“Olivia was responsive, punctual, and overall an excellent catsitter! Our cat can be a bit difficult, but Olivia did a great job respecting his space and letting him warm up to her. Thank you again!”

“Michelle is wonderful! She is so cummunicative and always responds very quickly, which is fantastic 😊She kindly came to meet and greet my cat, which was so thoughtful. Michelle is especially great to work with long-term. Both my cat and I are very happy to have had her care!”

“Mariia is so thoughtful and takes such great care of Miss Kitty. She’s alway relaxed and calm when I get home. Really appreciate Mariia’s great care and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her for your pet’s needs!”

“Super helpful and flexible. She was able to pick up our dog from our wedding ceremony, which was time sensitive. She was on time, professional, and got Tofu home safely. Thank you!”

“Blake was super communicative and took lots of pictures! She was very friendly and my dog loved her immediately! I would definitely use her services again!”

“Joanna was great, did all of the needed tasks and sent videos and pics daily. She took a bit of time to entertain and play with Tina, which made me feel a bit better about being away.”

“Hannah is the best! She is communicative and responsible. She took perfect care of our two cats while we were out of town. One of our family members let our indoor cats outside and Hannah went over and found them and put them safely back inside. We’ll always use her!”

“Aaron was so good to our pup while we were out of town for a week long trip. We had a short meet up before we left to give Aaron the lay of the land since this was his first time watching our pup. Our pup can be a little skittish when we aren’t around but Aaron took it slow and persevered and by the end of the week they were good friends. Aaron provided the perfect amount of check-ins (videos and messages) bringing us humans comfort that our pup was in the right hands and settling in nicely. We will definitely have Aaron back soon!”

About: I grew up caring for dogs and cats, and as a pet parent to two, I understand how much a personalized experience matters. To trust someone with your pet who you know will make the pet feel cared for and to go above and beyond. It’s hard enough leaving your pet, that’s why I try to create the best experience so you know they’re in good hands. When it comes to true experience, I have experience training animals and as a psychology major, I’m well aware of conditioning. I currently work from home with a flexible schedule. My normal working hours are 7am-3pm but I can be available during that time as well. The more of a heads up, the better! I have two friendly cats who have been around dogs and plenty of great spaces to go around walks in the area. My apartment complex also has a dog area on the roof that makes bathroom breaks very convenient for doggos.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember and I’ve never lived without them. Over the years, I’ve raised and trained countless dogs, birds, and more litters of kittens than I can count. Currently, I share my home with Whidbey, my friendly male Ragdoll kitten. He’s incredibly social with both cats and dogs and enjoys an active social life with his furry friends. Right now, I have extra time on my hands as I prepare to switch careers—and while my husband has (wisely) vetoed my dream of turning our home into a zoo, pet sitting feels like the perfect win-win. Whether your fur baby needs cuddles, calm companionship, or a bit of playful attention, they’ll be in safe, loving hands with me. I can’t wait to meet them! I'm currently in a career transition phase, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time and energy to dedicate to pet care. I’m home most of the day, so your pet will have lots of attention, playtime, and supervision—whether they're staying overnight or just dropping in for a visit. Pet care easily fits into my daily routine and is something I truly enjoy. From morning snuggles to evening play sessions, I'm here to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for throughout the day. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities. In my home, I provide a clean, cozy, and pet-friendly environment where your cat or small dog can feel relaxed and secure. I closely monitor interactions, especially during meet-and-greets or first-time stays, and I’m happy to separate pets until needed to ensure everyone feels safe. My Ragdoll kitten, Whidbey, is very gentle and social—used to being around other cats and dogs. Whether they need space, extra cuddles, or quiet time, I’m happy to adapt. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I treat your space with respect and keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you can feel totally at ease while you're away.
About: I have taken care of many kinds of animals and even work with animals in my research work. I am looking to transition away from research currently and hoping to make this full time for a little bit. I am looking for ways to boost my mood and being around animals is the best way to do it! I am looking to transition away from my current position and do something like this full time for now! I can be very accommodating and will do anything to make your animal happy, loved and comfortable! Here is a clear, professional answer you can use or adapt: I care for pets by following their established routines and providing attentive, compassionate care tailored to each animal’s needs. In my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed according to their schedule, always have fresh water, and receive appropriate exercise, playtime, and companionship. I monitor their behavior and health closely, watching for any changes in appetite, energy, or mood, and I administer medication if required following the owner’s instructions. I also maintain a clean, safe environment by cleaning feeding areas, litter boxes, cages, or bedding as needed. Most importantly, I prioritize the pet’s comfort and well-being by offering patience, positive reinforcement, and plenty of affection so they feel secure and cared for while they are with me!
About: I have hands-on experience caring for friends’ and family’s pets, from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a little extra care, loving, and time. With a flexible schedule, I’m able to provide attentive and reliable care for your pup. For last-minute bookings, please allow a minimum of 30 min before the start time. Your pup will be cared for in a calm, low-stress environment! I have two gentle, friendly dogs, and a large crate is available upon request for pups who prefer their own quiet space.
“Brittany was a great sitter for my 14 year old labradoodle. She made sure to make him feel loved and went above and beyond to keep him happy and kept me updated with photos and videos from each visit. I will definitely be a regular client and highly recommend working with Brittany!”

“Jamie is amazing. She is very professional and her communication is on point. She took care of my two cats like her own while I was away and my cats seemed to have loved her as well. 100% will reach out to her again when I need someone to look after my cats.”

“Gabriel was great! He did check ins for my two cats for two days while I was out of town. One of my cats who is usually extremely shy around new people was even warming up in the short amount of time. Even though I was pretty busy I was happy to see the updates and photos when checking later in the day. I would definitely recommend him and if needed would book again.”

International District pet parents share their Rover experiences
Alijah was great with my cat. During my Christmas vacation she kept me updated on how he was doing and provided pictures as well. She also made sure she had the information she needed, such as where the cat carrier was in case of emergency and where the apartments trash area was for litter disposal. She also made sure that my boy got the attention he needed and that he had food and water. It was hard for me to to leave him behind for the amount of time I did, but Alijah showed that he was in good hands while I was away. Overall a positive experience and I will consider her next time I go traveling and am short on people to look after my cat.

Aaliyah has taken such amazing and thoughtful care of my cat and senior bunny - she is responsible, reliable, diligent and a great communicator (she has also been very understanding with my travel schedule and response times) she has followed instructions, and gone above and beyond to cleanup any messes left by the critters. I very highly recommend Aaliah’s services!

Matty takes such good care of my two cats! I have one especially skittish cat who used to worry me every time I’d travel. Matty has petsat for us twice now, and he loves him. I always return to a spotless house and healthy cats. I will definitely only be booking with Matty moving forward!

Fantastic! Made sure my guy was well loved while I was away and kept me updated. Everything was perfect when I returned and was super flexible with meeting up to return my keys when I had some issues come up upon my return. Will 100% use them again! I think Bruno was a fan as well.

We are so grateful to Bethany and the amazing care that she provided to our cat, Monroe. She was very communicative during our whole trip and sent lots of pictures, which put our minds at ease. She was also attentive to our cat’s mobility challenges and medication/supplement needs. We would absolutely have Bethany care for our pets again and again!
