“Lydia watched both my cat and dog over a holiday weekend. Great communication, sent me pictures every day. Very thankful to have someone look after them while I was away. Highly recommend!”

“Amber is fantastic as always! She has been very accommodating with my schedule changes and our needs. It has been so great having someone so kind and dependable for daily check ins. She is amazing with my 2 dogs and excellent with communication. I highly recommend her! :) 10 stars!”

“Highly recommend Carrie if you need a cat sitter! Carrie did check-ins for my senior cat while we were away for 7 days during Thanksgiving week. I was a bit nervous, as I've never had to leave my cat alone for that long before. The meet-and-greet with Carrie alleviated all my worries! She was wonderful with our cat, and gave him so much love, attention, and play time while we were away. Her update reports were always detailed and lovely to read, and she sent tons of great photos with each report. Everything was clean when we returned home (cat box empty/clean, litter swept off the floor). Carrie was always on time for meet-ups, check-ins, key exchanges etc, and is the perfect person to have check-in on your pet! :) I'll definitely be reaching out to her again next time we need someone to check on our cat!”

“Haley is a very professional and caring provider. She was extremely thoughtful caring for my cats during the hot days. She went out of her way to place cool treats and made sure they were not dehydrated. That’s a level of care I find highly valuable. Will schedule Haley again.”

“Kim is a fantastic sitter. I’ve tried several sitters for my two pups that both have very differing needs, Kim is by far the best. She understands dog’s needs. Leaving the dogs with her adds a level of relaxation to our trips knowing my precious pups are being well cared for.”

“Very communicative and friendly. They left my house clean and smelling good despite the new wet food diet the cats are on. Yuck! No wet food smell or litter box smells! We came home to happy cats. Thanks!!”
About: Hello! Thanks for stopping by! I have experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc. We also have some experience with pigs, cows, and horses :)... from 4-H to my husband's family's ranch. I also have experience giving medications to cats and dogs and taking care of pets that have seizures & diabetes. My husband and I have boarded pups in our home(s) for years, as well as I have walked and provided in-home visits, through Rover and a friend's pet-sitting company. We also used to foster dogs & puppies. :) A lot of our pictures are from when we used to live in Florida. After a number of years as a travel nurse, and taking care of pets while home between contracts in Ohio, we decided Tacoma is a wonderful place to live! We currently only board up to a maximum of 3 pups. We have a large fenced in yard, and hiking or walking (or swimming!) with pups is one of my favorite activities. :) I do have a part-time remote job for half the year, and I work very prn hours as a nurse. I absolutely love doing this, but please note I can't promise verbal "holds" for weeks. Rover penalizes you for this, plus it's difficult to know how to respond to others. We also don't know as many people or resources in Tacoma compared to previous places we've lived, so we are also not in a position to semi-permanently take in additional pets at this time or be super helpful in helping you find a new home for your pet. Sorry - and thanks!! At this time, I work a couple of per diem jobs, and I have a part-time remote job for part of the year. Walking / hiking with my dogs is one of my favorite activities, so I'm happy to do the same with yours! We can personalize the care and scheduling at your home to your liking. I imagine this would be easier to work out on a case by case basis :) Guest pups are never left out in the yard unattended. In the event I need to leave for short periods while we have guest pups, we have plenty of space and rooms to keep pups separate and comfortable.

“Chris is AMAZING!!!! I can’t say enough good things! Not only does my pup LOVE their walks and play time, he LOVES staying at his house and getting to play with Chris’ pups and family. Chris was adaptable to my wonky work schedule and able to help me out with last minute requests. I trust Chris and his family 100% with my pup!!”

“Micayla is reliable and very communicative. She checks on my cat when I'm out of town. I always feel that my home is safer when she visits everyday, and I know my cat is well taken care of and well loved when she comes over. We love Micayla, and highly recommend her!”

“Jen has been amazing when caring for my doggies. Jen takes very good care of the girls. She is very good at communicating and flexible if drop-in times need to change. I definitely recommend.”

“Rachel is wonderful with our kitty. She is communicative and considerate. She tries to play with Stormy, gives her treats, feeds her, and cleans up after her, and is a great relief that we have her to pet sit when we go out of town. I’d highly suggest her.”

“Brieanna was just fantastic! Every day she sent a brief journal and lots of photos. Clearly she spent time with my kitties and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!”

“Morgane was fantastic! She took such good care of Kirra and gave her all of her medication perfectly. She sent us the cutest pictures everyday and even picked up some of our package that delivered while we were gone. I highly recommend! Will absolutely book again in the future!”

About: The last 2-3 years i have been pet/house sitting full-time. I absolutely take pride in people trusting me in their homes and with their fur babies! I enjoy getting to know your pets. Watching their personalities and making sure they are taken care of while you are away. Know that if you choose me to take care of your pets, I will take care of them to the best of my ability. As if they're my own. Ive worked with elderly pets who need daily medication, feral cats that need a bit more love and patience, and cuddly and playful kitties. When approaching any animal, i make sure to do so while keeping an eye on their body language and making sure they show me signs of feeling safe. Disclaimer: Although, i have worked with feral cats that have had minor behavioral issues, i do not feel comfortable working with any animal (dogs or cats) that has extreme behavior problems (such as aggression at the sight of a new person or attacking even when they're not being interacted with, etc). If you're interested with working with me, we can talk about your pet and see if its something i feel like i can manage and be comfortable with. I currently do not have any other employment. Meaning i have a lot of time to care or your pets while you're away. I do take public transportation. So would have to factor that into getting to and from your home. I prefer to care for your pets in your home. I will make sure to follow the given thorough instruction for feeding and walking schedule, play, medication, etc.

Kentaro took wonderful care of my baby while I was out of town for two weeks! He took fantastic pictures, long walks and made sure she was happy and healthy. Very reliable, cleaned up her messes and was overall fantastic. I would most definitely recommend him and book him again! Thank you so much!

Kim is a fantastic sitter. I’ve tried several sitters for my two pups that both have very differing needs, Kim is by far the best. She understands dog’s needs. Leaving the dogs with her adds a level of relaxation to our trips knowing my precious pups are being well cared for.

This is the first time we have used Katiana. She came highly recommended from our neighbor. She dropped in the week before her visit to meet the dogs. Then she was very prompt about her arrival time when we had her stop to take care of the dogs midday. We will be relying on her for multiple-day needs in the future.
Ariana has been wonderful with my puppy, Jja-jang. Since it's his first time meeting a sitter, I was a bit nervous, but she made him feel so comfortable right away. She is very patient, kind, and clearly has a natural bond with dogs. Jja-jang was so happy to play with her! I'm so glad I found someone so reliable for my little one.

My pets are my family and I'm super particular when it comes to them. I have a 9 month Mali puppy and so it's really important who comes around her at this age. As such, leaving them is hard for me because that's always on my mind. Long story short - If Kevin had more availability, I would be doing a lot more traveling lol. Punctual, knowledgable, kind, clean, thorough and goes above and beyond. We are so lucky we found him!
