“Laurie was an amazing cat sitter for our two furballs. It was a bit short notice of a request, but she was able to easily handle drop-in visits, including managing two litter boxes while we were transitioning between litter systems. Great communicator and would definitely reach out again!”

“Lexi was great! Came and let our Cortez out and got treats too (as a bargaining chip because he’s silly like that)! Definitely recommend her to come see your pup for the day for a walk/play/bathroom break!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting since I was old enough to babysit. Most of my experience is with dogs, I live a very active lifestyle and enjoy going on adventures with them. My last dog passed when he was 19 so I have a ton of experience with seniors. I work a hybrid role where I only need to be in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays weekly. My work day is very flexible and I am home most weekends. I live in a studio apartment with a courtyard where people are often bring out dogs. The courtyard provides its own dog bags as well.
“Marie-Rose provided amazing care for my cat. She has great communication and took initiative to find games that my cat enjoyed. Lots of photos and videos. Plenty of assurance that cheddar was being well cared for while in her care. Will book again!!”

“Michelle was great! It's clear she knows what she's doing and really cares for the animal she's watching. She didn’t just stop by to feed them, she interacted with them, and kept them entertained. Our kittens were happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. We would definitely use her again!”

“Sarah was absolutely incredible with our new puppy, Millie. We were away for three days, and she made the whole experience feel effortless and reassuring. Her communication was constant and thoughtful—daily wrap‑up summaries, plenty of photos and videos, and quick responses anytime we checked in. Millie adored her. Sarah made sure she was entertained and comforted, even putting on a little TV show for her whenever she stepped out for the day. It was such a sweet touch and showed how attentive she is to the small things that make a puppy feel safe. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup who clearly felt loved and cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for someone truly communicative, kind, and reliable.”

“Blake was super communicative and took lots of pictures! She was very friendly and my dog loved her immediately! I would definitely use her services again!”

“Kennedy did a great job of watching our cats while we were on vacation. She was prompt, respectful of our home, and ensured the cats were well taken care of. I plan to use her services again the next time we leave town!”

“Glad to find someone close by able to give Kitty some affection and took care to follow instructions, left my place secure. Was my 1st time using Rover! would use again”

“Tassia took great care of our kitty, Philly! We’re so pleased with the time she took to feed him, clean up after him, and play with him. Philly enjoyed seeing her every morning! Thank you, Tassia!”

“Aaron was so good to our pup while we were out of town for a week long trip. We had a short meet up before we left to give Aaron the lay of the land since this was his first time watching our pup. Our pup can be a little skittish when we aren’t around but Aaron took it slow and persevered and by the end of the week they were good friends. Aaron provided the perfect amount of check-ins (videos and messages) bringing us humans comfort that our pup was in the right hands and settling in nicely. We will definitely have Aaron back soon!”

“Thank you so much Wing Shan for taking such good care of our kitties! She really went above and beyond for them and we came home to two calm kitties. She also helped us with a few odds and ends around the house that we left unfinished before leaving. She is super kind and communicative and responsible, and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!”

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember and I’ve never lived without them. Over the years, I’ve raised and trained countless dogs, birds, and more litters of kittens than I can count. Currently, I share my home with Whidbey, my friendly male Ragdoll kitten. He’s incredibly social with both cats and dogs and enjoys an active social life with his furry friends. Right now, I have extra time on my hands as I prepare to switch careers—and while my husband has (wisely) vetoed my dream of turning our home into a zoo, pet sitting feels like the perfect win-win. Whether your fur baby needs cuddles, calm companionship, or a bit of playful attention, they’ll be in safe, loving hands with me. I can’t wait to meet them! I'm currently in a career transition phase, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time and energy to dedicate to pet care. I’m home most of the day, so your pet will have lots of attention, playtime, and supervision—whether they're staying overnight or just dropping in for a visit. Pet care easily fits into my daily routine and is something I truly enjoy. From morning snuggles to evening play sessions, I'm here to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for throughout the day. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities. In my home, I provide a clean, cozy, and pet-friendly environment where your cat or small dog can feel relaxed and secure. I closely monitor interactions, especially during meet-and-greets or first-time stays, and I’m happy to separate pets until needed to ensure everyone feels safe. My Ragdoll kitten, Whidbey, is very gentle and social—used to being around other cats and dogs. Whether they need space, extra cuddles, or quiet time, I’m happy to adapt. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I treat your space with respect and keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you can feel totally at ease while you're away.
About: I love to be around all dogs and their personalities. I’ve had dogs and grown up around them all my life. In high school I worked at a dog daycare/ boarding in Gig Harbor for 3 years. Working there I gained experience with feeding, boarding, and understanding all types of breeds. I started doing Rover when I was in college because I missed being around dogs. Now I have a dog (French Bulldog) who loves her ‘dog friends’. I work at home most days of the week and my job can be flexible to adjust to the needs of the dog. (I come home on lunch to walk Margaux) My evenings and weekends are fully free to spend time with your pet. I have a studio apt with large windows that gets plenty of afternoon sun, and a covered balcony to give the dog a nice view to the outside (supervised).
About: I grew up on a ranch, helping to care for animals from the exotic pet trade as part of their rehabilitation. This also gave me an understanding of animal body language, respect for their quality of life, and the patience to train them. I work from home on art commissions, but love to get a chance to go outside. Because of this, my schedule is quite open and flexible for daytime. It is totally up to what the client requests for their pets care, but as per my morals, I only train pets through positive reinforcement. Patience and understanding are the core elements of how I approach animals and especially pets. At home I have a small crate and 2 small friendly dogs that free roam because they are my good little princesses.
“Erin was a great babysitter for our cat! She provided excellent updates on Luna and was very helpful when she got a blister while we were out of town. And seeing Luna’s mannerisms in the photo updates, I see that she loved Erin and had lots of fun with her! I definitely recommend!”

“Val is a regular for Wally now and he absolutely loves having her around. She is always consistent with communication, provides amazing updates and looks after Wally/my home like her own. For this visit Val also agreed to extend the stay last minute which made it possible for me to extend my travel, this was super helpful and much appreciated! Love having you around to take care of Wally and thank you again for all your help :) couldn’t have asked for a better sitter!”

Pioneer Square pet parents share their Rover experiences
Noah was able to set up a five-day pet sitting appointment on short notice. He came to my home before I left in order to meet the cats and review what was needed for their care. He is personable, confident and capable. I recommend Noah as a reliable pet sitter choice.
Vincent took great care of Fudge and Stealthy Culprit for 2 weeks. He was responsive and kept in touch. I was worried that they were bored as they usually have access to outside when I'm home. He was understanding of this and tried to get them to play when he was there. Fudge also has had issues with stones in his bladder, vincent had experience of this with his cats so that was reassuring and he knew what to look out for.

Carter was amazing! Ghibli is a kitten and he actually ran up to Carter during the meet and greet, which he almost never does with new people. That immediately made me feel really good about leaving him in Carter’s care. I loved the detailed updates and photos, and Carter even went above and beyond and helped clean up my place a bit. I really appreciate how much care he put into looking after Ghibli. I’ll definitely be booking Carter again!

Olena was absolutely wonderful! This was my dog Charlie’s first time staying home alone, and she completely put my mind at ease. She was prompt, reliable, and incredibly responsive throughout every visit. I loved receiving photos and updates, which helped me feel connected and reassured while I was away. Olena made sure Charlie got his walks, plenty of attention, and lots of love during her check-ins. It was clear that she genuinely cared about his well-being and comfort. Knowing he was in such capable and caring hands made all the difference. I would absolutely book with Olena again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, communicative, and compassionate pet sitter. Thank you, Olena, for taking such great care of Charlie! 💕
