About: Hi there! I’m Laura, and I absolutely love taking care of pets. With years of experience in house sitting, pet sitting, and dog walking, I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I handle feeding, grooming, playtime, meds, and special diets with ease. While you’re away, I’ll keep your home safe and tidy so you can relax. I’m reliable, easy to talk to, and I'll always make sure your pets are happy and well-cared for. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily schedule as I pursue a transition from a career in engineering to a more creative field. It offers the flexibility I need while allowing me to support myself. Taking care of pets is a fulfilling and rewarding way to spend my time, and it brings balance to my life as I explore new creative opportunities. Plus, the joy and companionship of caring for animals provide a wonderful contrast to my previous work, making each day enjoyable and meaningful. In your home, I maintain the familiar surroundings your pet is used to, which can be especially comforting for them. I stick to their established routines and provide plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I also take care of basic household tasks like bringing in the mail, watering plants, and ensuring your home remains tidy and secure.

About: While I don’t have extensive professional experience caring for other people’s pets, I have been around animals my entire life. My family has always had either a cat or a dog, which has given me experience with the daily responsibilities of caring for pets and understanding their needs. I currently have open availability Monday through Sunday, from mornings through evenings. Since I am not working at the moment, I have a flexible schedule and am available for house sitting or dog walking for extended periods as needed. While I do not currently have any pets of my own, I am committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for every client’s pet. My goal is to make sure they feel happy, relaxed, and well cared for while they are with me.

About: Hi there, fellow animal lover! 🐾 I’ve spent over 20 years doing what I love most — caring for pets like they’re my own. From house-sitting for friends and neighbors, to volunteering at foster homes and rescue centers, to lending a hand at veterinary offices with check-ups and pet care education, animals have always been at the heart of everything I do. I get it — leaving your pet with someone new isn’t easy. They’re family. That’s exactly why I treat every animal I care for with the same love, patience, and attention I’d want for my own furry companions. Your peace of mind matters just as much to me as their wagging tail (or happy purr!). I’d love the chance to meet you both — you and your four-legged family member. Let’s find the perfect fit for your pet’s care! I’m pursuing continuing education in the medical field and love that Rover lets me earn flexible income doing something I’m genuinely passionate about. I prioritize understanding each client’s specific needs and requirements for their pet’s care. I’m patient, kind, and attentive to every detail — going well beyond a standard visit to ensure your pet receives genuine interaction and personalized attention. I make it my responsibility to keep your pet safe and secure throughout my visit, and to leave everything in order so your animal is comfortable and cared for until we meet again.

About: I grew up with dogs and have been helping care for them since I was a child. My family had a Black Lab, a Dalmatian, a Basset Hound, and a whole lot of Beagles, so I’m very familiar with dogs that have plenty of energy and personality. I’m comfortable with different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and activity levels. I offer relaxed, one-on-one weekend daycare and only host one dog at a time, so they get plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and company throughout the day. I live on Capitol Hill just a few minutes from Cal Anderson Park, where I already spend a lot of time walking and relaxing. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, and care routine. I keep my daycare day completely free, so your dog will have my full attention throughout the day. We’ll have plenty of time for walks, play, relaxing, and whatever routine your dog is most comfortable with. My home is clean, open, and uncluttered, with no obvious hazards for a visiting dog. I only host one dog at a time, so I can keep a close eye on them and give them plenty of individual attention. I’ll also follow any specific routines, rules, or instructions you provide.

About: *Not accepting new cat clients at the moment* *Free pickup and drop off for boarding, and is only available to certain areas around Seattle* Hello from Lili and Nina! We love having a furry friend walking around my house! Because we only take one client at a time and don't have any pets of our own, our full attention will be given solely to your pet. Your pet won't be caged. They will free roam in the house and we will spend a lot of time playing with them and caring for them as if they were our own pets. Our goal is not to become a kennel, I want to bond with the furry friend I'm spending time with and give them family-like love and care. I will do best of my knowledge to make them healthy and happy. My biggest joy doing Rover is that I work hard to earn my pet client's trust and see them gradually open up to me and eventually like me back and enjoy their stay. ---- - We will come pick up and drop off your kitty in the afternoon for free in select neighborhoods around Seattle(see below). - People from all ethnicities, religions, orientations, etc. are welcome! - Additional languages spoken: 普通话,日本語 Things to pack/prepare before the stay For dogs, - Leash and harness - food, food and water bowls, treats - (optional) bed. They can sleep on our couch if they like For cats, - Food - Litter(a new bag or bagged securely). Please bring a little extra litter just in case. - Please trim your kitty's nails before the stay. Everything else is optional. You're welcome to pack any other things your kitty loves. What we provide *for cats* so you *don't* need to pack: - food and water bowls - a queen bed entirely for your kitty to sleep on. - scratcher - Litter box and scoop Meet and greet policy We usually don’t offer meet and greets at the moment, as these weren't very helpful in my experience. In addition, parking near my place is limited and costly, which makes visits difficult. If you’d like to get a better sense of the environment, I recommend starting with a short stay. During that time, I’ll provide plenty of photos and updates so you can feel assured that your cat is safe and comfortable. Free pick up and drop off: I offer free pick up and drop off around parts of Seattle: Downtown Seattle, Central Seattle, Southeast Seattle up to Columbia City, Mercer Island, Bellevue, Factoria. For other areas you can street park at my condo building. There are two 3-minute parking spots and some metered spots and are pretty limited. During the stay: you will get photos and videos throughout your cat's stay, every day. Please don't hesitate to request more(keep it coming!) or less updates(that's too much noise, I want some quiet time).

With my partner's and my schedules being so different Heidi has helped us to not worry about Bruno being anxious waiting for us to go outside. His quality of life has gone up and it shows! We love having Heidi we're very grateful at how skilled she is with Bruno, she's so amazing😁❤️

About: Hi! I’m Magdalena, and I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. Growing up, my family always had cats, dogs, reptiles, and other pets, and I attended a Waldorf school on a biodynamic farm where I spent years caring for and learning about all kinds of animals. I started house sitting and pet sitting as a teenager, and since moving to Seattle I’ve continued caring for pets through family friends and referrals. I’ve looked after everything from energetic puppies to senior pets and animals needing extra patience or specialized care, so I’m confident adapting to each animal’s unique personality, routine, and needs. Cats are especially close to my heart, and I have two of my own, and I also do aquascaping myself, which has given me even more appreciation for creating calm, enriching environments for animals. I’ve found that even shy or nervous cats tend to warm up to me with a little patience. I’m active, dependable, and attentive, and I genuinely love spending time with animals. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while giving you peace of mind with reliable care and regular updates. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to build it around your pet’s needs. Whether they need early morning walks, midday check-ins, evening visits, medication, playtime, or a consistent routine, I’ll do my best to accommodate what keeps them happiest and most comfortable. I understand that every pet is different, and I’m committed to providing dependable, personalized care that fits their lifestyle, not just mine. I provide care in your home, where your pet is most comfortable and can stick to their normal routine. I treat every home with the same respect I’d want for my own. Having worked in housekeeping for several years, I’m naturally clean, organized, and detail-oriented. I’ll always clean up after myself (and your pet!), follow your home’s routines, and leave everything just as I found it. My priority is creating a calm, safe environment where your pet feels secure, loved, and stress-free while you’re away.

About: I grew up with a Maltese-Shih Tzu mix, so I’ve had experience caring for dogs from a young age. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping up with your dog’s usual routine. While most of my experience has been with smaller dogs, I’m also comfortable caring for friendly medium and larger dogs and would love having a walking buddy! My schedule is pretty flexible, and I’m completely free on Mondays! I can easily stop by for check-ins, feeding, walks, and some quality time with your pet. I’m also happy to have pets stay with me, including overnight, if you prefer a more home-away-from-home experience. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with a designated pet relief area, and my neighborhood is very walkable with plenty of options for walks and outdoor time. I’ll always follow each owner’s instructions and their pet’s usual routine closely, whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home.

About: I'm incredibly detail-oriented and used to managing everything from high-energy "zoomies" to meticulous grooming needs. I’d love to give your dog the exact level of care, structure, and affection they deserve while you're away. Hi, I'm passionate about providing a safe, active, and reliable home-away-from-home for your furry family members. I thrive on routine, and I ensure that the dogs in my care enjoy a balanced mix of structured downtime, high-energy play, and plenty of affection. Because I maintain a consistent Monday–Friday work schedule, your pup will enjoy a peaceful, predictable daytime environment, followed by a fantastic afternoon adventure. The very second I get home at 4:00 PM, it’s all about the dogs—we head straight to the park for a favorite game of fetch and a refreshing, long walk to burn off energy and explore. When the weekend hits, the schedule opens up completely! Saturdays and Sundays are entirely dedicated to my canine guests, meaning they get my absolute, undivided attention, extra long adventures, and all the belly rubs they could ask for. Leaving your pet and your home in someone else's hands takes a lot of trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. When I watch your pet in their own environment, my top priorities are maintaining their established routine and keeping your home secure.

I’ve been so impressed with the care Echo has received. Her walker is reliable, communicative, and genuinely seems to enjoy spending time with her, which means a lot to me. The walks are thoughtful and thorough, I always get great updates and photos through Rover, and I never feel like the visit is just being rushed through to check a box. Most importantly, Echo absolutely loves her mid-day walk and is clearly comfortable and happy when Madison arrives. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
