I grew up with dogs and cats as a child, and started doing pet care for neighbors as soon as I could. Caring for pets continued through college, getting connected through friends to walk dogs in between classes. When I moved to the PNW, I discovered Rover and have been sitting and walking ever since. The recent gap in my services was from moving down to University Place and then focusing on my own dog, Winston, for the first two years after his adoption. I am only offering walks and drop-ins (no long term or overnight care). My pup Winston will stay at home whenever I am booked for services so that I can give your pet(s) 100% of my attention. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels and have experience with quite a few behavioral concerns as well. I am very comfortable working with pets that struggle with: - leash reactivity - anxiety around people or other animals - medical issues, including those that require medication administration or emergent care - pain and mobility issues due to aging - food sensitivities/diet restrictions I also love working on dog training whether that’s loose leash walking techniques or just having your pup learn or practice tricks as a part of a drop in visit. I know the feeling of leaving your pet with a Rover sitter for the first time, especially when they have a history of medical issues or anxiety, so I always send detailed updates with photos to keep you at ease.
