Dog Walking First Hill

About: I’ve have one Doberman that my dad made sure I was apart of the their training and raising. So I pick up poop every week, wash them when they’re dirty, walk them every other day since she’s about 5-6 months old so has a lot of energy. I also take her to vet appointments and I help feed her dinner. I’m very experienced with big dogs and little ones because I have friends and family with dogs that range from chihuahuas to cane corsos/giant schnauzers/Hungarian sheepdog. I can do walks and pet-sit after school. On the weekends I can stay overnight if needed. I’m willing to adjust depending on the situation! A bunch of butt rubs and back scratches! I like to really connect with the dogs so if they prefer silence or tv that’s fine! Also feeding them on time and getting them out to use the bathroom on time helps create that trust and bond! I can play with the dogs to their content since I’m young and have the energy!

About: I've been taking care of pets for as long as I can remember. Both of my parents were veterinarians, so all my life I've been surrounded by animals. Growing up, I had dogs, cats, guinea pigs and even fish as pets. At some point, my family and I had 2 dogs and 7 cats at the same time. More recently, I adopted my dog Fiona from a shelter and she is my best friend. I love her with all my heart, and wherever I'm able to bring here, you can bet we'll be there - hiking, parks, stores, restaurants... I have experience administrating medications and working with senior dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, etc. I can also give baths if needed. My passion for animals only grows more and more as the years pass. I'm currently at home full time, so my weekly schedule is very open and flexible. I'm able to accommodate morning, afternoon and evening visits. I'm available for drop in, walks and home care so your pets can be the most comfortable on their own routine. I am really big on communication. I want you to feel safe and at ease while your pets are under my care. I'll share with you in details how their day was, lots of pictures, about play time, potty breaks, feeding and anything else that we see fit. Whatever you need or want me to do, I do not mind doing if it helps your fur babies to be happy and satisfied. You can be sure I'll love them as if they were my own.

About: I grew up with dogs and have been helping care for them since I was a child. My family had a Black Lab, a Dalmatian, a Basset Hound, and a whole lot of Beagles, so I’m very familiar with dogs that have plenty of energy and personality. I’m comfortable with different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and activity levels. I offer relaxed, one-on-one weekend daycare and only host one dog at a time, so they get plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and company throughout the day. I live on Capitol Hill just a few minutes from Cal Anderson Park, where I already spend a lot of time walking and relaxing. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, and care routine. I keep my daycare day completely free, so your dog will have my full attention throughout the day. We’ll have plenty of time for walks, play, relaxing, and whatever routine your dog is most comfortable with. My home is clean, open, and uncluttered, with no obvious hazards for a visiting dog. I only host one dog at a time, so I can keep a close eye on them and give them plenty of individual attention. I’ll also follow any specific routines, rules, or instructions you provide.

About: I’ve had the privilege of taking care of my childhood dog from her being a puppy to her twilight years. I have familiarity with the general caregiving tasks and engaging time someone can have with pets, but also pay deliberate attention to detail that owners can give for how to best take care of them. I am currently working on building up my work schedule with clients, so while that’s going on my availability might decrease as time passes. At the moment of starting though, I have a great deal of free time to extend to others. I’m used to monitoring and engaging with pets to a great degree, so that even when I’m not playing with them I have a mindset of monitoring behavior and noticing if there’s anything different in their environment that could cause issue. If they’re resting/sleeping I’m keen on keeping an eye on them periodically to see if they’re alright.

About: I lived with my roommate’s two dogs, the sweetest Labrador and Labradoodle, for 2.5 years and absolutely loved having them around! I regularly took them on walks and cared for them whenever my roommate was out of town, so I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping dogs company while their owner is away. I absolutely love dogs and would be so happy to care for yours like they were my own! I currently have a very flexible schedule, so I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I’m happy to accommodate different schedules and can often be available during the daytime or on shorter notice. I live in an apartment in the First Hill/Cap Hill area with a park nearby for walks and plenty of outdoor time. I’m happy to follow whatever routine or instructions you have and can send plenty of pictures and updates while they’re with me!
