About: First Hill minutes from downtown • weekday day care for office workers • private-room setup for reactive dogs. I grew up in a village in Turkey where dogs were part of everyday life we always had our own dogs, and caring for animals was something I learned as a child, not from books. Since then, animals have never left my life: for years I cared for my son's dog as if he were my own, and today I still help care for my other son's dog here in Seattle every week feeding, walking, playtime, and plenty of affection. I'm a retired grandmother, so I'm never in a rush; your pet gets my calm, full attention on every visit. I'm reliable, always on time, and I'm happy to send photos and updates from each visit. My English is simple but I always understand care instructions clearly. It would be my joy to care for your furry family member. I'm retired, so pet care fits perfectly into my daily life I have a flexible schedule and I'm available seven days a week, morning to evening. I'm never in a rush between visits: your pet always gets my full time and attention. I already care for my son's dog here in Seattle every week, so regular visits are a natural part of my routine. All my visits take place in your home, where your pet feels safest. I follow your care instructions exactly feeding amounts, medications, house rules and I never let a dog off leash outdoors. I always make sure doors and gates are securely closed, keep your home clean and tidy, and treat it with full respect. After every visit I send you photos and a short update, so you always know your pet is safe, comfortable, and loved.
“Andy has been amazing in every way. She gives the best care and is passionate about animals. She’s very trust worthy and i definitely recommend her. We are very lucky we found her.”

About: As a kid I helped care for our family’s dogs and occasionally watched my friends’ and neighbors’ pets. Now I’m a proud cat father of 10 years and still occasionally watch my friends’ and neighbors’ pets. I’m an RN between gigs and my cats are at home on the other side of the country- in short, my schedule is wide open! I like to care for pets on their terms whether they need long walks, active play at home or just a quiet check in. Boarders can expect a secure one bedroom flat with no other pets.

About: I've been taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes since I was kid. I have professional experience with dog and cat boarding, sitting, walking, grooming, daycare, etc. I love animals and cant wait to meet yours. I work from home as a caretaker so my schedule is extremely flexible and there is always someone home to watch any animals we have visiting. I dont have any animals at home at the moment so there's a clean slate for me to focus on any specialized care your pet may need while in my care.
“Jana is the best. She has been very reliable and helpful with my senior dog on walks she has been recovering from surgery. Very appreciative of Jana’s care and professionalism!”
“Alright... where to begin! Brian did a wonderful meet and greet with my boys (two newfoundlands) and walked them today without me..that may seem like a strange thing to say but Byron (my younger boy) refuses to go on a walk for anyone but me - not even my husband! He was perfectly fine on going on the walk with Sinjin (my older boy) and Brian. No temper tantrums, no refusal to walk. NONE of it. Brian took them on a good walk, they had fun and their were no problems.”

“Hi I just wanted to a minute and talk about how amazing Heidi is! Heidi is so great with Bruno, I've seen such a change in him since she's been in his life. When I get home and take him out he's happier and more relaxed than before. With my partner's and my schedules being so different Heidi has helped us to not worry about Bruno being anxious waiting for us to go outside. His quality of life has gone up and it shows! We love having Heidi we're very grateful at how skilled she is with Bruno, she's so amazing😁❤️”

About: Hi! I’m Magdalena, and I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. Growing up, my family always had cats, dogs, reptiles, and other pets, and I attended a Waldorf school on a biodynamic farm where I spent years caring for and learning about all kinds of animals. I started house sitting and pet sitting as a teenager, and since moving to Seattle I’ve continued caring for pets through family friends and referrals. I’ve looked after everything from energetic puppies to senior pets and animals needing extra patience or specialized care, so I’m confident adapting to each animal’s unique personality, routine, and needs. Cats are especially close to my heart, and I have two of my own, and I also do aquascaping myself, which has given me even more appreciation for creating calm, enriching environments for animals. I’ve found that even shy or nervous cats tend to warm up to me with a little patience. I’m active, dependable, and attentive, and I genuinely love spending time with animals. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while giving you peace of mind with reliable care and regular updates. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to build it around your pet’s needs. Whether they need early morning walks, midday check-ins, evening visits, medication, playtime, or a consistent routine, I’ll do my best to accommodate what keeps them happiest and most comfortable. I understand that every pet is different, and I’m committed to providing dependable, personalized care that fits their lifestyle, not just mine. I provide care in your home, where your pet is most comfortable and can stick to their normal routine. I treat every home with the same respect I’d want for my own. Having worked in housekeeping for several years, I’m naturally clean, organized, and detail-oriented. I’ll always clean up after myself (and your pet!), follow your home’s routines, and leave everything just as I found it. My priority is creating a calm, safe environment where your pet feels secure, loved, and stress-free while you’re away.
“Thank you Katie for helping walk Winston this week! I really appreciate your prompt and clear communication, adorable photos, and I know Winnie appreciated your walks! Will definitely reach out again in the future for help. 🙌”

About: With me, your pup is never competing for attention. I provide exclusive, one-on-one care so they feel safe and at home. I’ve cared for dogs for over 12 years, including Italian Greyhounds, Dachshunds, Whippets, Chihuahuas, Poodles, Border Collies, and Terriers. My lifestyle is quiet and calm, which makes me especially attuned to sensitive, low-energy, and senior dogs who need a little extra understanding. My own dog, Clark, a whimsical and willful 12-year-old Poodle, recently passed from mitral valve disease which progressed to congestive heart failure. While this is sadly common in Poodles and other small breeds, it’s never enough time to say goodbye. Dogs will always be a part of my life, and I’d be honored to welcome yours into a calm and nurturing home. Through supporting Clark, I became deeply experienced in senior care- administering oral medications, monitoring for signs of distress, and creating a peaceful environment where he could feel safe and loved. I’m comfortable with medication management, light grooming (teeth brushing if tolerated, baths, and nail trims), and I keep essentials like pee pads, a litter box, and a playpen for dogs who are dual-trained or prefer enclosed rest. I also have a backpack carrier for pups under 15 lbs who like to come along on errands. I live near downtown Seattle, so I’m very vigilant during walks. I keep dogs on a close leash when needed, and for small dogs I’ll scoop them up if a large dog, bike, or scooter is approaching or when crossing busy streets. Safety is always my top priority. I’m typically home all day, and if I do step out, it’s never for more than 3–4 hours. I know the local emergency vets in Seattle and can quickly recognize signs of illness or stress. My goal is to provide attentive, reliable care that feels like an extension of your own love for your dog. Since I’m currently in school remotely, I’m home all day to provide attention and care. I may run errands but takes no more than 3-4 hours. If your pet is under 15lbs, I can Carry them in my backpack pet carrier and they can come with me. My apartment building is very secure. A fob is required on entry. The building is quiet and I like to keep a short leash upon entering and leaving.
“Erin is so reliable and always goes above and beyond. I’m so happy I’ve finally found someone I can trust and don’t have to worry about with my dog! I’ve been using her weekly since our first walk :)”

About: I love animals of all walks of life and personally own two large dogs and two cats. I have also volunteered 500+ combined hours between a horse rescue called the Equine Project and the Tacoma and Auburn Valley Humane Societies. I can take dogs on short or long walks, runs, and hikes, can handle all sizes and ages of animal, and know how to and am able to groom, pet sit, and train for a negotiable additional cost. I recently graduated from Pacific Lutheran University earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and am currently working remotely. I love working with animals and because of my flexible working conditions I am able to stay with the animals I’m caring for full-time. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your fluffy companion. I am currently continuing my education online and working remotely, so I have complete flexibility in my schedule! I love animals and have been working as a pet sitter for years and love this work. I try to maintain the routine that an animal normally has as much as I can. I like to meet an animal where they’re at, if they have a lot of energy I’ll provide enrichment, walks, and engage with them often, if they’re lower energy we’ll hang out and I’ll provide as much snuggling as they’re interested in!
About: I have taken care of family dogs for many years, and have raised my own two Golden Retrievers from 8 weeks old. I have always loved animals and love learning how to communicate with them. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I can work with whatever requirements you have. I also live downtown with a car, so I can drive to you. I am happy to take your dog for a walk, give them pets/cuddles in your home, or play with them in your yard! I am comfortable walking multiple dogs at once (if you have more than one) or can take your pups for individual walks if needed. I will treat your animals as if they were my own!
About: I have always had pets in my life, and I would love to help take care of yours. I grew up with dogs of almost every size and I am still very comfortable with them, although now I’ve been adopted by a sweet little kitty. I’m very experienced with both cats and dogs. I am very capable of whatever you need from simple walks and cleaning litter boxes, to giving medications and any other special needs your furry little friends could need. I live in downtown Seattle and I in my time down here I feel like I’ve learned many great walking routes that would both keep your pups safe and engaged. I am very much looking forward to working with both and your special animals. Thank you for your consideration. While I do have a full time job, my hours there are extremely easy to change around. So let’s chat and see if we can make something happen that is good for everyone. Having been around pets my entire life I feel that I am very attuned to reading the vibe a pet gives off, and then being very able to match that energy level.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pioneer Square
I’ve been so impressed with the care Echo has received. Her walker is reliable, communicative, and genuinely seems to enjoy spending time with her, which means a lot to me. The walks are thoughtful and thorough, I always get great updates and photos through Rover, and I never feel like the visit is just being rushed through to check a box. Most importantly, Echo absolutely loves her mid-day walk and is clearly comfortable and happy when Madison arrives. Having someone I trust this much with her has made the transition into a new work routine so much easier, and I’m incredibly grateful to have found such kind, dependable care for her.

Deanna has been great with Athena! She’s dependable, easy to communicate with, and I always feel comfortable knowing Athena is in her care. Athena really enjoys her walks with her, and I appreciate how attentive and caring Deanna is. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable dog walker!

Bret was so great with my girls! He came over a few days before to meet my dogs and see what needs to be done during his visit. He had great questions to be sure he provided exceptional care and you can tell he loved animals and they gravitate to him. His experience and knowledge with high energy and large dogs which made me feel so much more comfortable and excited to find someone I can trust with my girls! Will definitely be booking with Bret again!

I’m so glad I got connected with Sami! Very great communicator and she was so great with our dog, took her on a nice walk and handled her with ease for being a last minute request/the first time meeting her! Plus she got the sweetest pictures too ❤️ looking forward to having her back for more walks in the future!

She was amazing with Enzo! She kept us updated throughout every visit, sent lots of pictures, took him on great walks, and genuinely seemed to enjoy spending time with him. Enzo was comfortable and happy with her, and we felt completely at ease while we were away. She was also very positive, communicative, and followed all of our instructions perfectly. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her!

Jade was amazing and so knowledgeable, she made Ivy (and me!) so comfortable and confident during our meet & greet, and Ivy had a great day with her and her dog Mojo. I got lots of updates with fun videos and cute pics, and I came home to a happy, tired, well-cared for puppy, which is just the best feeling! Thanks Jade!
