nice to have someone come in the middle of the day when we could not be there. She let me know when she arrived and when she left. She sent cute dog videos every day. It was fun to see their interaction with Lauren going well. Thanks so much Lauren!
Wouldn’t trust our Walter with anyone else. We were out of town for 17 days and we were provided with updates and photos. Thanks again for EVERYTHING!

Schedule
Dan and I both work from home most days and we love to go on long walks around our neighborhood, Point Defiance, or Chambers Bay. We both have pretty flexible schedules during the week as well as weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced backyard and a very pet friendly house. Gracie is allowed on all of our furniture and your dog will be too (unless you don't want that). We also have dog gates and can easily divide the house in half for eating times or anything else. We will follow whatever requests you have for your pet's care :)

A typical day
Long or short walks, short runs, playing ball at the park or in our back yard, hikes, lick mats or food games, whatever you and your dog want!
