Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my focus is always on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment that meets their individual needs. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and personality so they feel comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I respect the space and follow all instructions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, litter box care, or favorite toys and routines. I aim to keep things consistent, just like their family would. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I make sure the space is cozy, clean, and pet-safe. I offer plenty of playtime, cuddles, and quiet time depending on what each pet enjoys. I’m mindful of cues and body language and never rush interactions, especially with shy or senior animals. I believe pets thrive on trust and routine, and I treat each one with the same love and attention I’d give my own.

Laura was able to cat and tortoise sit for us with just a few days notice. Both animals were very content when we arrived back home and she sent lots of photos to keep us updated. We will definitely have Laura back in the future.

An indicator of how good a dog sitter is that your dog is calm and happy when you return home. I could already see that, tho, from the twice daily updates and pictures we received from Laura! Laura is kind and caring, took wonderful care of Zorro in our home, and is also very talented. We were surprised with a pet portrait that totally captured Zorro's essence. Thank you for the precious gift.
Laura was amazing with my two Frenchies! She took great care of them and sent photos and updates daily, which I really appreciated. I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommend!
Laura is a FANTASTIC sitter. She watched our two dogs (Chihuahua and GSD) over Thanksgiving and made sure they felt safe and cared for. She was extremely attentive to our pets’ special needs; administered medications and provided us with timely updates including pictures. She has an innate sense of calm mixed with an intelligent and protective confidence that made her the perfect match for our anxious doggos. She even went out of her way to make special ornaments that had our dog’s pictures on them and left a sweet handwritten note. Anyone lucky enough to have a pro like Laura take care of their pets will not be disappointed!
Hello, Laura is my daughter and she has a great deal of love for fur babies. She is verry responsible and kind to all creatures. Our dogs go ape over her visits.

I'm a teacher so I have the summer off! Caring for animals fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine—it truly brings me joy! I enjoy building regular schedules for feeding, playtime, walks (when needed), and quiet companionship. Whether I’m doing morning check-ins, afternoon play sessions, or evening snuggles, I make time to give pets the attention and care they need to feel safe and loved. I’m flexible and dependable, so I can easily work around a pet’s preferred routine. Whether it’s a quick visit or a longer stay, I treat each pet like my own and make sure they’re comfortable, enriched, and happy while their people are away.
