Our French Bulldog, Bobo, is our child, and this was the first time we had left him since he suffered an IVDD flare earlier this year. Needless to say, we were incredibly nervous. Because of his recent health issues, he has a number of restrictions and special considerations to help prevent another IVDD flare, and Kevin and Kandice were so attentive and conscientious about following all of his care instructions. They immediately put us at ease and kept us updated throughout our trip with messages and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting since I was old enough to babysit. Most of my experience is with dogs, I live a very active lifestyle and enjoy going on adventures with them. My last dog passed when he was 19 so I have a ton of experience with seniors. I work a hybrid role where I only need to be in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays weekly. My work day is very flexible and I am home most weekends. About: I grew up with pets, from large to small. My sibling and friends always rely on me fostering their dogs and cats. I work from home and won’t leave your pets alone. My husband and I work full time from home, so your pets will always be attended to. They will pretty much hang out with us while we go about our day. My husband starts walking all of the dogs at around 8am. I will open my fenced yard at midday for a midday pee break. My husband will come back at around 6:30pm to give all of the dogs another walk. We usually feed the dogs their morning and evening meals after they come back from their walks. We will open the yard again before bed for a late night pee break.

About: I’m a local native! I grew up in Tacoma where we adopted our dog Pixie when I was about 10 years old. Pixie now runs around with Old Yeller, Marley, and Balto in dog heaven, but she was an eccentric, energetic pup through her late years. Melba, my cat, was our family pet up until I moved back to Seattle in 2016, where I had the pleasure of keeping her until her dying days in late 2019. I now have my 3.5 yo Siamese/bengal— the sassiest cat around who loves to adventure and hunt outdoors. I love to go for walks and as I don’t have a dog right now, Rover is a great way to walk with a buddy and help your pupper (or cat) get exercise. Camille and I have a routine schedule- he is usually out for most of the day exploring. (He really is a confident cat). He’ll come back home for dinner+snuggles and he’ll be up by 5am ready to go back outside for a new day. I met a friend’s rescue pup who gravitated to me because we shared the same type of trauma history.. I love animals. You can see when their little minds are flustered and I am always happy when I can bring the care and relief of stress to animals that need it.

“Jennifer and Ken were wonderful! Porkie enjoyed visits to the dog park, adventures to Mercer Island, the companionship of Kaiya and Birdie, and lots of cuddles and treats! Jenn sent me updates each day with photos and videos of Porkie’s shenanigans. Both were also super accommodating. They were available for our early flight (4:00am) and stayed with Porkie until our late arrival (11:30pm). Jenn is also very thoughtful - suggesting we do a meet up beforehand so Kaiya and Porkie can meet. Needless to say, Kaiya is a darling sweetie pie and was an excellent host. Would definitely book with the trio again!”
