About: I have owned pets my entire life and miss having them around. Timing is not right for me now to have my own so I am opening my life up to caring for others’ pets. I currently work from my home office which allows me flexibility to care for pets periodically throughout the week. Most weekends are open for me. My apartment complex has a fenced play yard for dogs. I also walk for exercise frequently and would take your dog on walks with me.

“Kathy is so patient and loving with my male pitbull. He loves to go on walks and is very excitable but also can be reactive. I appreciate Kathy for her willingness to take him on and show him such a good time every visit!”

I highly recommend Nikki.”

“Kristen was great with our pup! She took the time to come over to get to know what he likes, where to walk him, anything she should know about him, etc. She was punctual and communicative, and just overall a relief to have taking care of our baby.”

About: My experience in pet care spans several years, during which I have cared for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, and small pets. I am adept at providing essential care such as feeding, grooming, and exercise, as well as administering medications when necessary. I prioritize the well-being and comfort of pets under my care, ensuring they receive love, attention, and a safe environment. Pet care fits into my schedule through careful planning and dedication. I allocate specific times each day for feeding, grooming, exercise, and playtime, ensuring that pets receive the attention they need. This structured approach helps me balance their needs with my other responsibilities, such as work or school commitments. Additionally, I prioritize flexibility to accommodate unexpected events or emergencies, ensuring that pets always receive consistent and reliable care. This commitment allows me to maintain a harmonious routine that benefits both pets and their owners. In my approach to caring for pets, whether at my own home or at a client's residence, I maintain a consistent and attentive routine tailored to the needs of each individual animal: **Caring for Pets in My Home:** 1. **Dedicated Space:** I provide a safe and comfortable area within my home where pets can relax and feel at ease. 2. **Regular Exercise:** Daily walks, play sessions, and opportunities for exploration are integrated into their schedule. 3. **Nutritional Care:** I ensure pets receive balanced meals according to their dietary requirements, with access to fresh water at all times. 4. **Grooming:** Regular brushing, grooming, and hygiene maintenance are part of their routine to keep them clean and healthy. 5. **Social Interaction:** Pets receive companionship and attention throughout the day to prevent loneliness and promote mental stimulation. **Caring for Pets in Client's Home:** 1. **Respectful Environment:** I follow the homeowner's guidelines for pet care and house rules to maintain a harmonious environment. 2. **Routine Maintenance:** Feeding, watering, and bathroom breaks are performed according to the pet's usual schedule to minimize disruption. 3. **Activity and Engagement:** I engage pets in activities they enjoy, such as playtime, walks, or training exercises. 4. **Health Monitoring:** Observing for any signs of illness or discomfort, and promptly notifying the owner if concerns arise. 5. **Home Security:** Respecting the security protocols of the client's home, ensuring doors are securely locked and any alarms are set as instructed. In both settings, I prioritize the well-being and happiness of the pets entrusted to my care, maintaining open communication with owners to provide updates and ensure peace of mind while they are away.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of different breeds and sizes since I was 15. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me for years to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I have experience administering oral, subcutaneous injections, and topical medications. I’m comfortable working with pets who have special needs. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a gentle senior, I treat every pup like family. I also have experience with small critters like hedgehog/, hamsters, fish, or geckos. If I’m house sitting for your dog, I can feed your critters as bonus! Indoor plants for extra!! As a current student with a somewhat flexible schedule, I’m available for dog walking and drop-in visits on weekdays after 1pm. I’ll do my best to accommodate your pup’s needs and make sure they get the care, love, and attention they deserve! I have a fenced yard and two small-medium sized dogs. Your dog will be safe and well cared for in a calm, pet-loving environment. I can easily crate your pup if needed and will always follow your care instructions to ensure their comfort and safety.

About: I have had dogs, cats and exotic pets my whole life. I've volunteered at animal rescues and have always been an animal lover. I have also done medically fostering, so I'm knowledgeable on providing medical care to your pet! :) I am a nurse, so I only work three days a week. My partner only works until noon most days, so someone will always be around for your baby. I have a fenced yard, a wonderful walking neighborhood with lots of parks, a big house, and two animal friendly dogs that are excited to meet your fur baby! The house is also big enough to keep them separate if need be.

“I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to have found Priscilla as my dog’s walker. As a pet parent, it’s always a challenge to find someone trustworthy, reliable, and attentive to your dog’s needs. After having a few not-so-great experiences with other walkers, Priscilla has been an absolute breath of fresh air. Here’s why I think she’s incredible: Highly Professional & Punctual, Attention to Safety and Comfort, Communication and Updates, and Flexibility & Reliability. If you’re looking for someone to walk your dog, I cannot recommend Priscilla highly enough she’s truly the best!”

About: I have owned two dogs throughout my life. A golden retriever lab mix as my childhood dog, and now a corgi terrier mix! I loved my dog as a member of my family, and I know how hard it is to leave him. I have watched my family friends dog for many years now and I love to get to spend time with other dogs and give them love while their family is away, as what I would want to happen if I left my dog. I am home for the summer from college and I am free throughout almost every day! I will always have time in my day to say hello to your dog and give them some love, it makes my day! I love dogs and will be more than happy to stop by your house as many times as needed to give them whatever they may need while you are away. I know when I leave my dog I am always weary of whose care he will be under, so I know how hard it is to trust someone to take care of your dog. That being said I will do whatever it is that will make your dog feel taken care of just as if he is with you!

“Zaria has walked our dog 3x/week for the past 2 weeks and has been great. Reliable, communicative, and is amazing with our not-very-disciplined 55 pound dog, who loves it when Zaria comes. We will be doing a recurrent booking with Zaria for as long as she’s available! Highly recommend.”

About: Hey, I’m Diana! I’ve loved animals since I was a kid and grew up with them my whole life. I’ve worked as a vet assistant for 2 years, and have bottle fed multiple litters of kittens so I know how to take care of pets and make sure they’re safe and happy. I’ll treat them like my own and make sure they’re having a good time! :) I am self employed with a flexible schedule, so my availability can vary week to week—but I usually have lots of open time! Feel free to reach out and I’ll do my best to fit you in! I treat every animal like I do my own—with love, patience, and lots of attention. I follow your instructions and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for in their own space.

“She always does an amazing job and freya is always very happy after she has had a walk with her!”

“Madison is the best I couldn’t ask for anyone better then her before the first walk with my dog Max she asked about meeting witch I thought was very nice of her being not met or talked before so I know who’s walking my pup. She has gone above and beyond helping me with him walking him and helping take care of I definitely will continue using her as long as she is available. She’s very commutative about Max and let’s me know how their walks go he is a hyper little guy and I think he’s found a new best friend with her I know he really enjoys their walks together.”

About: While pet sitting isn’t my full-time job anymore, I still have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies. I only work part-time shift in the mornings, and my husband overlapping Schedule, we can ensure your pets aren’t left alone for longer than 4–5 hours. If that’s still too long, we can always bring an extra help for a potty and play break halfway through. I have a house with a big yard, perfectly set up to cater to any animals needs. I also have tons of puzzles, snuffle mats, lick pads etc that I like to do with the dogs, to work their brains (and it’s also very entertaining for me!) so your dog will never be bored. I really enjoy what I do, and can’t think of a more fulfilling way to earn a living. I will only accept dogs and cats that I think will be a good match for us, to make sure that everyone has the best time possible! I have two small dogs and three cats. The dogs are a little grouchy in their old age and just want to sit on the couch and not be bothered by the young energetic dogs, but they won’t bite. The cats are timid at first, but once they get comfortable they will get down on the floor with the dogs and rub on them. Sometimes they even play with them! I set up drop off times to allow myself time to acclimate the dogs before I have to leave the house for any reason or have another drop off or pickup. Because of this, I add a $20 charge if you are 30 or more minutes late without sufficient notice (IE an hour or more before the drop off window closes) Puppy prices are applied to any unneutered or unspayed dogs. Thank you so much for your understanding and I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I only work part time, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! Aside from really errands and the occasional visit with a friend, most of my time is spent with the animals. I have a big and fully fenced backyard for the dogs to run around, and I am happy to take them for daily walks or even to the dog park. Considering that I am a stay at home dog mom, I am almost always here to monitor the dogs and make sure everyone is safe and happy. When I do leave, I have the capabilities to kennel if your pup needs it.

“Alejandra has been super helpful getting our golden retriever out for walks while we have been limited due to untimely injuries. She's been quick to respond, on time for appointments and very capable with our large dog.”

About: Hi! My name is Lea. I’d love to be your dogs best friend. I’ve loved dogs as long as I can remember. I was even born in the year of the dog! I have experience with high energy dogs, working breeds, large breeds, high prey drives, rescue animals and special needs dogs. Animals are my passion and I spend each of my days finding any possible way to be around them, and to make sure that they are having a good time! I understand that our dogs are like our children, and require constant, reliably good care, and would love to provide that for your furry family member. I would love to meet and get to know your pup! I work part-time and am a student with one class per week. Since I have my own dog, I make time each day to provide plenty of exercise and stimulation, with some downtime while I work. I have a large fenced yard with plenty of space to run, and new exciting sniffs for the dogs to explore each day! Indoors, dogs have access to the main floor and are blocked from entering areas where I can’t see them unless I’m with them.

“Alex took great care of my pup and my pup was very happy to see him. Thank you so much, Alex! Gunny can't wait to see you next”

1. Diana N.
“Greetings! Diana N. is utterly reliable, honest, and professional. She's also possibly the kindest, most gracious, and most loving person I know. And she loves dogs. She understands dogs. She's had dogs throughout her adult life and has given each one a rich, happy and exciting life. I'll skip the whole trite 'dog whisperer' bit - but she really does have a special way with all animals. Dogs are drawn to her caring nature; she's also THE most loyal person I know - as loyal as your dogs or mine. She keeps a clean and safe home; she's very active personally, certainly as active as anyone's dog would need; she's raised two active kids, four dogs, and a horse out in the country so she's prepared for any contingency. As a businessperson Diana N. is a reliable professional who you can count on. From the caring human side, well, she's everything we all strive to be for our own furry kids. As a pooch babysitter I can think of no one better suited than Diana N. Take her on at Rover, you'll be glad you did and so will a whole bunch of dogs. Thanks, and have a safe day. WooF!”
