About: While pet sitting and dog walking over the years, I have gained extensive experience working with a variety of animals and their unique needs. I've watched young puppies who require lots of love and attention, along with dogs with simple medication needs. Beyond this, I also have experience with animals that have strict food schedules, and even reptiles that require special feeding (live worms). When back home in Alaska, I am the go-to pet sitter for family friends, relatives, and community members, as I have gotten endless positive feedback and referrals to new clients. At the end of the day, your pet's safety and comfort are my #1 priority! As I am a full-time college student, I'm currently available on weekends and Fridays after 11:00 A.M. for walks and drop-ins. When caring for pets in a client's home, my top priority is respecting the home, being detailed in following the client's instructions, and communicating with the client so they feel safe knowing their pet is in good hands.

About: I have experience with dog sitting for a family member on and off if they were out for the day or on a trip out of town for a longer period of time. I also sat for a friend that has both a cat and a dog. My other skills include babysitting (I have done this while dog sitting at the same time) and some experience in senior home care. For a period of 6 months, I took care of another family member managing their tube-feeding, medications, and working together with the nurse team to communicate updates, issues and check in on appointments. I do work online, currently building a business. I try to schedule my work around typical business hours (between 8am-5pm) but can adjust around for pet care sits or visits since I'm remote. I do most tasks Monday-Friday with the most availability being on the weekends, most specifically Saturdays. I am very good with taking directions on pets' needs. If they have a certain schedule or specialized regimen, I make sure to keep track and make sure the same rhythm is kept as if the owner is still with them. I also respect the ground rules of a client's home knowing that they are trusting to me by allowing me the visit. I also like learning the different personalities so I'd like to try and bond with the pets even if it's for a short time!

About: I grew up both in the city and on 10 acres surrounded by animals like horses, dogs with room to roam, cats, and more guinea pigs than I can count. That upbringing shaped how I think about pet care: animals do best with space, freedom, and someone who actually gets them. Today I share my home with two huskies, which means I’m no stranger to high energy, strong personalities, or the chaos of zoomies at 6am. Your dog will be in the company of someone who knows how to read animal behavior and genuinely loves the whole experience… including the muddy paws. When your pet is with me, they can expect daily walks, trips to the park, plenty of cuddles and scratches, and regular photo updates so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. I care for pets in your own home, so they get to stay in the space they know and love- same smells, same routine, just with a lot of extra attention. I’m available Monday through Friday, 8am–9pm (with a Wednesday evening commitment from 5:30-10pm), and on weekends with variable availability just reach out and we’ll figure it out :) I am working freelance on a flexible part-time schedule so I have a lot of time and flexibility throughout the day to dog sit and walk. The best times for me are after 8:00am and before 9:00pm and I am unavailable on Wednesday between 5:30PM-10PM. Otherwise, I would love to work with your schedule and accommodate as much as possible. I am happy to utilize any traditional care tactics you and your family perform and feel confident knowing proper moments to put a pup in a crate. I recognize that cleanliness and organization upon returning is important therefore I will manage transitions outside to inside by providing wipes to clean the pups paws as well and I find it important to clean all surfaces at the end of a dog sitting session as well.

My Routine For house sitting, I typically return home for 1-2 hours in the evening to recharge and spend time with my dog. About: I've seized every opportunity to help walk my friends' dogs, and I volunteer at the Seattle animal shelter walking and caring for the dogs there too. I've also taken care of my family dog (in Los Angeles) from middle school to college, bathing, feeding, walking, and playing with him to make him the happiest dog on earth :) I also am certified with Fear Free Shelter's program to recognize emotions and body language in dogs. About: I’ve had the opportunity to own a corgi, German shepherd, Shih Tzu, Pomeranian, and Jindo. Having moved to Seattle recently, I look forward to making and caring for more furry friends. Pet care is my primary focus outside of volunteering. Having recently retired, i spend my mornings and afternoons walking through the parks in the First Hill neighborhood. My guests are walk three times a day, get two meals a day, and have a bag of toys to enjoy throughout. Depending on their dietary needs, they can receive the treats appropriate for them.

About: I have taken care of family dogs for many years, and have raised my own two Golden Retrievers from 8 weeks old. I have always loved animals and love learning how to communicate with them. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can work with whatever requirements you have. I also live downtown with a car, so I can drive to you. I am happy to take your dog for a walk, give them pets/cuddles in your home, or play with them in your yard!
