Pet care experience
Veteran dog lover at your service
Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — I grew up in a home that always had one or two pups running around, and that joy never gets old. Four years ago, my wife and I added Reggie to our family: a bernedoodle who was supposed to be a "mini" but had other plans, landing at a very lovable 85 pounds. He's dopey, sweet, and adorably gentle with our 6 month old daughter — and he's taught us everything about what it means to truly make a dog feel like family. One thing I've learned is that that every dog is one-of-a-kind. I get that your pet has their own personality, routines, and needs. Whether its an exercise-intensive adventure, a calm walk, or just a companion and a good scratch behind the ears, I'm fully committed to making sure your pup gets what it needs to be happy and comfortable while you're away. I'll also gladly send regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. I am located on the West Slope in Tacoma (near Titlow Park) and primarily looking to walk/sit dogs in the Tacoma/Fircrest/University Place/Gig Harbor. I’m always happy to schedule a meet-and-greet beforehand so you and your pet can feel comfortable.” Aside: My wife and I had a baby girl a few months ago, and I've stepped away from my career for the time being to spend more time with her. That also means that at the moment I have plenty of extra time to spend with your pup(s)!

Ratings and reviews
Noah took excellent care of our pups for check ins during the day. He even cleaned up a mess that one of them made. Thank you!

Great communication. Great with handling my puppy and updating me on his behaviors. I looked forward to seeing my puppy pics during his walk he always looked like he was having a good time with Noah. Will book again in the future

Noah was great! He was timely and communicative and walked my dog longer than he needed, plus he sent a couple of fun photos. My pup was a happy boy when I came home to him! Highly recommend.
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I just recently stepped away from my career in Gates Foundation (in global health) as I try to sort out next steps for treatment of my chronic migraines/headaches. So at the moment I have plenty of extra time to play with your pup(s)! I am available on weekdays/weekends and can generally help out on pretty short notice.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, medications, etc. I treat your home with the same respect I would my own. During walks and playtime, I prioritize safety—keeping dogs leashed when appropriate and staying aware of our surroundings. I also believe communication goes a long way, so I’ll always send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or extended care, I do my best to make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you’re away. 🐾
Pets
A typical day
A typical day with the pets I care for is centered around keeping them active, comfortable, and on their normal routine as much as possible. I like to start with a walk or some outdoor time so dogs can get exercise, explore, and burn off some energy. Depending on the pet’s personality and energy level, that might mean a relaxed neighborhood walk, some playtime in the yard with toys, or simply relaxing together if they just need company. I’m happy to keep you updated with messages and pictures during visits. 🐾
