Safety, trust & environment
I have 2 dogs and 2 cats of my own which get along well with most visiting dogs. I have a fully fenced backyard that most dogs have a great time in. Lots of trees and plants, room to run around. I have double gating on both sides. No one has ever escaped. Most days I take my boarders for a good walk and on nice days we spend time in the backyard.

Let me know of any special needs, meds or care that is necessary for your dog. I am happy to comply with as much as I can comfortably do.
A typical day
I do at least a 1-2 mile walk daily with boarders. I have a fenced backyard that we go out in often as long as it’s not raining. In spring and summer we spend hours outdoors. If raining then I do have numerous toys and chews for all the dogs. Just FYI: I will never take a boarder to an off leash park for safety reasons.

Love & respect all animal. Reliable
Pet care experience
Creature’s have been in my life since birth. My dad raised beagles and there was always a cat or two in the house. We usually had some form of hunting dog around and I’ve raised plenty of my own cats and pups. I worked as a Vet Tech in Alabama for 3 years while in college. Assisted in the surgeries, post-op care. I was responsible for food, water and med care of all the animals on the weekends when the clinic was closed. I am a retired RN with good critical thinking skills. I have the utmost respect for others folks creatures and their routines. I'm an honest, reliable person with a big soft spot for all animals. I enjoy the happy energy of dogs when they get to go on walks. I also enjoy getting to know each animal personally through visits, walks and boarding of dogs in my home. I care for them as if they were my own. I love the individual personalities of each cat. I am currently walking dogs Monday thru Thursday. Boarding most days but only dogs up to ~30lbs because of my recent adoption of two small dogs who need to feel safe in my home. Larger dogs are very intimidating to them as they are 9 and 10 lbs. I am home most times other than dog walks. I have a fenced yard most dogs love to explore. I usually take my boarders on a 2 to 3 mile walk every day. My two dogs are very non- confrontational and welcoming as long as the dogs are on the small side.
Reviews

Each time we book boarding stays, I always feel so at peace knowing my girl Olive is with someone as caring and attentive as Lyn!

I am always delighted when Lyn and her family are available to care for my pup - he is always so well cared for which makes my travels so much easier. Great communication and expert care for my older pup.

Lyn was responsive and so kind. My dog is anxious and Lyn totally understood how to make her feel safe! Highly recommend!!

Lyn and her family are the best ! They take such wonderful care of my sweet, persnickety pup and I am always so comfortable leaving my precious pup in their care. Thank you Lyn !
