About: Hi! I'm Gena. I've always had a special place in my heart for animals, and caring for them has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. Growing up with a family dog in Hong Kong and later caring for my two cats for several years taught me that every animal has their own unique personality, quirks, and way of showing love. I genuinely enjoy taking the time to earn a pet's trust, understand their needs, and make them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I also graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, where I studied animal behavior, welfare, and health. My education helps me better understand how animals communicate, recognize signs of stress or discomfort, and provide thoughtful, attentive care. Friends often describe me as empathetic, gentle, and dependable. Whether your pet is playful and energetic, shy and reserved, or an older companion who needs extra patience, I'll care for them with the same kindness and attention I'd want for my own. I know how difficult it can be to leave a beloved pet behind. My goal is to give you peace of mind by treating them like family and keeping you updated with plenty of photos and messages while you're away. I work fully remote with a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide attentive care throughout the day. Whether it's walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping your pet company, I can easily accommodate their routine and make sure they receive plenty of attention and affection! I'm clean, organized and responsible. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow your care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special routines. I take the time to earn each pet's trust, respect their boundaries, and keep their environment clean, calm, and secure. I'll also provide regular photo and text updates so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.

About: Hi! I'm Rachael! I've been casually pet sitting for friends, family, & acquaintances for several years, and happily care for pets like they are my own. I am a psychotherapist with a background in behavior analysis and education in animal behavior (my concentration in college!). I deeply care about the ethical and compassionate care of animals, and take very seriously the task of caring for your pets! I really enjoy being with animals, and feel obligated to ensure they are getting the maximum enrichment they can from our time together. I'm very attuned to pets and the sometimes subtle behaviors they use to communicate with us. I'm currently working remotely and often have large gaps in my schedule where I can drop in to feed your cats or take your dogs on a good, long walk! I'm usually only available for drop ins on weekends, but am happy to do overnights during the week. I focus on exercise, engagement, and safety of your pets, beyond the basics of survival. I know animals can take a long time to warm up, so I do my best to give them space while also offering moments to connect with me safely. I also know that choosing a pet sitter is vulnerable and risky, so I ensure thorough follow-through, engagement and kindness to help you feel confident in your time away from your pets!
