Brooklyn was great! She dropped in multiple times a day to take care of my ducks and aging cat while I was away. She’s responsive, sweet, and left detailed report cards. I definitely plan to work with Brooklyn again in the future :)

About: I had a Neapolitan mastiff and a beagle poodle mix. I recently adopted a poodle. I’m a dependable animal lover and will follow all your doggie care instructions. Your pups will be loved, well-cared for, have a lot of fun playing if that’s what they like! SPACE: I own my home. I have a fenced yard dog run, so your babies will be safe and secured. I have a 2300 sq ft home on .78 acres, so plenty of room to run and play. My neighborhood has one dog-friendly park within a short walking distance and we have two big dog parks close by (driving). Most roads have a speed limit of 25 miles per hour, so very safe to walk around the neighborhood. But the property is large, so we walk around it too. Unfortunately at this time I am not hosting puppies (under 1 year) or dogs that are not potty-trained. I work from home two days a week and am available weekends all day. I work out and walk in the morning rain or shine. My work schedule is very flexible so I can go out for walks multiple times a day and can drive anywhere if needed. My evenings are also open. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I’m an active and responsible homeowner without kids and only 1 dog so your fur baby will be showered with love and care from me, and companion ship from a furry friend! If I am caring for your pet in your home, I can either leave my dog at home with my husband or bring her along if you wish.

About: I want to provide the best experience and care for your pets! Whether it’s walks around the neighborhood, playing at the park, cuddles, etc. At the moment I’m not able to have a pet of my own, and miss the true companionship and joy that caring for them brings. It is truly fulfilling. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away, knowing that your pet is safe, comfortable, and happy! I work Sunday through Thursday and am available for pet care after 2 PM on those days. I have more flexibility for longer house sitting stays from Thursday afternoon through Saturday evening. I’m happy to work with your schedule! Every furry companion requires special care, unique to them! No dog or cat is the same. I follow all instructions for your pets with great detail.

We found Aleta because our previous kitty sitter had a family emergency and was forced to cancel on us the day before we left town. Aleta came to our rescue and was even able to meet our family that day! She listened and asked questions and we felt very good leaving our fur babies in her care. We loved seeing her detailed reports for each visit and we will definitely be hiring her again! She even brought my package in ?

About: I have loved and cared for dogs aged 3 months to elderly for most of my life. They have been a constant companion ever since my first day at my family home. Having owned and raised minimally 3 dogs at a time, I have learned a great deal on proper treatment and behavior reading. I still have two old men I care for now, both with medical care that’s required of me. I love meeting new friends and respecting their needs! I work part time, with shorter shifts, so I have availability minimum twice a day, early to late morning and late afternoon thru the evening. My schedule is open and relatively flexible. I am happy to provide any necessary services including walks, food prep, medicine giving, socializing, play time, and calm restful visits :) Whatever my furry friend will need.

Morgan is fantastic! We recently used her for drop in visits with our very shy and skittish cat. She did fantastic and our cat even greeted her. We had an excellent meet and greet and Morgan was very attentive and took lots of notes, asked important questions regarding our cats care and the apartment. Morgan is very polite, communicative, and caring! On top of watching June she helped keep the home tidy and refreshed 💖 We will definitely be using her again in the future! I feel comfortable with leaving our cat and home in her care.

About: I have always enjoyed giving love and affection to the pets around me. Dogs are my favorite and I’m always glad to give my time to them always! Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I’ve always genuinely enjoy being around animals. I’m comfortable with daily tasks like feeding, walks, cleaning up after pets, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. I make it a priority to follow each pet’s routine so they feel secure and well cared for while their family is away. I will provide care based on each pet’s individual needs and routine. In my client’s home, I follow their instructions closely for feeding, walks, exercise, playtime, medication (if needed), and maintaining a clean environment. I will make sure your pet(s) receive plenty of attention, affection, and supervision so they feel comfortable while owners are away. I do not plan on having pets in my home as it is a shared space with a no pet request. My goal is always to keep pets happy, healthy, and as comfortable as possible by maintaining consistency with their normal routine.

Stephanie has been doing walk ins with my Boxer puppy and my Belgian Shepherd for a couple of months now - 3 days a week. She has gone above and beyond to make their experience positive - buying them a special toy to play with while she is there, picking up puppy wipes, bringing treats, quick to respond to me via text, respectful of my home, and being flexible with her schedule. My dogs are thrilled when she arrives and Stephanie has given me peace of mind when I am at work knowing the puppy is getting her time out of the crate that I am otherwise unable to provide her. Stephanie was not my first sitter on Rover, and she was brought in to cover a transition between sitters. I was thrilled to have her continue on once I realized how reliable and thoughtful she is.

This has helped me develop patience, observation skills, and an understanding of how to build trust with both pets and their owners. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or companionship while you’re away, I will treat them with the same care, attention, and respect that I would want for my own pet. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when someone else is caring for your furry family member, and I am committed to providing reliable care and clear communication every step of the way. I live in an apartment, but I make sure dogs receive plenty of walks, exercise, potty breaks, and attention. I always follow the owner's instructions and take the time to learn each dog's routine and needs. I currently volunteer with the Humane Society and Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary, where I work with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments. About: I've never been without pets in my life, big dogs and small, as well as multiple cats. I have a limited experience with guinea pigs and hamsters. I am currently going through Vet Tech school with Pierce college. I also have been volunteering at the Auburn Valley Humane Society and there cat cafe for some time now. With our 3 pups and 2 cats they get quite a bit of play time in our 5 person household. Cats are my responsibility so every day they get their litter boxes cleaned, water and food is full and clean, and that my older cat got his meds. Our dogs get poop cleaned a few times a week and are fed twice a day. It has blended into my day to day life to make sure they are happy and healthy. Watching body language is key, every animal is different on whether they want to be left alone, approached slowly or are happy as can be. The first part of Vet Tech school was body language and how to approach with everyone's safety in mind.

About: I have taken care of lots of animals since I was little. I have lots of expirence with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, bunnies. I have used pet pads, litter boxes, training tequniques for dogs to sit, shake, lay down and roll over and to wait. I have worked with new born puppies/kittens to elderly animals. 😍 I have worked with really shy doggos to some super cuddly oversize lap dogs with all the energy. 🤪😂🩷 I only work part time, and I have weekends off and afternoon evenings off so I have plenty of time to play with furry friends! I have leashes, and am comfortable going on lots of walks in nearby areas. I can offer treats and some toys if the client would like.

We could not have asked for a better sitter! From the very first meet-and-greet, it was clear our dogs felt completely at ease — and that comfort only grew. We came home to dogs that were relaxed which as a dog parent means everything to me. The photo updates showed the pups who were genuinely enjoying themselves, not just being "watched." It's obvious that Diana has a real gift for making dogs feel safe and loved. We'll absolutely be booking again and recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a sitter who treats your dog like family.

I was anxious to find a dog sitter, and I wanted to make sure I found someone with a decent amount of experience. Sophia was more than happy to do a meet-and-greet with both of my dogs. She met them both where they were at, and they both had a successful first experience getting care from someone other than me or a close friend.

Can we leave more than 5 stars? We are so glad we chose Ana to watch our two large Doodles. Twice a day for a whole month she stopped by our house to make sure they had an outside break, played with them and did some training. She was super sweet and gentle with them, and they really enjoyed their time with her. Ana is consistent, dependable and trustworthy. Do not hesitate to choose Ana for your booking. Thanks Ana! Waffles and Peaches say thank you too!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
