“Very communicative and friendly. They left my house clean and smelling good despite the new wet food diet the cats are on. Yuck! No wet food smell or litter box smells! We came home to happy cats. Thanks!!”
“Kim is a fantastic sitter. I’ve tried several sitters for my two pups that both have very differing needs, Kim is by far the best. She understands dog’s needs. Leaving the dogs with her adds a level of relaxation to our trips knowing my precious pups are being well cared for.”

“My pets are my family and I'm super particular when it comes to them. I have a 9 month Mali puppy and so it's really important who comes around her at this age. As such, leaving them is hard for me because that's always on my mind. Long story short - If Kevin had more availability, I would be doing a lot more traveling lol. Punctual, knowledgable, kind, clean, thorough and goes above and beyond. We are so lucky we found him!”

“Bobbi is top notch and great communicator. She provides really good updates and photos. Our cat is in diabetic remission and she really understood how important his feeding were with her updates. Our cat looked happy after we came back. We highly recommend her. We will 100% be booking again. Thank you Bobbi.”

About: I have been around a variety of animals in a farm setting for most of my life. I am used to working with and caring for animals. I have a dog of my own whose 3 yrs old this May and is the light of my life. His name is Bojack and he loves to meet new friends! Let us meet yours ! I am a full time Early Childhood Educator, which means I usually only have the afternoons on the weekdays. I am available all Sat. and Sun. to help care for your babies though! My dog Bojack is usually at the dog parks on a sunday enjoying the sunshine when we can. After a short walk on the weekdays our average day looks like working on puzzles or snuggling. I take pride in my work and punctuality. I also take the trust put into me to care for your furbaby very seriously. They mean the world to you so they also mean the same for me<3
“Dee Anne did a wonderful job watching our kitties, she sent photos everyday, played with them, and made sure they were well taken care of. We will definitely use her whenever we go out of town again, and we would highly recommend her to anyone who needs pet care while they are away.”

“Brieanna was just fantastic! Every day she sent a brief journal and lots of photos. Clearly she spent time with my kitties and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!”

“Holly was absolutely amazing. She took care of our three cats with such conscientiousness and love which was very evident given their behavior in the pictures she sent us. Two of our boys have health issues and need special food/medication and she handled that very adeptly. We will definitely be reaching out to her anytime we go somewhere. Thanks Holly!”
“Jen has been amazing when caring for my doggies. Jen takes very good care of the girls. She is very good at communicating and flexible if drop-in times need to change. I definitely recommend.”

“Arianna did an amazing job with my two senior kitties! She gave them lots of attention and care, even earned the trust of my skittish girly. The updates and photos were above and beyond! I so appreciate the work she did!”

“Amber has been amazing with my little dogs Cora and Ruger! Ruger can be loud and Cora is shy and Amber is so good with them. They are happy every day when I get home. Amber is dependable and great with communication. I'm grateful that we have found her and hope she keeps coming for drop in visits!”

“We are repeat customers of Haley and it’s a huge relief knowing she’s taking care of our boys. She’s always reliable and goes above and beyond to make sure they are ok. We look forward to our next trip knowing we won’t need to worry about the boys when they’re in Haley’s hands!”

About: In my home, your dog isn’t just a guest — they’re family. I have a cozy space and a large backyard where they can play and relax. For years, friends and family have trusted me to care for their pets, and I’d love to extend that same care to you. Pet care is easy to fit into my daily and weekly routine. I typically spend time in the morning to let your dog out and feed before leaving for work, and take your dog on a walk around the neighborhood. I have a fenced large backyard, live in a safe quiet neighborhood. Depending on the service you choose I can guarantee that our nice and quiet home would be a great place for your dog to relax, play, and go on long walks (if they’re able).
“Christy is the absolute best. She takes care of our babies like they are her own. I can’t speak more highly of Christy - from thinking to turn the TV on to entertain them when we are gone to cleaning up after our dog when he tracks in mud - she is an absolute angel to work with. If I could give more stars I would ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!”

Kentaro took wonderful care of my baby while I was out of town for two weeks! He took fantastic pictures, long walks and made sure she was happy and healthy. Very reliable, cleaned up her messes and was overall fantastic. I would most definitely recommend him and book him again! Thank you so much!

This is the first time we have used Katiana. She came highly recommended from our neighbor. She dropped in the week before her visit to meet the dogs. Then she was very prompt about her arrival time when we had her stop to take care of the dogs midday. We will be relying on her for multiple-day needs in the future.
Ariana has been wonderful with my puppy, Jja-jang. Since it's his first time meeting a sitter, I was a bit nervous, but she made him feel so comfortable right away. She is very patient, kind, and clearly has a natural bond with dogs. Jja-jang was so happy to play with her! I'm so glad I found someone so reliable for my little one.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in University Place with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
