About: Hi, I'm Ross. Living in the heart of Downtown Seattle between Pike Place Market and the Waterfront, I know firsthand that city walks require a lot more than just holding a leash. I am the proud owner of two large rescue dogs from Seattle Humane, and they have taught me everything I need to know about expert dog handling. For the past 8 years, I’ve been navigating the busy downtown streets with Finn, my 9-year-old Doberman/Lab mix. He is a big, joyful bundle of excitement who loves to pull on his leash. In fact, he’s convinced he personally owns the entire territory from our neighborhood all the way up to Interbay! I also share my life with Charlie, a 5-year-old Hound who prefers a slower pace—he loves to suddenly "apply the brakes" and cautiously take in his surroundings. I am available 7 days per week. Located right downtown, I am perfectly positioned for evening and midday walks and drop-in visits while you are at work or away for the day. Whether your dog needs a high-energy trek along the Waterfront to burn off energy, or a patient, slow sniff-walk nearby, I’d love to give them the exact care they need! Because of Finn and Charlie, I don't just walk dogs; I actively read their body language and adapt to what they need. * For the Excitable Pullers: Thanks to Finn, I have the physical strength and patience to safely manage strong, eager pullers without getting frustrated. I know how to keep a dog focused and safe on crowded city sidewalks. * For the Cautious & Stubborn Pups: Thanks to Charlie, I know exactly how to handle dogs who get nervous, freeze up, or drop their anchors. I never rush a cautious dog; I use patience, gentle encouragement, and positive reinforcement to make them feel secure. * True Rescue Experience: I understand that rescue dogs often have unique quirks, anxieties, or reactivity. I am incredibly respectful of their boundaries and will follow your specific training cues to the letter.

About: I have over a decade of dog care experience, having had my own dogs for many years and well into their old age, I am comfortable giving medications and caring for animals with unique needs. I work a full time job in a medical laboratory, but I can be flexible, and will so my best to adjust my hours to accommodate your furry friends’ preferred schedules. Just let me know, and we can discuss their routine. As of now, I can only offer in-home petsitting services, as my apartment has a no pets policy. I am happy to abide closely by your pets daily routine, and actually believe it is less stressful for them to stay in a familiar environment. I am also happy to water plants and perform other small home maintenance activities during my visits.
